There is an update in the MEW twitter regarding this problem and the team was working on it. It will be resolved asap. But i just found another thread that has been discussing this problem. The reason I just posted this immediately because I didn't want to risk wasting a few more minutes in finding a similar post, as you may know, this is really really important and a 5 minute difference could potentially prevent a single (or multiple) investor for being screwed. Sure, I was understood about that. That's why I appreciate this thread. Because I have known that not so many people are actively watching the latest update regarding what already happened or mainly to visit the official twitter account of myetherwallet. Just checked now, the link is true, green status, the certificate is valid. Perhaps this is danger for some countries.
If I use an extension like Metamask or loaded site MEW on my hard drive, is this safe in this case?

For eth to hit $2k within 2 months , there should be a huge FOMO. I dont know at the moment what on world could create it. Its highly unlikely that it will happen within the next 2 months, maybe 6-7 months

Still a half from the ATH of market capitalization last year. I agree, but for some reasons, i said no. Do not use myetherwallet.com if you're using Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) at this moment, it seems these DNS servers are resolving the domain to a bad server that CAN steal your keys!

Why don't hold both of them? I prefer invest 70% of your investment fund in Eth and other invest in Bitcoin because I'm sure that both of them have a good price in the future  Ethereum looks better consider from the latest chart it has gained more than bitcoin in latest 24 hours. ethereum gets around almost 10 percent return in a day compared with bitcoin which only less than 5 percent and ethereum definitely gives better return than bitcoin. |

Of course, There is nothing happened with bticoin cash but this caused by the movement of the bitcoin and that makes the majority of altcoins are going to the moon today. it looks like caused by the trend of crypto will be very bullish until the end of this year i guees. |

Coinomi, or you can try to use bitcoin core wallet(downloading the blockchain is needed). I guess coinomi looks become the best choice for you because you will able to take the privatekey from your coinomi wallet and as far as i know coinomi was supporting every fork coin in various blockchain. |

Seems to me that IDEX is a good choice. They have tokens which you can buy and market cap is small right now.
Other project that i know about is 0x. You can check that also, it looks promising
Idex is the only best choice right now. 0x doesn't even have the same volume as idex. That means there is no demand to use 0x protocol. People are looking for friendly dex to make the users will be more easily to access the platform. Idex is very simple in my opinion. |

There must definately be an issue somewhere, otherwise, the hacker couldnt have had access to your account. Maybe you entered your private key into a phishing site, or someone closer to you, had access to them. But right now, there is nothing you can do about it.
Phishing sites of course,the hacker wont know his keys not unless he save it in his computer,or some email addresses because these hackers can do everything,no system is safe which is why sooner or later someone might crack the cryptocurrencies.He could use metamask extension to block those phishing sites,or he could use some hardwallets. The possible thing to be happened with OP is getting trap into the fake site and malware. Metamas already released extension to the chrome to give filer to the scam or suspicious site. If the amount was in the MEW wallet and it's not possible to use email as a way to get the privatekey. The only possible thing to send the suspicious link. |

it is not decentralized ?? haha , seriously !! also your sentce not giving proper meaning . it is completely decentralized exchange . etherdelta was hacked but forkdelta have completely different team . they only share common contract address . pushing phishing can be happened with any exchange . ED gets hacked on the DNS that has already replaced by scammer to redirect the users to the scammer's site. It looks like he just another newbie without any knowledge about that. Just don't take it seriously. He needs more lesson to understand what decentralized is. |

this is also my concern, look at Kyper or 0x, they are good but no volume. We cannot deny that most dex is for technical ones while the volume is coming from public. But in the future, if there will be some hacks on centralized exchange, then people may move to dex one for safe When is the token sale, I didn't qualify for the token sale and looking at the high demand for ICO, it could do 2x easily when listed on the exchange, but the issue I have here is that only few tokens were listed on NEO platform so how are they going to be able to compete with centralise exchanges interms of trading volume
Honestly, Idex was performing even better than kyber or 0x. Look at switcheo, and it has no demand at all. It will be useless to build a decentralized exchange in the platform that has no a lot of need to use it. The developer just seeing an opportunity to raised the money without thinking about the future prospect of the platform. |

Well that didn't really turned out to be good news since xvg was doing pretty fine before they announced that partnership. One look at how verge is doing now shows that many didn't approve of it though :p So many people don't even read the latest drop of verge and keep spamming by hit and run. The worst partnership ever because the majority of holders and including me was expecting big announcement to support the future adoption of verge but the fact a partnership with useless site. |

This could be the precedent to many more countries slowly accepting cryptocurrencies. However i'm afraid that Australia is not alone nor is the first in this endeavor.
Japan, Germany, and even Switzerland have all previously started regulating and being friendly towards bitcoin. The article states Australia is the 14th largest country with crypto volume but it fails to consider Japan, Germany, Switzerland, or other countries that do more.

I guess the regulation is about to give the control for the government over the cryptocurrency. As the cryptocurrency based on the decentralized network that built by so many nodes that integrated one to each other and that makes government will be difficult to control them all directly. I don't see anything wrong in KYC, I understand that the owners of multiaccounts and the adolescent are not happy about this procedure at all, but nobody promised that everything would be comfortable and anonymous all the time.
Using KYC is not wrong, it is for security that no one will cheat of having multiple accounts but as a student, we have problems with the use of it because some requirements for the verification, we actually do not have, which make us no pay at the end of the campaign. We are struggle where to find valid ID, billing, business permits etc., because we are dependent with our parents. KYC will be big problem to us if every campaign required that. The problem is when the developer gives a lot of requirements to complete the KYC progress just like you must provide your passport, ID, Bill and many more at the same time to prove if you are from or have the same address. Not all of people can fill all of the requirements and if they can't pass all of requirements and they can get their payment. |

Altcoins could provide opportunities for a fast returns. Real properties may be a good investment but would take time before one will be able to gain unlike these coins when so lucky you could earn so easily, the only disadvantage is when market is down loses is also possible.
