Westbrook needs that team which doesn't have a star. Try Charlotte. Grin

Charlotte already acquired Rozier from Boston. So I doubt that they will get Westbrook as well. Even if they did, two starting guards, and knowing how Westbrook play and decision making, I'm sure the two will also clash.  Grin. I think it will be a terrible decision.

He just posts a selfie on twitter.
"2 weeks to go."
Wow the guy is not laughing anymore.

Thanks for the share. But I read someone commented about the weight disparity specially during the fight. Not familiar with the fight clause though, to someone who know about the clause, are they are rehydration included in the clause?

As far as I can remember, Manny usually goes around 150-155 lbs during fight. If Thurman goes re hydrate around 160 lbs or more, do you think he will be at a disadvantage? will it matter if he is the bigger, heavier fighter?
5983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 07, 2019, 12:00:08 AM
Just saw some highlights of Kyrgrios vs Nadal.
Kyrgrios keeps making my day with his behaviour  Grin. Was a quite close match, 2 tiebreaks also, which shows what a talent Kyrgrios has!

Yes, he have great talent but never made some great result consistent with his talent.
Obviously something is missing, either will, perseverance, severity, or something else.
It was considered that he could replace three giants of world tennis, what a pity.

Right, he had the potential to be on the top 5 or top 3 if not for his attitude and mentality towards the game. He is branded as the bad boy of tennis, and true to be told, he acts like that.

He is very inconsistent and very unpredictable. But I will throw may hats onto him for giving Nadal a good match though, was close but not enough.

Do you think Kawhi should be called the GOAT if he wins another title in a different team?
That will be his third team and if he does win this question will really pop out.
He deserved that title if he would able to make that team to either get into finals or get that championship trophy on

next season and with those line up are definitely the defensive ones with corresponding good offensive too.
West powerhouse teams are scattering on the field,we are all surprised how these rosters is possible.

I'm sorry to disagree. Him being the greatest of all time just because he won another ring with a team?

He is an elite basketball player but I would not consider him the greatest yet. He did accomplished a lot already, and he needs more if he wanted to be the "G-O-A-T".
5985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 04, 2019, 01:57:09 PM

This is just sad.

Not because of Curry's effort to go to China to meet Durant, its because he respects Durant's decision. If you all will be reading the article, Curry went to China not to talk about his decision but it is his respect to Durant. These two made the Warriors great with their teammates, I think it is really natural for a great teammate to spend some time, some last times before saying their goodbyes as teammates.
I can project the attitude of Steph. He's a real teammate and he gives value to KD and I guess it's also for his other teammates but it's not just publicized.
Change is constant for everything and these two will be part of the Golden State Warriors history streak.

I think it's pretty obvious that Curry did take a back seat when Durant join the Warriors. He didn't mind that because both of them are chasing for the ring, so yes, he is a real team mate, in and out of the court.

Time to move on then, they have separated in a good and professional manner. I don't know about Green though, he was vocal about Durant will leave the team and they have clash inside the court. But being professional, for sure it's nothing personal.
5986  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: POSSIBLE TIME AND PERIOD OF THE YEAR TO TRADE on: July 03, 2019, 03:47:38 AM
It doesn't follow any pattern at all. Investors just come and go, whether what season it is. And that is why this market is really volatile because individuals are being suckered every minute.

So if you are willing to enter today and just wait, it really doesn't matter as there are thousands or even million traders who will continue, whether what year or season we have.
5987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 03, 2019, 03:36:17 AM

Looks like this fight needs some more hype.

In every Pacquaio's PPV match here provided by my Cable company, the average price is around $25-$30.

On July 21 fight, the price is just ranging to $18-$20. What just happened.

Or probably wanted the price to be cheap so that there average boxing fans can buy PPV?

Or it's just Thurman is not a household name even in the US, that's why they can't command high PPV because the US fighter is just the B-side on this fight? Although initially he is favored by we don't know, as we get closer, the odds could shift to Manny.
5988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It costs less to mine gold than it does to mine Bitcoin on: July 02, 2019, 01:47:49 AM
But it is also very expensive just to buy gold right?

But the main point here is how are you going to profit? If mining gold cost less then I'm sure your profit will be less as well.

As compare to bitcoin wherein you need a lot of computing power to mine, but in the long run the rewards are very fulfilling as it might give you a better ROI than gold.
5989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos can use AI to get additional edge? on: June 23, 2019, 10:16:57 PM
I did observed some games like roulette wherein it looks like the casinos or maybe AI, when they see the pattern of your bets, you won't see success as it used to be. Of course there is almost the edge, but I don't know, see this many times when I'm playing that's why when I had a good run I will simply stop. At least I have won a few and move on the next game.
5990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe? on: June 23, 2019, 10:08:48 PM
It has surpassed another mental barrier now, $300 so I'm sure that we are all breathing a sign of relieve that ETH is also making a good run. But still we are like 60% from it's previous all-time-high so this is just baby steps.

However, this year alone, crypto is alive and lively, we thought that $300 is not possible this year, but look at where is the price right now. A good $500-$600 at the end of the year is not that bad and then 2020 we will reach another all-time-high.
5991  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: June 17, 2019, 10:34:48 PM
I don't know, but what we are seeing is the 2013-2015 pattern. So we will see what's going to happen next. I believed that the next block halving is the catalyst for a massive growth in 2020-2021.

But for now we have to compare it to 2013-2015, I know that past performance is not a indication of future success but they are somewhat similar at this point.

5992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I saw the notice that Bitcoin surpassed 9.000 USD! Help about "FOMO" on: June 17, 2019, 10:12:15 PM
Awww, the first rule here is that you don't ask for financial advises, because we don't have the crystal ball to see what the future bring.

Second, bitcoin investment has risk involved, very big risk, are you willing to take that risk. The price won't go on a parabolic rise, so you know.

Third, you're in the FOMO, that's dangerous, those who FOMO in 2017 learn a hard and expensive lessons, just saying.

Two injured in shooting during Toronto Raptors' NBA celebration

Quote
Two people are in custody after a shooting was reported Monday during the Toronto Raptors' NBA Championship celebration, Toronto Police said.
Police said they located two victims with injuries that are "serious but not life threatening."
Two firearms were also recovered and emergency responders are on the scene, police said.

Too much celebration for Toronto? I don't know if this is the first time we heard such celebrations involving shooting in a NBA championship celebration.

Anthony Davis joining Lebron James in Lakers, but the Lakers have depleted most of its core team. The two can't do it, they need more A side players to join the party plus B players who are willing to sacrifice and contribute day in day out.
5994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 10, 2019, 05:20:47 PM
They say that any kind of Durant is very much welcome to play in game 5 in the Finals, he might be the savior. I am not a fan of KD but for sure the Warriors badly needed him now as he can change the complexion of the game, he can be a morale booster to his team mates.

From -3.5, now down to -1.5 Raptors, that means Durant will play, as for the Warriors fans, this is a good news as their hope is now alive.

But I don't think that Kevin Durant can turn the series over. And I do hope that he makes the right decision to play in the next game. I mean is he 100% heal from this injury? Or he just want to play and contribute?

But at the end of the day, all his efforts is not enough to win the trophy for the Golden State Warriors? Maybe its really the time for Toronto Raptors to have their first championship this year. And not even the great Kevin Durant will stop that destiny to happen to the Raptors.
5995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If india bans Cryptocurrency as per the draft law, What happens to the community on: June 10, 2019, 05:15:20 PM
If the ban gets passed then it will be a big blow in the market and it can slip down. Because this law is very strict and dealing in cryptocurrency after the law passed will be like dealing drugs. So who ever going to try to work for crypto currency will be doing illegal work. So i think 90% of them will stop working for cryptocurrency. Which also will be good if the law is not permitting to work on cryptocurrency then better to leave it. I am just waiting that they pass on some other law and give some rules and regulation to work on cryptocurrency.

But I don't think it will have a lasting effect on the market price. Remember there are lots of news coming from China in 2017 around September, yes it dampen the market but it didn't stop bitcoin from reaching its ATH in December 2017.

One think is still confusing as Indian government proposes to ban and give 10yrs of imprisonment but same time they are thinking of introducing their own coin to be released. How is it going to work as they are banning the users to not work on crypto currency and other side you are introducing your own coin. How the users are going to use it when it is banned

We haven't seen any crypto back by government being successful. So I'm expecting that it's a wrong move by the Indian government to ban and at the same time have their own cryptocurrencies. Crypto enthusiast are well too smart and knows what the government is trying to pull at, (high taxes, centralisation).
5996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain for voting on: June 06, 2019, 04:01:17 PM
Firstly, I don't know any countries that implement blockchain technology in their voting system and they still prefer bad companies like Smartmatic. And there are a lot of problems when it comes to the voting system of our country. They say that blockchain can stop tampering of information but it won't solve problems. But I think blockchain can lessen some of the big problems in these voting systems.

I guess we need to look at how the infrastructure is being set-up in your country. I don't know how many times your country has been using this services, but it seems they need to be replace by someone so that these kind of problems will be eliminated.

I'm all in for blockchain to be used in election, as long as the government is prepared and not just because they just wanted to ride the hype around this technology, specially developing countries.
5997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 06, 2019, 03:55:00 PM
It is so weird to see warriors losing in a final series at 2-1 and still being the favorites by clear margins. Raptors managed to beat warriors twice but in the first one they had home court plus no Durant and in the second one warriors missed both klay and Durant.

This fourth game is very vital and they may try to rush Klay and Durant back, I don't know if it will happen or not, I don't know if Durant will return or even Klay but if they both do come back then warriors will have an easy win and the championship will go to them, however if Durant or Klay misses the series all together or basically not return for game 4 and raptors wins the game then the series has a high shift to raptors championship. This fourth game will definitely shape the series for sure, without Durant and Klay raptors could literally end this in game 5.

I guess it's really up to the players if they are going to suit up for the next game. Obviously, Durant is not ready, but I'm betting that Thompson injury is not that worst, compare to KD and could be definitely play in Game 4.

But we have a local saying, if Toronto Raptors destiny to win this year, then nobody can stop it. Even if KD and KT suit up.  Grin.
5998  Economy / Economics / Re: Belarus has launched a regulated bitcoin exchange on: May 29, 2019, 07:10:23 PM
Well.. I would say this is good news. The former USSR is one of the strongholds of cryptocurrency (or it used to be so until a few years back). But unfortunately the governments of Russia and Ukraine took a very hostile stance towards crypto from the very beginning. In the end a lot of the businesses were forced to move out. What Belarus is trying to do is very appreciable.

Everything that is really positive news is good for the market. Belarus is really opposing what Russia is doing right now. We all know that Russia hates bitcoin and the rest of crypto and I think this is one major reason why Belarus is giving home to everything related to crypto like ICO's as if giving the middle finger to the current government of Russia.

So let's see how this will turn out in the future. This is very interesting news because we really wanted crypto to grow in the next 5-10 years and countries like Belarus is already carrying the torch on that side of the globe. So better watch out for this one.
5999  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will hit $1M on 2020 - John McAfee on: May 29, 2019, 07:04:08 PM
What makes it funnier though is the way he believes on that reddit post, specially from a guy who said that he is a time traveler. Grin

I mean if you are in the right frame of mind, would you honestly believed on that fairy tale? Well if the price hits $1 million then good, but saying that someone predicted it because he travels across time is absurd.
