In some ways its a -ev conversation since teaching fish to understand statistics is teaching the fundamentals.  The fact is people have voodoo in their thought processes even without knowing it.  The way we look at the cards is the engine that runs this game we love so much.

Facts:

1. Pseudo random numbers will produce hole cards, flops turns and rivers which over a reasonable sample size will show the expected distribution.  I would bet 10BTC against the idea that analysis of enough data from hands at seals would show abnormal distribution.  If someone is interested in this I will detail ,y terms.

2. SWC stands to make shittons of money even charging as reasonable a rake as they do.  It is in their best interest to provide the fairest environment possible to their regulars and recreational players.  Nothing is really more important than trust for them.  The client etc all come in second at best.

3.  There are surely many many thousands of dollars (possible understatement) being held in wallets by seals.  If they wanted an unethical payday they would disappear with that money.  They have not done this.

As a player at seals for well over a year, I can vouch for the quality of the people running it.  They have earned my trust.  And as I said... To my analysis the distribution of cards is absolutely normal.

We will see this phenomenon when the price is near 200, though not as much most likely. Historically it happened around 10.

I agree with your sentiment in general. But I make a conscious exception here.

First of all Rigtards are so stupid nothing you say can help them.  I've witnessed this for years, and I'd bet you have too.  There is no tapping the tank with them really. They just get madder and madder.

More importantly, Seals is as honest a poker site as I have seen.  If fish want to say stupid fishy shit away from the table thats fine.  But I find bringing Seals reputation into question in public , indeed I'm the seals thread here, unacceptable.

So in this case I would like to point out to the intelligent beginners reading this thread that this site is honest. The RNG is good and the hands play fair.

Period.

1.  Lol at the bolded.

2.  I, a mediocre poker player, have made a nice bankroll playing the lowest stakes at seals and before that betco.  If its rigged how have I slowly won for over two years on btc poker and years before that at stars and ftp?

3.  You'll never believe it, but if it were rigged we'd notice.  I have enough hand histories to demonstrate exactly the distribution you'd expect.

Bottom line you're a loser and need to learn the game.  I'd love if you'd stay.

As someone who can personally  remember a drug addled burnout state very similar to what dank is in currently, it is easy for me to recognize the sort of tortured logic he enjoys.  He is fortunate and also unfortunate to be an optimist. I am like him. Many of my buddies were not.

As a glass half full guy I made the same kinds of joyous misconnections about things like breaking lamps or running on empty before running out of gas.  My more negative friends would sort of see darkness everywhere instead.  Ironically they were able to stop destroying their ability to think clearly earlier as it was less fun.  The trap for a guy like dank is to actually believe he is finding some subjective truth and continue this destructive path long enough for too much water to have gone under the bridge to find a clear way back.

He wouldn't be the first pitiful ruined burnout ever produced by LSD, MDMA, and the likes.  And the chances are fairly good he ends up addicted to one of the more difficult to quit drugs like meth, opiates, or even just good old alcohol before the journey ends.

I wish I could help him... But in his current frame of mind he can only hear me as negative not the 45 year old man who has gained some bit of wisdom over the years...

Read some.. Will read more later.  700 miles would take a car of kids trading shifts more like 10 hrs not 30. They avg 23mph that way.
