^  Is the replacement any better tho?  I'm seriously asking...  I have no idea who or how good he is tbqh.  And it seems like Barca has still been looking for a proper Pep replacement.  Lol.
5982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 15, 2020, 12:15:25 PM
^  Meh.  Rooting for McGregor to win by KO...  The UFC would only be a lot more exciting that way.  Grin  And is it just me or is the prospect of a rematch vs Khabib starting to look interesting again...?

Here's part two of Embedded.

Here's another one:  TRX

Why:  Cos I hold a bag.  Cheesy

But seriously...  The volume's better than most alts and it has been consistently among the top 10 in volume at CMC.  So it could trend up longer.  No P&D shenanigans cos it's harder to do due to high volume.
5984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The TRX Speculation and Info Thread on: January 14, 2020, 04:11:53 PM
TRX is breaking out vs USD but it's still sucking vs BTC.  I will post TRX/BTC charts as soon as it starts breaking out vs that too.  If...

It's holding on you guys...  And this is the part when it gets iffy.  The guys who missed getting in would tend to get emotional and start buying at market causing more people to do the same.

Just be calm and wait.  If there's a good time to do a little dip buying, it's now.
5986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 14, 2020, 03:28:06 PM
^  I was about to post that.  Grin

UFC 246 Embedded: Vlog Series - Episode 1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZZZtRvb8yQ

Notice how everything shown in McGregor's latest vids is him always training in wrestling .  We could see something new at the event imo.

McGregor by submission..?  Lolol.  It's at 36 at 5Dimes.
5987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 14, 2020, 03:20:26 PM

To be honest, I didn't expect them to get beaten so badly. I originally had them down at 0-1 but then changed it to 2. I thought it would be a lot closer. Villa are now in the relegation zone and Watford's win took them out of it. I didn't expect them to win so easily either but seems like I was in the minority as most went for the away win. The Watford/Spurs game next week should be interesting. Could be close so I'll probably go for the draw. Not optimistic about next's weeks games though as there's many that I can't split and have provisionally gone for mostly draws but I'll probably change many after a bit of research. I'm sure some will come in but can't afford to back them all as draws and did pretty badly last time I did that.
Really tough call on the next round of pics! Not just the Watford v sours match ...

Watford v Spurs - tough , tough call . Watford 13pts in last 5 matches !!!
Arsenal v Sheffield United - no idea on this one !
Brighton v Aston Villa - anything could happen here !
Norwich v Bournemouth - 2 teams with the worst form in the league !
Southampton v Wolves - 2 teams that have flipped their form !
West Ham v Everton - 2 new managers and no idea how this will go !

Kudos to the winner of next weeks yellow cap , as they definitely know their football !

I'd still pick Tottenham.  I mean the decent clubs Watford went against in their last 5 were Lol_United and an inconsistent Wolves.

Gunners vs Sheffield United:  First impression, draw.

Brighton.

When in doubt, pick the club playing at home.  Norwich.

Hasenhuttl and Ings.

Everton.

Edit:  These are just my picks at first glance.

^  The United board prolly realized they needed a rebuild all along.  It's not the manager, it's...  Ed Woodward!  Lmao.  He needs to be taken away from club player transfers and anything that has anything to do with the squad.
5989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 13, 2020, 03:59:10 PM
^  And Pep and squad prolly mad.  See what they did to Aston Villa?  They're pulling out all the stops and run everybody over.  Lolol.

Eriksen is very close to Inter according to "LaGazzettaDelloSport"

5 years for 7.5m €/year.

Meh he could get a better deal if this what will happen

https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Inter/11-01-2020/eriksen-inter-c-l-accordo-ora-si-tratta-il-tottenham-36014987452.shtml

He’s a good player, I think he could join a better team than Inter but hey, what do I know.
Manchester United choose bruno fernandes from sporting lisbon over eriksen , he has not much option to choose , inter milan is the best choice available.

Anyways is it normal to contract a player with age of 27 for 5 years term? For a superstar like eden hazard I guess that's normal, but eriksen? Tell me something.

They prolly thought it was a good deal and his resell value could rise under Conte.  He could also become Inter's bargaining chip (plus cash) for a super star.  Wink
5991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 13, 2020, 03:36:30 PM
Now the most talked name for being Barcelona coach is Pochetino who was a player of Espanyol and two years ago when asked if he would ever train Barcelona he responded that he would better continue with Tottenham or he would better take care of his farm in Argentina rather than train Barcelona.I am waiting to see his final response.

And doesn't Barca hire managers who only have been with the club as players?  Isn't it some sort of tradition for them?
5992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The TRX Speculation and Info Thread on: January 12, 2020, 04:22:05 PM
Announcement of an announcement made about some 'secret project' that involves Bittorrent, DLive and possibly BTFS.  Words like 'multi billion benefits' and 'attract at least 100m users' were mentioned.  Lol.

Oh and there was something about disrupting Twitch, Periscope, Netflix and YT...  Sounds good but I'm pretty sure the announcement will be underwhelming (again).  Sorry guys.
5993  Economy / Speculation / Re: My Bitcoin Speculation Thread. Please Critique my Analysis. ;) on: January 12, 2020, 04:13:08 PM
^  It's been looking good so far...  It was sold down a bit but then held those recent gainzzz.  Maybe a little dip buying could start being a good idea.
5994  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think is a good sustainable % to make from day trading? on: January 12, 2020, 04:06:15 PM
If you day trade Bitcoin/USD, through ups and downs in the market, what do you think is a good percentage of your total trading stash to make on a daily basis over a long period of time?

You just can't say.  Expect a lot of swings and there def will be times when you lose for longer stretches than anticipated.

All you can do is manage your losses well (keep 'em small) and let the wins sort themselves out (depending on volatility).
5995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 12, 2020, 02:31:49 PM
Ehh, guys, what the hell is up with Southampton?  Cheesy  Not too long ago they were sitting at the bottom of the league table, now they're playing like Cruyff's Netherlands in the 70's!??  Tongue They beat Chelsea, they beat Spurs, and now Leicester. Impressive. And Danny 'the goalscoring machine' Ings, what a beast!

I didn't watch the game but, looking at the stats, that win wasn't a fluke, looks to me like the Saints absolutely trashed the Foxes! I wonder what were the odds for such a win? 5/1? 7/1?

Yup.  Hasenhuttl is a decent manager and did a great job on getting Ings back in form.  Klopp should've given him more time after his injury imho.

Anyway...  Looks like I'm one of the wooden spoon candidates this week.  Lolol.
5996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 12, 2020, 02:25:07 PM
^  Let's start a prop bet on where Pogba's likely destination is this summer...  If I win some BTC at the EPL or the CL pool let's do it.  I'll take on multiple people for small bets.  Grin
5997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 12, 2020, 02:20:33 PM
^  That's like what...  Two matches out of how many?  And were they even outright 'predictions' or some sort of what they 'think might' happen.  I think it's more of the latter.

I do it sometimes too.  Make forecasts...  They're fun.  Wink
5998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 11, 2020, 01:29:21 PM
^  He doesn't make any predictions tho?  He just breaks down each fighter based on past performance and tries to visualize the match.  That's pretty much it.  And he's good at it.
5999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker talk - Specifically Hold'em - Hands and or strategy on: January 11, 2020, 01:23:19 PM
Without any solid reads and I assume the antes hasn't kicked in yet..?  I'd jam or fold pf but leaning towards a fold if there are no antes and if villain is on the tight side.  Lean towards jamming with antes.

As played, iffy spot.  He'd be playing perfectly vs you if you jam (folding worse, calling better).
Thanks for playing lol. So I did forget to mention the ante would be equivalent to 1 BB, and this is made up of a smaller ante from each player... I only found out a few months back it's common for a BB to pay the full ante at times.

I was fairly new to this table and 2 or 3 hands ago this guy got coolered he had QQ, and player to his right had KK. He was pissed, calling him out in Chat and stuff "Of Course the German wakes up with KK, WTF" I had a good laugh.

I'm guessing you meant preflop "pf" or is that post flop?? So the way it played out the villain was limping and really risked not getting the value from their premium hand... they had AA. I definitely didn't put them on a pocket pair of any significance with how passive they played the overall hand.

The point in the tourney was final 15 players I believe I was 8th or 9th at the time. I did finish in the money still, nothing big. I also had a little troll and said "Of course the American wakes up with Aces" couldn't resist. I was essentially crippled and made my stand with 9 10 of Diamonds and was called down by JQ suited and lost.

Yup pf is preflop.  Anyway you lost me at the rest of your post.  Lol.  You said at the hand history the villain minraised, now he limped pf?

Weekly sweepstake entry, any thoughts?

Spurs v Liverpool           1-2  0-2
Bournemouth v Watford  0-1
Villa v City               0-2 0-3

*bold is the Im leaning towards  one*

0 - 2
1 - 1
0 - 3

That's just me and that's what I picked at our pool.  Maybe you should join us next season.  Wink
