5981  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If I want to explain to a 10 years boy.what is blockchain?How should I explain? on: February 01, 2020, 05:22:57 AM
I'll use his toys to explain, assuming he/she has a building materials related toys like building tools, blocks etc I'll leverage on that but if the kid doesn't have I'll get him one immediately or us any available toy that can be used to build as a practice example because kids do learn faster when things are been thought in practical form then theory. And they hardly forget things they practiced.

I'll tell the kid, in the simplest form, a blockchain is a series of block in a chain form where information are been stored openly in can be easily verified. Then I'll used the toy bricks to build a chain of block and ask him if he can verify how many blocks were used in the demonstration and after we must have confirmed the numbers, I'll than build a wall over the chain of blocks I earlier built than pretend I added more block and ask him if he can guess how many blocks were added.

After the kid must have guessed wrong I'll then review to him/her, that I didn't add any blocks to the already existing chain of blocks but since the chain of blocks were been restricted from public view I could manipulate the situation to suit me and that's how a centralized system like the first currency works (probably call the name of the local currency where the kid reside like Dollars or Naira).
5982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 31, 2020, 12:04:35 PM
Whatsup with Lampard and the Chelsea board, thought we fought very hard for the FIFA ban to be lifted so we can buy players to strengthen the team in the January transfer window. It's already deadline day and no good news anyway. Spent countless hours trying to catch-up with the transfer market but I'm not impressed with Chelsea. So what was the essence of appealing the ban if we didn't have any plan in place to utilize the opportunity to get quality players with experience to compliment and buildup our youngsters?.

We need a striker to assist Abraham, which signing Dries Mertens would had done the trick. Don't understand why that deal haven't been sealed. Also what's the point of still holding Giroud back when he's of no use to the squad currently. He isn't getting enough any play time so why are Chelsea holding him back. We have Michy Batshuayi assuming weren't able to sign any striker, Lampard can work with both Abraham and Batshuayi. Chelsea should let go of Giroud, him been humble shouldn't be taken for granted.
5983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 30, 2020, 08:16:11 AM
At the opposite, Man City performance is questionable. They lost today vs ManU 1-0 which was playing with 10 players. Off-side goals, missing stupidly very very easy goals!! They really need to play a little bit more serious if they want to prove something or at least stay in the second place!

That wasn't the premier league, it was the league cup which Manchester city still advance with a 3-2 aggregate thereby making it to the finals where they're likely to win against Aston Villa considering pep will mostly likely want to win some domestic trophy while they try to win the champions league (which is an impossible tasks) since city aren't championship material.

The champions league isn't all about dominating possession but having experience plus the zeal to win games and having players at all departments ready to put their careers on the line inorder to win games, which is something Liverpool and other previous winners have. Manchester city in their prime season couldn't even win the championship league therefore the chances of them winning it now is very minimum considering the way they're playing ( lossing easy games).

No doubt Manchester city needs to up their game and start winning games back to back but as for the title, it's already lost to Liverpool. City will be playing tottenham next which they should win (on paper) but lets wait for the results.
5984  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to learn about Forex trading? on: January 30, 2020, 05:23:39 AM
I heard about imarketslive but i dont know much about it please how can i learn more?

I won't recommend you patronizing that site since it's more of a MLM company and can get you distracted from your Initial intention. The mouth watering bonuses associated with the MLM part of the company might make you lose interest in forex totally to concentrate on been a passive income earner since irrespective of your trade outcome you still pay subscription fees but as a MLM customer you won't have to pay that subscription fee considering you have atleast two active downlines (referrals).

The forex market is a very complex market and would require additional attention considering if you're totally new to the concept. I'll recommend you take physical classes that has nothing do with you promoting their platform and most importantly participate fully via trading, understanding the market by been able to read charts to predict market movement and not depend on recieving just trade signals or getting your account managed by professionals.
5985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: January 30, 2020, 05:08:39 AM
Once again, by relying on the site you highlighted on the OP you're putting your fund at risk by relying on an opinion from a total stranger, giving your financial advice through projects worth investing in based on their correlation with bitcoin which to some exact can't always be accurate at every price movement of the market.

For example their's this school of thought of Litecoin always profiting from the upward price movement of Bitcoin and from previous record, that have (mostly) been the case but after paying close attention to the Litecoin market last year, I noticed that wasn't always the case and I'm meant to believe that'll be the same fate with the correlation theory.

The cryptocurrency market is still highly influence by emotions so irrespectively of the strategy you're deploying to combat risk, you should understand that, the strategy can't be 100% accurate at all times. Nevertheless, since you're speaking on diversifying your investing, I won't recommend you concentrate on just cryptocurrency instead invest in other Investment vehicle that aren't correlated to bitcoin.
5986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: January 30, 2020, 04:46:02 AM
I can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Everyone is already writing about the project using their wealth to influence the decision of exchange by buying their way into getting listed but forgetting that sometimes it isn't by the doing of the project developers instead out of the greediness of exchanges wanting to cash in on the trading activities of such projects, they jump right into listing the project without carrying out research on the legitimacy of the project.

I have observed several exchange list trending coins just to profit from the trading activities of that project and most guilty parties are newly launched exchange or those lacking patronage. Shitcoins are presume to give easy profit especially when the projects get pumped like in the case of Bitcoin SV, putting this into consideration, they become very attractive and achieve big in regards to trading volume.

Investors/traders need to understand that not every tradable coins listed on an exchange is worth patronizing since most of them are just death trap to steal your fund. Don't rely on the recommendations of exchanges to trade a particular project, always carry-out personal research to avoid future regrets.
5987  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: January 29, 2020, 07:58:58 AM
No doubt KYC is extremely dangerous and useless especially as the risk associated with it isn't sending the right information towards an industy basing its selling point on decentralization but after considering the current developments of the industry, it'll be odd thinking the industry can succeed without implementing some centralized feature like KYC verification. The cryptocurrency industry is getting global and constantly attempting to get the government approval as a recognized currency therefore it'll have to sacrificed some of its decentralized feature to achieve this purpose like the KYC requirements to avoid money laundering.

The issue now is to enlighten the community to avoid falling victim to scammers who'll be leveraging on this development to scam newbies or gullible community users. Just as you have started, total avoidance in sending your private details to anyhow project like bounties, giveaways, newly launched exchange with no reputation of trustworthiness, airdrops etc is encourage since you can never be sure who are behind this projects.
5988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 28, 2020, 05:12:08 AM

Well this is the best news I have read all day, just hope it comes to pass because he'll truly a liability to the club when considering the amount of money we spent in buying him. Assuming I was in Lampard shoes, I'll get a replacement keeper before I even think about buying a new striker. Just hope Kepa will leave when they show him the door and not act as the second manager like he did towards Sarri during the cup finals against Manchester city back in 2019 lol.

Update on Chelsea vs Leicester game: It seems Jamie vardy is fit to play in todays game (League Cup semi-final second leg against Aston Villa) that means he'll be available in the Chelsea game which is another boost for Leicester.
5989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: January 27, 2020, 02:23:46 PM
Many people use other people's advice both in gambling and trading, because it is quite difficult to begin to understand it immediately. But if a person over time does not learn to calculate their real chances of winning / losing and based on this to build their game strategy, then most likely fortune will turn away from him.

Well said, personally too I don't see anything wrong with relying on someone for assistance when you're new to a particular field although it become foolishness/laziness when you choose to rely on others althrough you stay in that particular field not minding if it's either gambling or trading. When you encounter losses, while those relying on personal experience (suggestion, strategy etc) learns from that loss to improve on themselves and their strategies, the individual relying on others suggestions losses even more since both fund and experience (lessons) are been lost.

PS most betting tip sites are just based on speculation and not prediction per se since 99% of the time, it turns out they make wrong calls. In some cases this site are intentionally misleading their patronizers for their selfish benefits.
5990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 27, 2020, 02:01:11 PM
Both chelsea and Leicester city are in a bad form.

I guess the match would be fair with a draw although I really hoping for a cleansheet and 3 points away.
There's 4 big games awaits Chelsea in February.

I'm also hoping for a clean sheet too but that's unlikely to happen since Leicester aren't shy when it come to scoring goals and our (Chelsea's) defense aren't the best at stopping goals same as the keeper (Kepa). You can't bet on him keeping a clean sheets irrespective of the game been played. Concerning the goals, Abraham got injured in the last game but from the news via Lampard last press conference, it seems it wasn't a serious injury since he (Abraham) didn't fracture his ankle. Therefore the chances of him been available for the Leicester game is present.

Without him leading the attack especially in away games, our chances of scoring are minimum. He only finds it difficult to impress the home fans but for the traveling fans in away games, he always put on a show. The match is going to be an interesting one considering both teams are attack minded and can produce goals.

My prediction: Leicester 2 : 3 Chelsea
5991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for Beginners? on: January 26, 2020, 08:56:45 AM
If you have passion for trading then go with trading because passion bring knowledge and stamina and it take to success.

Although your post construction was poorly done, you still made some valid point and I will be meriting your post for the part qouted above. For the last couple of months I have been advocating for the importance of monetizing your passion which cryptocurrency trading was one of the points I enlighten for those with interest in the cryptocurrency industry. Did a post something titled; Fighting unemployment by monetizing your passion. as I did mention, many individuals rush into engaging themselves with passions that isn't theirs just because it has been proven to be profitable but lack the patience to invest their time into whatever they're doing since the love isn't present and their decision was only motivated by money.

Trading should be considered a hobby which you should develop passion for as that'll definitely help you in the long run. The advantages of doing something you love accompanied with it be a source of additional income, unconsciously helps in engaging the mind towards developing more interest on perfecting that act. The advice you highlighted is something many newbie ignore and it costs them alot since they give up halfway after experiencing some setback.
5992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problem in trust or correction time? on: January 26, 2020, 04:16:43 AM
One problem can't solve from first, if new investor can't trust new fresh coin why they don't invest in old coin. We several good coin already exists in cryptocurrency even with very low price. Even I don't think there could be a trust problem. All solution is now is the correction time!!

Doubt that's actually the scenario, the new Investors are trusting newly launched project more often than old ones since the possibility of making more gain is present in this project as that's what they advertise (promise their potential investors). The high rate of exit scam projects can also be related to the high patronize this scam projects are getting and most likely the new Investors are usually the victims since old ones most have learnt their lesson form last experience.

Investing in a project just because it's an old project is also a wrong investing advice and it won't stop any problem as you proposed. The main idea behind investing is to make profit and the profit associated with the old project are minimize compared to their new counterparts with exception to bitcoin. Old project are likable to die out due to new and improved project (based on the same ideology) are stealing most of their patronizers due to their more superior project. It all boils down to your investment decision as both old and new projects can be profitable as well as turn into a wrong investment decision.
5993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Will It All Slow Down For IEOs and What Will Replace Them ? on: January 26, 2020, 04:04:38 AM
In your opinion when will IEOs begin to be reduce in number? Just as happened with ICOs, it seems probable to conclude IEOs will one day be replaced with some other form of investment facility.

The evidence are everywhere, the lack of interest in IEO is already surfacing since it isn't that easy for a project carrying out an IEO to sellout their tokens as before. The only exchange that can probably sell out (currently) has to be Binance Exchange but the dump that usually follows the IEO projects once listed must have made Binance to loss interest in carry-out more IEOs. Also the lack of advertisment could be another reason why IEOs are lacking patronage.

The idea of depending only on the exchange to promote their project is killing most project since most of this exchange don't have a strong community. Back in the days of ICOs, we had bounty campaigns used to spread the news of crowdfunding but this days only few project still engage in such practices which goes to show how the industry have changed so far and only the exchanges with large audience are/were benefiting from this IEO ideology.

The generally lost of interest from Investors due to the poor turn out of ICO also contribute (or it's contributing) to the downfall of IEOs. The market conditions of the industry is making every investment decision an Investors make turns into a bad/poor ones since the market (most especially, altcoin market) is constantly on a decline in price, which produces a negative return of investment (in most cases).
5994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for Beginners? on: January 25, 2020, 11:46:10 AM
My question to everyone here is: What are the DOs and DONTs of bitcoin trading? Also any other advice for a beginner would be helpful.

You can easily get the answers to the question you seek by doing some online research either by searching directly on the forum or making use of Google. Don't get me wrong as I'm not trying to discredit what you have just done, which is also a form of research (question asking). But my recommendation above would had given you a move faster response. The most important advice any newbie wanting to engage in trading should have is getting enlighten (educated, informed etc) with the necessary skills required to succeed as a professional trader.

After acquiring those skills, next is mastering the act of controlling your emotions. If you're the type that can be easily influence, you first have to learn how to deal with that problem before thinking of engaging in cryptocurrency trading since it's a very emotional market govern by FOMO and FUD. Do understand that as a beginner, it won't be an easy first experience especially when the profits aren't coming as expected. In scanario like this you have to try different trading strategy until you get the one that suits you. Also, never overlook the importance of money management as it's very vital.
5995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Most popular decentralized marketplaces? on: January 24, 2020, 06:12:59 AM
Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Speaking of decentralized marketplace, although I haven't used any before that relate to selling and buying of service or products, I have come across numerous of them during my time in the industry but the easiest to remember is Coinmarketads since I once promoted them through a signature campaign sometime last year. The idea behind the platform was initiated after several bans of cryptocurrency related ads was reported from the likes of YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Back then, you can easily advertise your product or services to get patronise while the general accepted cryptocurrency for payment was their native token of the platform called CMA. Haven't followed up the project since then but most likely it should still be active.

I just have one worry towards this type of platforms, my experience from decentralized peer2peer exchange platforms weren't pretty so what are the precautions put in place to reduce or ensure cases of scams aren't experience like in cases where the sellers doesn't send the bought product after payment must have been made since the platforms aren't regulated.
5996  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: January 22, 2020, 08:11:14 AM
trading has been a difficult process for novices and minor traders. it could be tempting most times if you dont understand the market movement and TA. you might loose patience and cancel out a trade you might regret later. i have cancel out many trades that later ended up in huge profits. i have also cancel some successfully. i just curious to know if there is any sure way to this trading were by you hold on a trade.

You're not the only one that have encountered rhis problem, it's a common occurrence in the cryptocurrency spaces, FOMO and FUD is a major cause since gullible traders can easily be manipulated into thinking a particular coins is about to be pumped which will result to the traders exiting his/her current trade position so as to catch the other coins trains before it's too late. Same thing can be said towards a dumped fud spreading around.

Tacking this issue can be done through having a trading strategy as this will guide you toward staying discipline in each traded. Learning to keep you emotions in check to avoid fear or greed to overshadow you decision making will also go a long way towards ensuring that you profit from your trades as well as master your trading strategy.

Having extra fund readily available for emergency trades can also do the trick as you won't be tempted to temper with your current open trades that's if you're interested in trading other coins due to recent development pointing towards a profitable outcome coming from trading that particular coin.
5997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 22, 2020, 07:59:32 AM
Dealing with the market's volatility is one of the hardest things being encountered by most traders and investors which only needs continuous learning.

Dealing with the market volatility can be handled in two different ways, either you deal with it by becoming a hodler. That way, you won't be affected by the manipulation ongoing in the market by the whales and big players of the industry and only sell for profit when you have reached your estimated profit target or reached the maximum period of investment you set for yourself.

The second has to do with understanding that the volatile nature of the industry is what makes it very attractive and most promising. When you perfect the skills of taking advantage of the differences in the market conditions, you can make double/triple figure profit in matter of minutes/hours of actively trading. Investors or enthusiast of the industry have to understand this to start taking advantage of this price difference instead of complaining each time this occurs.

No doubt market manipulation is one of the major issue traders and Investors of the industry face. Learning to identify this manipulation is a very vital traits we all should get familiarize with to avoid victims to FUD and FOMO costly us our capital in the process.
5998  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You CANNOT trade successfully without RISK-MANAGEMENT on: January 22, 2020, 07:42:05 AM
I found lots of threads here on the reasons for losses or the ways to earn in the long term.

What types and methods of risk management you use? Any software? What risk limits do you set?

Every trader should be aware of risk management before picking interest in trading. Preferably taking courses on risk management should be considered an important part of understanding the act of trading. The diversification of assets is one of the ways to avoid losses although for the cryptocurrency industry, this technique is been misunderstood.

Assets that are related aren't worth diversifying since the market performance is directly influence by the same factor. Trading multiple altcoins is more risky than trading bitcoin or a particular Altcoin.  The whole concept of risk management is to avoid losses therefore anything that'll result to more losses than profit should be avoided by all course.

The used of advance trading tools like stop loss and buy limit can also be leverage on. The used of advance trading bot can also be considered if you're not an active trader constantly on your system 24 hours, 7 days a week monitoring the market.
5999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 19, 2020, 09:27:22 AM
Chelsea are SO BAD on the defence...1 clean sheet in the last 12 away games! Abysmal. At this point (Matchweek 23) there's no such things "no worries, they can improve", pfff, time to buy a couple of players.

True we have one of the worst defence currently but lets talk about the piece of shit we kept at the goal post in the name of Kepa (world costliest keeper) yet he has underperformed and hasn't impress anyone especially when we need him the most. If the defenders fuck up can't the keeper save the day? The one time we needed his service in the game yesterday, he was no where to be found.

Opinion on the Liverpool vs Manchester United game. Although united have been a tougher team when playing against the big boys, I don't think they'll be able to replicate similar success against Liverpool especially at home. Arsenal exposed their weakness as they couldn't restand the intensity of arsenal pressing (attacking) which is something Liverpool is known for.

Predictions 3:1 in favor of Liverpool.
6000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 19, 2020, 09:04:55 AM
For people who does not have enough income to live a comfortable life, we try to find ways to end the struggle, we take big risk to gain big rewards so if we will be successful, we don't need to work anymore and just enjoy the rest of our life doing the things that we can't do due to lack of money.

are you one of the people who dream like this?

Depending on luck to succeed in life is something I won't advice any individual to do, most people see successful individuals and immediately think they were lucky not realizing it takes opportunity plus preparation to profit from the opportunity life offers. Two individuals can come across the same opportunity but get different result because one was prepared for that opportunity while the other wasn't.

The risk associated with Investing can't be compared to that of gambling, both are risk but while that of Investing is a calculated risk, that of gambling is just mare been optimistic with no assurances. Gambling should be more of a side hustle or avenue to catch fun and not blueprint to achieve financial freedom.

Personally I haven't dreamt about achieving my financial freedom through gambling, something ago, when I was activitely involved in gambling, I created a plan to reinvest any profit from my gambling profit because I never believed in been productive with money gotten from gambling.
