I wanted to create a thread to get a general idea of what you look for when you're betting with your Crypto's.
I'm a developer myself & building a betting platform right now - I thought where better than here to ask for advice!

It'd take ages of moving winnings between game rounds if players would use their personal wallets to play in real life.
So maybe the only way would be to "deposit" your BTC in the casino's entrance and receive the classic casino chips again. So there won't be any difference between using BTC or not... it's up to the casino to accept this kind of alternative payment.
If a casino accepts BTC as a payment for chips, then it must also do the reverse operation of exchanging chips for BTC. And it may turn out that you won at the casino, but because BTC fell during the game, you can get a lower amount than before the game. We know that bitcoin is volatile but it is not that volatile that it may fall to 100s of dollars within the time span of a game. I would like physical casino to accept btc for the chips but the only hindrance will be the confirmation time. Maybe they can start this experiment with ETH or Doge coin, as it will hardly take few seconds for a doge coin transaction to be confirmed. |

We'll end up with just a few, high-quality exchanges. We never needed 200 unregulated exchanges in the first place. The bear market made it clear to them. The small exchanges like Novaexchange, Cryptopia , yobit (it will continue to exist) were the heaven for the new coins. The big exchanges like Binance and bittrex requires too much fee to list the coins which the small projects cannot afford to pay. With all the small exchanges shutting down, what will happen to those coins which are only listed on these exchanges ? |

Looks like many people are frustrated with current price action.Look back to March.If March 2019 somebody will told you that at begin of October bitcoin price will be 8K then i think most of will agree that it will be great
And remember how frustrated people have been March 2019 and look how long time that accumulation period was
It was three months or 4 moths.For sure one day one moment bitcoin will move up very strongly and it will be very impulsive movement
People were happy when bitcoin was moving from 3000 to 13000$ earlier this year and they wanted it to move in the same direction. But this cannot happen. Now that bitcoin started dump and there are some speculation in the market that it may dump down to 6000$ again. People have been waiting for 1.5 years for another bull run and this dump again made people sad. |

I want to buy bitcoin at $ 5k next month because I believe the market will continue dumping and the market will be in a sea of blood. I am really serious that bitcoin and alts have not been able to grow in recent days and there is no sign of any pump.
We should be mentally prepared for this.
There is really good resistance at $8K. I really do not think that BTC will still keep this downward trend. The price is looking to saturate at $8.1K level for BTC and $176 for ETH. There is a good chance that we will be back at $10-11K levels by the end of the year. The bulls are in the power and they won't let Bitcoin drop below $8000 this time. I hope in the coming months we will see a nice uptrend in the Bitcoin price and I also wish that all other coins also move along with bitcoins so that those people who are stuck in the altcoins can recover their losses. |

I have the feeling that users have to high expectations from Bakkt but at the end they might get disappointed.
It's only the begininig but and it takes some time to see the effects but I don't think that will influence Bitcoin significantly. Still I wouldn't like to make conclusions at the moment, let's wait a while.
Bakkt platform will have an impact on the bitcoin but this is not going to happen in days or weeks. In the coming months the Bitcoin will be more stable only because of bakkt. One thing more which I would like to add here is that Bitcoin would have dump to 6000$ again but maybe it is because of the bakkt investments it is not dumping and stable at $8000. We cannot ignore the bakkt factor. |

 Is today or coming days the time for you all to rock, Dogecoiners? Let's take a look at the above image, and you will see what I meant. Coming days are very important ones, not only for Dogecoin, but also for altcoins in general and especially very very important decisive period for bitcoin. Any kinda movements of bitcoin in coming days will trigger altcoin movements explosively. Altcoin season is very near and we need to focus on the volume of the altcoins especially the low satoshi ones. Doge coin has performed well in the last few days and have moved from 25 sat to 29 sat. Many people may not notice this movement but for the low satoshi coins, even the movement of 1 satoshi means good value. |

I honestly don't think a lot of altcoins have a very reliable future, there are only specific coins I think that are going to be fine in the future.
Only utility coins, stablecoins and BTC will have a future I reckon.
Utility coins because they will actually be used in platforms and as long the platform is doing well, the coin will as well.
Stablecoins when people want to be safe but not actually cash out.
And BTC, because BTC is king.
The future of altcoins is still good regardless of the current market conditions. We are in the bear market and a time will come when this phase will be over but this does not mean that after this all the alt-coins will Boom. Only the altcoins which have a proper working team and project will again gain the momentum while the rest of the shit coins will be buried to death. |

Well, the news looks amazing! Both sportsbook and slots have been stuff that we have been waiting for months now, I can't believe they are close now. Is there like an ETA on their release? We just got a confirmation that indeed you are working on it and also developed a good chunk of it but you know what they say, coding the %90 of the product takes 10% of the time and coding 10% of it takes 90% of the time, so if there is absolutely no ETA guess around then I think we just have to calm down and wait a bit more.
This doesn't feel like "coming soon" in the sense that "next week" or something, it feels like you are saying "we know you want slots and sportsbook so we are working on it, be patient" and that is not bad neither, as long as you guys are on that path we will eventually get it.
Both will be sometime this month and we're confident about that deadline. Wow. That will be a real party time. I have waited a long time for the sportsbook to be active on stake and finally it will be enabled anytime soon this month. I am sure he will use the exchange to pump his own coins and i will never trust that exchange. Maybe he has a lot of money to advertise or market his exchange but the exchange cannot survive only because of good marketing. If there is manipulation within the exchange, no trader will return to his exchange. |

A small mistake on dice made my wallet get emptied. Only mistake is that I didn't added an additional zero to the bet amount. Instead of 0.00005 btc I mistakenly placed 0.0005 btc. Further on the consecutive bets went for a double the value. This all of the sudden emptied my wallet. I didn't watched the wallet until the bet amount in the tab turned zero. Further watched the bet history and understood what big mistake I've done.
Mankind always learn with experiment and now you will always double check the amount before playing a dice site. Anyways 0.0005 is not that big so there is nothing to be worried. At first i also face such issues while transferring funds or spending bitcoins. But now i am very much familier that there are 8 zeros after the decimal and i never make this mistake again. |

India is in total control of this game and SA still require 150 runs to avoid follow on and 6 wickets in hand . Just a thought if India wrap up before this and will they give SA follow on will they bat and let SA face the 4th innings pitch on 4th and 5th day if required .
India does have the upper hand and with two days left i am expecting a draw, South Africa just trail by 117 runs on the third day and they still have two wickets in hand and even if India starts their batting they will be batting the entire 4th day and will try to score a lead of above 350 runs and then put the South Africa to bat on the final day and if they are able to play for a longer time then it is going to be a dead match. I expect the wicket to spin in the final two days and it will be difficult for batsman to score freely and a couple of good session could change the match. Around 180 overs remain in this match and South Africa hasn't finished their first innings yet. Even if India could get them out without much effort during the first session of the 4th day, I really doubt whether they will get enough overs to bowl out South Africa. But you never know. Ashwin can be very lethal on the 5th day. And if Jadeja also offers good support to him, then India may win this match comfortably. The biggest problem for India will be to decide when they declared their innings. What will be the safe score which they think that South Africa will not be able to chase in the last innings. At the same time they do not want to make use of lot of overs for them to reach the safe score because then it will leave less overs for them to bowl out the South African team. |

Altcoins will not disappear, it’s a fact, because you by yourself can see how many top altcoins work with big companies that need altcoin technologies such as ethereum, ripple and it is worth noting that there are a lot of such companies and there are more and more such companies constantly, so the top altcoins will have a good future, but the new altcoins that appear every day in the cryptocurrency sphere will experience enormous difficulties and many of them will disappear after some time,
To me this is not about old altcoins versus new altcoins, this is about whether or not a coin brings something of value to the community, if a coin is a copy of other projects or it is just a derivative project without any merit then that coin is going to fail regardless of how much time it has been on the market, the coins that will survive the current market conditions are those that have active developers that are actually trying to do something new in the market. Even if the coin is not as good as the developers thought it would be at least that will give us an answer to the question of how we can improve the market of cryptocurrencies, it will tell to us that is not the way and that is as important as knowing which is the correct way to implement a cryptocurrency. How many altcoins do you see in coinmarketcap ? Only around 2900. Now consider if every business / project has its own coin, there are still very less altcoins available in the world right now. In real life, we see many people doing the same business, so why can't two different coins be working on the same project prototype ? |

i think that bad idea , whenever blockchain and cryptocurrency being control by govermen. Even on system payment that already regulated fraud and scam still exist there. What we need is just peoples need more education about cryptocurrency
Why would we want bitcoins and crypto to be regulated or controlled by the central authority ? If i am not wrong, digital currencies are being used to eliminate the middle man or the government to interfere the money matters and to avoid the necessary burden of taxes. If we allow governments to take control of digital currencies too, then it is better to stick with Fiat. |

Such situations can discourage any investor.
People are still looking for a good project to invest. If anyone has a proper ICO project plan and they are able to convince the people that their investment will not go into waste, people will still invest in them. People always needs to invest in something which can provide them passive income. You can see the example of IEO. As soon as people realize the benefit of ieo, they started investing in them. You need to have a proper advertising plan to back up a legal project and you will find people to invest in it. |

If we based on many prediction, Yes it possible to happen and it will happen soon because according to the prediction on "experts" bitcoin will fall before the year 2019 ends, and now bitcoin experienced a continue price falling and when the time that bitcoin will fall they say that the altcoin will increase. So if we based on that theory the alt season is near to happen.
Yes, the alt season will come when the bitcoin dominance will decrease but at the same time we do not want the overall market cap to decrease too. If the marketcap of crypto remain stable only then the money will flow from bitcoins to the altcoins. However if the marketcap also decrease with the bitcoin price decrease, then the alts will dump too. |

It's pretty nuts that nobody noticed this even though it was a persistent issue for years. I'm curious to see how much extra Fortunejack made from this and what they will do to reimburse the effected players. Given that this issue dates back years it will be extremely difficult to even figure out who was effected and to what degree, but given this level of error they should really spend some time to get this right.
I am sure this was not done deliberately and this bug has just been figured out. Obviously they cannot compensate the players for this but the good thing is that they have accepted it and will update it. Also the new bug bounty announced by fortune jack is yet another step towards transparency and good faith. They can if they wish to do it, there must be a full history of bets made at Fortunejack so they can give some compensation for those who were affected. Obviously as what is said by Stunna, it might be difficult and take a lot of time but I believe it can be checked. The amount of win bets that graded as lose bets can be a huge amount since its been many years already, lets see what Fortunejack is going to do to deal with this. IMO, giving bug bounty for those who find this bug is not enough because the affected players deserves to get their money back if they lost some money due to this bug. Maybe they can, i think it will be asking too much from them. There may be players who played and left and no longer play on the sites. This will be a huge amount of effort to calculate all the bets and figure out the correct amount. My opinion is to leave the past but for the future, good thing is that no further players can be affected by it. |
