Hi. In December 2012 I registered to join a website that no longer exists. The site charged 1 bitcoin for membership.
I had no idea at he time what a bitcoin was! Anyway I made my way through the purchase and bought a few coins, maybe 3 or 5 I can't remember.
How can I track down these coins? I can't remember where I bought them or anything!!
Help!
Depends - did you use an online wallet or bitcoin-QT? If you used bitcoin-QT, check all your computers if you still have it. If it was on something like blockchain, search everywhere, but if you forgot your password, your screwed :O

Nah, you're telling me with an investment of $50, he can get that much back in a month? You're a crazy hero member ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Oh, but wait... I didn't say anything about investing $50. Assuming the hardware he has lying around (his CPU, graphics card, etc) has a total speed of at least 100Kh/s (scrypt mining), he can make ~$50/month without investing $50. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FiVaEmXA.png&t=663&c=8m1btaYVLO1uXw) As of right now (at current difficulty), 100Kh/s will mine you nearly 1.5 LTC (a little over $50). You can trade those Litecoin for ~0.05+ Bitcoin. But to answer your question: No, I am not crazy. I've just been around for a few years and know a thing or two about making profits. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I only assumed that a teenager only looking to deposit $50 USD into something like bitcoin wouldn't want to damage his GPU mining hardware, in which I doubt he has.

So, let me get this straight:
He made you sign up to this pathetic little towngame which is boring as hell He promised to pay said btc if you reach a certain level?
lol
Really, it's not a bad game.. I'm making like a dollar a day just by playing a few minutes each time I login, every day. Don't hate. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

wow,
You guys are a bunch of cynics.
Obviously I have no idea if this person was legit. In any case his attempt at getting someone from the forum to help him was a bad idea. He should have simply contacted a family member in europe or something.
But finally, his scheme was actually quite valid. Since the opportunity no longer exists I can tell you that.
My uncle did this and made a few thousand dollars with no effort. There was a solid 300 dollars per coin price difference. So you buy 10 bitcoins from bitstamp sell them at this website and you make 3 thousand dollars. No joke.
I am not telling you that you should have done it. Probably you shouldn't have, since he has no trust rating, whatsoever. But it is still rather pathetic that you make fun of the guy, while his scheme was actually valid.
His scheme is so great that us humans can do it ourselves ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) If he has such a "golden" idea, why would he want to share it? It's obvious that he can't put his money in it. Why doesn't the government put a billion dollars into this, can get some high interests? It'll work, right?

just now 1.49 BTC was stolen from me. this is why bitcoin is not safe.
my account was on blockchain. i had a very long password with randomized characters letters capital and so own. i had google authenticator. and yet they compromised 1.49 btc(all my bitcoins)
im fuking sad. i feel lik the bitcoin world spit me out like a loser.....
What you wanted to say is how dangerous bitcoin can be when their owners are not careful. It sounds like you downloaded some crazy shit, and got a key-logger on your computer. That's the fault of your own./ It seems that he entered his username and password in a phishing site. Doesn't matter in how many accounts he is using the same pass. That... is pretty fucking stupid.

Your first DoX is free or 1 BTC? I think that you should search for satoshi, as a test DoX ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) yeh nice idea... find out who satoshi is. Find who satoshi is, then you'll get very good business, trust me. Can't wait to hear the results!

I also PM'd Stunna about this. I have the same signature as last month and I got paid, but I'm not sure whether this is according the rules. Stunna has approved my signature earlier (last month), but I asked for a personal approvement again. Please clarify this Stunna, as we don't want unhappy BitcoinTalk members ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yeah, DiamondCardz also had a lot of ads. Anyways, I'm just wondering as for I want to post a few non-paid ads too ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Also, @OP, the site looks ok, a peerbet layout clone, huh? :O
I developed Peerbet initially, therefore design could look so close ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I thought of buy-in as a minimum deposit, not as a minimum bet, no need to attack me. Could the OP confirm this?
Deposits will be opened after few days when all critical bugs fixed. Minimum deposit amount is 0.0005 BTC (its a Blockchain.info limit that used as payment processor). The auto feature seems kinda cool, hopefully you can have some giveaways in order to attract more players.
I give away free credits on Daily Bitcoins. Also if you are fast enough, take one of these 0.01 mBTC vouchers! d55766055b1a7d62a9d7837f1c1609c3 be0f4468604abea861f15a703c6b6979 666015711a7aa62b7edac6410a2e4547 28412941dabdb5e084fcb2f4bb126265 57f2748c4270c548acfbe47eda319744 0d5291a168125b29f17e7ef26331c13a 4c1947b5b8ed76087718341866adabdf 3fc6da4e149ca4295e3e33fb391111ad 4616f0d3f4d82150d5058f509c5fd209 9e58b3e03d3fc4be2680b6cd9139ba37 d7c17cd00aa986d91c027028553fd89d 0fdf5054c0f3de5d0d5abcfdd7eef2a5 5b099edbeae2b8bab6db055c38be4f90 acd5ac51ddb29c5f376f45add2db1af0 09dfd512455ece5f602235e2d1d65261 5cef309af44679d578d15183507ea38f aaa4ca05d14129c9b44b1f2e0a1ab235 8209e444544d970118333f40bac54ef5 2df8c06eaadf147b70fe8dadf5296b20 981f97cc8500e2e592d640282802011a 8cda6cb244439e41eeac0776bc588a30 7b529485cf262a013d084c0fc7f17916 8537aaad8ef3d0376b409c4006fd2c60 973ee15398ef7cc941797e9f1f6de975 61e601cb2f8427727bb6df39f196b341 38d56c392d9abe4d377123377989c858 d9c144bdfcfbd8d6c3a87120d98674ca feb74150903156718bf7c6737f738b95 0210b7da8ba0b15388c88993316f477c 555aff71971232ba9f9f04dc3d7b2bf0 dd020d6adcf6941c22b2abf63c459866 958d531fbdefb0abb9d07b6db4629046 80acd8e06bb78d42bccc08bb29329f1e a3b939944eea1dd0060ee5b71a12a1ea 261945dcb90dd61656542ebb8ecedee1 e32c59221318e8b1d6a7310bf9931d74 5a693d620fa08b75bbc440af1c6f631c 697c1da399f6acb838827aa44207b5ed 12b7c7161a63265f461a27fd3e760743 99ca078bf7dd9c0a1b3952b043d39bfe a5bfee2aad8c28f71040c5ec96d3c015 ffb0cff015b8def85a231bf0202aedf7 c496dfad90ad717f392eb62a54e0b050 d425aa686890fd4d21ef48dc4353d730 f2b42f396631e9bf7b449ee619479506 1deaa6cf16445e89c5967ddf99c9cf9c d74509709c05be2568369465d818003b 06b0d7da71e517fb9384ccf765a6a37a af2d92d5d4b31fe2d4278d209a638311 454caefd35d470570fdfc1ceaa3d3cdc

Try mining. Mine alt coins and trade them in for Bitcoin. Depending on your hardware, you could probably get 0.05 BTC worth before the end of the month.
Nah, you're telling me with an investment of $50, he can get that much back in a month? You're a crazy hero member ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Are you trying to pay through paypal?

Confirmed scammer.... scammed me out of BTC.364 He logs in every day... and still owes me a $450 amazon card...
DON'T TRADE WITH ESADEE!!
when did u sent him ? maybe hacked account ... Doesn't matter if it's a hacked account or not, this user looks like he's trying to take as much money as he can before running away. I warn every user to be cautious when trading with him, I'd suggest not trading at all.

REMINDER: OP LOGS IN EVERYDAY BUT DIDN'T POST FOR 5 DAYS
A scammer for sure. Nah, we can't be for sure. I am pretty sure that he'll end up busting everyone, but I still want to say this in advance TOLD YOU SO!

I never was paid on the 17th or any time.
BOGUS!
-Branzig.
why is this bogus many receiving payments from Stunna and why you have nothing just send him PM on 17 and all ok Stunna, is it ok if I have a link to my personal site?
I think that rules talking about competetive sites in signature, so I'm 99% sure that you can have your site there! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) yes this is ok as he is saying many time no 3rd party ads personal ok Nope, Stunna clearly states you are not allowed. You may not advertise any other sites/threads. This includes non-paid for advertisements. You may include other non advertising related. Eg. a quote, your Bitcoin address etc. I think I may be breaking the rules too then, Stunna, do you mind clarifying?
