Here's what it might look like:

5982  Other / Off-topic / Interstellar Imaging Radar on: March 05, 2015, 08:30:53 PM
I've been reading about the exciting possibility of building an interstellar imaging radar transmitter for imaging the surfaces of all the extra solar planets found recently. I'm wondering if Bitcoin could help fund this mega-project?

It would be simply be a matter of cutting some asteroids into blocks and building a sphere as a base for a 3 gigawatt transmitter dish.

I wonder if I can interest them in a Black Arrow X-3 pre-order it's guaranteed to be unprofitable. The best part is it ships next week so they can expect new and unused hardware.

FYI

While streaming Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) I had CGMiner 4.9.1 close & exit twice while mining at solo.ckpool.org, I switched pools to bitcoind running locally and it's been going without exiting for about 30 mins now. I'm running the Windows build of CGMiner and it had been running for about 24 hours and only started crashing while watching the movie.

I haven't seen this behavior before, I just upgraded the miner to CGMiner from BFGMiner yesterday.

You've clearly run into that rare incompatibility between CGMiner, Windows and the streaming of a bad horror video on the same wifi network.  Such unwelcome bandwidth harmonics only affects CGMiner 4.7 and higher.  It is recommended that you downgrade CGMiner or switch back to BFGMiner immediately, or upgrade to Linux.

And count yourself lucky it wasn't a good horror movie.  I bricked a whole stack of S4's binge-watching the Saw movies that way!

I streamed one of the Superman animated movies (low res off YouTube) last night and all the eruptors lit up again. I alt-tabbed out of full-screen to find the system had ground to halt, I even had no mouse action for a few seconds and CGMiner complained about lack of work but it didn't crash like while mining at solo.ckpool.org.

Hi Black Arrow,

Thank you for having my best interest in mind. If it's not too much trouble I'd like to ask how much longer do you plan on delaying my order as it's currently a year past due and the product is now obsolete and practically worthless?

Regards,

I've been doing some research and I may have found the root cause of the zombie apocalypse and it's sugar. Not only is sugar bad, it's worse than you can imagine.

"As of 2011, at least six types of synthetic sugars have been shown to form nucleic acid backbones that can store and retrieve genetic information" -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xeno_nucleic_acid

"These systems [XNA] can be used to create novel peptides and proteins [including symmetrical structures] that offer enhanced activities or even completely new properties over their natural protein counterparts. Furthermore, many artificially engineered nucleic acids and proteins have found useful applications as biosensors, diagnostic agents, and therapeutic drugs." -- http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3562584/

It's a good thing we live in a world where the folks who can afford to develop this technology are all honest folks.

Can anybody explain this dog?

Which African country will go first?

Isn't there enough scammers and thieves to deal with already without the wolves of Wall Street adding to the problem? These guys 'll make MK look like a petty thief.

I didn't directly say you deserve to be scammed. However, if you look in this forum and there is only a whole page of blackarrow or whatever theards it is really annoying. Now it is fine.
If they scammed you sue them.

(CNN) - In 1971, a physicist conceptualized the existence of a fourth fundamental element in the electronic circuit, besides the three that were already in use at the time.

His name was Leon Chua and he believed -- for reasons of symmetry -- that an extra component could one day be constructed to join the resistor, the capacitor and the inductor.

He called it "memristor", a portmanteau of the words memory and resistor.

Who'll be the first to announce a Memristor tapeout date?

Resistors have inductance and capacitance, capacitors have resistance and inductance and inducers have capacitance and resistance. It's just a matter of what properties are maximized and which ones are minimized. Can't say I see any "groundbreaking" technology in that article.

What if this is the afterlife? Reincarnation is a popular belief.
