5961  Economy / Speculation / Re: perfect timing for re-buying on: November 11, 2017, 01:35:46 PM
Seems a great opportunity to buy, if you’re on the sidelines looking for an entry point this is it.
5962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x continuing the fork ! on: November 10, 2017, 04:05:20 PM
You and your friends are complete tools that get played around by any news outlet and children that know how to host a website. Sheep are very intelligent beings in comparison.

Segwit2X is dead.

And don’t rest in peace SegwitX2

All the usual suspects are out to play I see, the same one’s who sold at $200 & were predicting bitcoin’s journey to doubl figures. How’s life treating you guys? You must have made so much money shorting this, right  Roll Eyes

Balls, we are going to 5xxx. I'll wait for the dead cat to sell the play btc Sad

There’s always good buying opportunities at times like this, especially if it goes to 5xxx. Don’t be the idiot(s) who sell at the bottom.
5966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh This is just the beginning on: November 10, 2017, 12:09:35 PM
Oh its gonna fall even harder. I told you to sell a few days ago...

Any chart analysis, technical feedback, reasoning or is this just a low quality FUD attempt?
5967  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price drop? on: November 10, 2017, 12:08:33 PM
It's profit-taking. The price went up too fast, and the smart money is cashing out. When it bottoms at about $6000, people will buy again.

Nothing ever goes up in a straight line, and it would be healthy if bitcoin traded in a $6000 to $7000 range for the next few months.

Somebody turned the fucking lights out. This post above makes sense though, I guess this is probably a healthy pull back even if we don’t like to see it.
5968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 World Cup qualifications, UEFA zone, discussion and information thread on: November 10, 2017, 12:06:32 PM
Honduras vs Australia, surely the Ozzie’s will take the victory here. I know they’re not a football super power but they should have too much quality for Honduras surely.
5969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever convince or encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin? on: November 10, 2017, 12:02:07 PM
Yeah I convinced at least 2 that I’m aware of, I am a regular poster in another forum which has nothing to do with crypto. I spoke at length about bitcoin on there & I know at lewst two guys have invested from there.
5970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto Currency is making people millionaires all over the world on: November 10, 2017, 12:00:33 PM
2020 millionaires all  over the world Grin Grin

It certainly is making millionaires all over the world & will continue to do so. 2020 is actually the next halving & if you base it on past block reward halving’s the price will significantly pump again after 2020.
5971  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 08, 2017, 08:06:25 PM
Why the hell is the price going down?
5972  Economy / Speculation / Re: SegWit2x is DEAD! Bitcoin to the Moon! on: November 08, 2017, 07:37:00 PM
SegWit2x dying is the best thing that could have happened to bitcoin, the OP calling $10,000 per bitcoin could bear fruition. I certainly hope so any way.
5973  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 08, 2017, 05:35:50 PM
Here is the message quoted from the bitcoin-segwit2x mailing list confirming that the hard fork is suspended:

Quote
The Segwit2x effort began in May with a simple purpose:  to increase the blocksize and improve Bitcoin scalability. At the time, the Bitcoin community was in crisis after nearly 3 years of heavy debate, and consensus for Segwit seemed like a distant mirage with only 30% support among miners. Segwit2x found its first success in August, as it broke the deadlock and quickly led to Segwit’s successful activation. Since that time, the team shifted its efforts to phase two of the project - a 2MB blocksize increase.

Our goal has always been a smooth upgrade for Bitcoin.  Although we strongly believe in the need for a larger blocksize, there is something we believe is even more important: keeping the community together. Unfortunately, it is clear that we have not built sufficient consensus for a clean blocksize upgrade at this time. Continuing on the current path could divide the community and be a setback to Bitcoin’s growth. This was never the goal of Segwit2x.

As fees rise on the blockchain, we believe it will eventually become obvious that on-chain capacity increases are necessary. When that happens, we hope the community will come together and find a solution, possibly with a blocksize increase. Until then, we are suspending our plans for the upcoming 2MB upgrade.

We want to thank everyone that contributed constructively to Segwit2x, whether you were in favor or against. Your efforts are what makes Bitcoin great. Bitcoin remains the greatest form of money mankind has ever seen, and we remain dedicated to protecting and fostering its growth worldwide.

Mike Belshe, Wences Casares, Jihan Wu, Jeff Garzik, Peter Smith and Erik Voorhees

Looks like this is the reason for the pump then? Would definitely make sense.

5976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 08, 2017, 05:18:41 PM
Arsene Wenger is said to not face disciplinary actions from the FA from his outburst after losing to Manchester City this Sunday where he claimed that Raheem Sterling is a great diver, I think there is always double standards in the FA on how they treat certain managers because I remember Jose Mourinho being banned by the FA for kicking a water bottle whereas Arsene Wenger did the same and got off free.

The English FA are a shower of shit man, they make the rules up as they go on bro.
5977  Other / Meta / Re: Reported To Moderators Asking to Delete Offending Posts But Offending Posts not on: November 04, 2017, 12:20:47 PM
I’m not clicking on that link but I don’t even think derogatory comments & insults are against the rules here. Maybe just man up & stop being a whiny bitch, put people on ignore if they piss you off.
5978  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forums usage is Exploding on: November 04, 2017, 12:17:29 PM
There are two things that is exploding:
1) Hacked accounts and thus scams and all kinds of shady activity.
2) Shitposters from various 3rd world countries.

Other than that, the forum is degenerating and is worse than most mainstream news outlets and their comment sections. The numbers that you've pointed out are actually bad.

There are a lot of newbie accounts but do we not give some of them the benefit of the doubt? Bitcoin is hitting mainstream news because of the ATH’s so new people will migrate here. Obviously you can spot the shill / shit posters from a mile off but I think there will, genuinely be a lot of new people here now.
5979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: November 04, 2017, 12:14:13 PM
Deportivo vs Atletico - I think after such a disappointing CL campaign Atleti will be highly motivated to win this so I ho Atleti win.

Barcelona vs Sevilla - This will be a close game but Barca to win, just.
5980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 04, 2017, 10:25:05 AM
Leipzig vs Hannover - Leipzig to win
Dortmund vs Bayern - Really don’t know what to expect here. Either team could take all 3 points. I think both teams to score is the best option.
