5981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental or technical, which one you do used? on: January 10, 2019, 03:43:36 PM
You can use both if you do able to get some news or fundamentals together with applied technical analysis. Neither of these things
as long it can bring profits or make your profitable then it doesn't matter. The thing here is that nor these things are having accurate results anytime.
We know on how unpredictable crypto is.
5982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs 2.0 enough to regain trust from investors? on: January 09, 2019, 09:12:42 PM
The big question here is, there is a new wave which some people are calling ICO 2.0 in which projects must have a working prototype before starting crowdfunding.
Do you think this upgrade is enough to regain trust from investors?

For output to be seen, it must be executed and pushed.

But for me, why ICO became hype in the first place? Not with the roadmaps, not with the developments, but for the coin price once it get listed on exchange. To triggered that hype, the crypto market must be healthy. The 2018 where bearish trend dominates the whole year slowly pull down the ICO hype.

Bottom line, I believed if bitcoin price will make some hype again and regain it's 2017 momentum, it will bring back all the positive hype and that will include the ICO thing. And yes, another scenario again of scam and shit will happened while at the same time, there will be a chances that some projects will regain investors confidence "but not the same numbers like before".
Trust and positive views towards crypto market has been gone already when the market crashed from ATH upto this moment. You are right that everything was dragged after that
bubble burst in 2017 and the rest of 2018 becomes bearish and so as with that ICO hype and I don't see for someone in able to make a prototype before making a crowdfunding. No project owners would risk out.

5983  Economy / Gambling / Re: OTTBTC.com - a website to play rock paper scissors online by bitcoin PvP on: January 09, 2019, 08:19:46 PM
I don't know but for a contest worth 10 BTC, you should really set some rules properly. I couldn't find any rules and that's not a comfort for people wanting to participate. All it says is referrals must play 10 games but looking at the website, there's no one in chat and only 3 games available. Leaderboard is also not updated real time (I don't believe there is not even a single player referred).

And of course, proof of funds are needed. That's the bare minimum.
We have just run the website a few hours ago and haven't had any advertising campaigns at the moment besides this post. We will run advertising campaigns soon in the future and you will see more players.

We will transfer 11 bitcoin into this address (39CF9XzpiBHDjnRyadGJgebauNeCMUdaoi) to make proof. After that, we will withdraw it immediately because we won't keep bitcoins in hot wallet. We keep them in cold wallet.
Lots of leaks  Wink

First, this site is cheap looking and i dont believe that someone do have that big money wont focus on sites design.

Second, i checked out on the address you have given on where you pass up 11 BTC on 39CF9XzpiBHDjnRyadGJgebauNeCMUdaoi which cames from 1NDyJtNTjmwk5xPNhjgAMu4HDHigtobu1s (which is a binance wallet).

This isnt a cold wallet and with that amounts of bitcoin alone.I dont see you do need to build a cheap looking gambling site.  Cheesy

Dang! I will wait or watch this thread on how OP respond to this one.
5984  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 90% retail traders lose 90% of their deposited margin $ within 90 day on: January 09, 2019, 07:44:29 PM
Not so long ago I got known that there is the rule 90/90/90 which means that 90% retail traders lose 90% of their deposited margin $ within 90 days. I am wondering to get to know your opinions, experience and observations to figure out whether the rule works or do not work.
What about my opinion, I guess it is really true because every retail trader, whom I knew, lost money on margin trading with various assets (Forex, futures, CFDs).

Some traders doesn't even know what they are doing with their investments in trading. They just do it for fun like gambling and doesn't even have a plan.
Not only some but most of them doing such thing.Lets talk only with traditional trading like forex and stocks. Only 5% of them become successful and the rest?
They all blown up their accounts not only on not having a knowledge but this field of trading is also hard.Same goes with crypto but in terms of fast profitability then crypto do have it.

is c-cex on "vacation"?
The vacation is over but there are lots of problems raised after that. You do have any problems with this scam exchange?
5986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember your first sports bet? on: January 09, 2019, 06:51:17 PM
I remember this local betting sports game back then where you will bet based on the ending score on a local basketball game. The game is televised and all people can watch. Of the winning score for example is 94-98,the ending combination would be 8-4, the winning team would be the first number. There are 90 combinations including 0-0. The odds are surely 1:100 but if you win, your $2 will become $170. The remaining $30 is for the house.

Most of the people getting classes in the first but I definitely sure this will happen to lots of people because gambling is one of the hardest game that we have to do lots of research and that otherwise we cannot make huge profit with gambling.
Remember this game, and honestly I’m one of those collector and as a collector you have nothing to lose since you only collect the money of every participant, you will just get some bonus from the winner. I don’t understand why we need to do lots of research in gambling? I think most of the gambler don’t care on this anymore its too hard and time consuming, they will just play and ignore this step.
If you are the house nor the collector then you wont really care at all as long you do accumulate funds from bettors since you know you do have the advantage in every game.
For bettors I don't really see the reason for you to make lots of research because most likely this would still depend on luck. Why would make yourself hassling on things which isn't really relevant at all?
Back to topic my first sports bet is on Basketball though.
5987  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-09] Could Japan’s Approval of the Bitcoin ETF Affect US SEC’s on: January 09, 2019, 06:27:05 PM
US are not affected by external factors and they will decide without any influence from other countries whatsoever

I think that SEC may actually take "external factors" into consideration, since they don't want US "fall behind".
However, as already stated, FSA is considering the approval, which actually doesn't mean anything to be taken into consideration.
I agree into this one. US don't want really to fall behind so we cant really say that they do 100% don't care at all on such decision had been
made by Japan towards ETF. This would still takes time though if they would considerate some points or not.
5988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Friendly advice/warning about gambling in this market on: January 09, 2019, 06:02:17 PM
~
True, with the current volatility of the market as it is now, the best bet is just to be using fiat.
At least, with your winnings, if you manage to anyway, you can easily buy back into bitcoin eventually until the coasts clear.
~

When betting with Bitcoin these days you are basically betting with more money than you think you are, and in that sense I agree with OP. But since you are bringing up a topic of winning, let's think about it a minute. When winning $20 one year ago you were given 0.00117 BTC while you are given 0.005 BTC if you win $20 today. So, I see no point in playing with fiat and then buying Bitcoin with the money you won, because most likely you would be able to buy less BTC compared to what you would've receive on a gambling site.

Of course we shouldn't presume on winning in the first place, so the warning in the OP is very important.
When comparing between fiat and bitcoin betting then we know which one do have the potential of earning more. So, we would basically go with BTC bets but the question
is on how to win constantly or on high chances. We do have the advantage yet we can accumulate btc gradually which we know that volatility would be the reason for us
to earn even more but as been said it would still remain on chances.
5989  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you think that crypto exchanges are dead? on: January 08, 2019, 11:23:59 PM
That’s not a new thing, we all know that majority of them are dead. Lots of these exchanges fake their trading value and I’m just discovering recently.

So lots of them are not what they seem to be, they just paint themselves to look good in front of their investors, there is no truth. So some of them are a big failure and they are dead already. But despite all that, there are still a lot of exchanges doing just fine. That’s why I avoid nee exchanges.
When using up exchangers it do always end up on users end on how they would select which one they would gonna use. There are lots of choices and why would stick up to shady ones than on selecting the most reputable and popular ones? Crypto exchangers aren't dead even though lots of them do fail to get marketshare but basing on the number of exchangers as of now.It is just enough to sustain the demand.
5990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play at a casino where payments are delayed for days? Why? on: January 08, 2019, 10:38:15 PM
To put it in simple terms the answer is most definitely not!

Let me ask everyone another question relating to this topic:
If you worked 40 hours for the week, from Monday to Friday, would you expect to be paid after you worked?  Which is Friday
Or, would you be satisfied with waiting 48 hours and being paid on Sunday or even Monday.
I would want my money immediately, why make wait for a delay?

In many countries you get paid once a month, where I live I get paid on the 3rd or 4th day of each month. All the work I did from January 2 to today January 7 will not be paid until 4 weeks from now. People are used to it.
Now if a casino delays payments on purpose for some reason, it is important to ask why. If they do this to all customers or you only. If the situation is unfair then of course you have the right to complain.
You can always send an email to their license (if they have one).
Emailing them directly about their license? I don't see for this to be relevant when you are just asking about your payments but somehow asking these questions would occur to be your last resort.
5991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a new ATH for BTC even posible? on: January 08, 2019, 10:13:56 PM
Possible but no one knows on when it would happen neither it wont happen at all. No one can predict the future even though Bitcoin is being outshined by other projects it doesn't mean it can be easily
removed into its place as top 1. We didn't even expect for BTC to reach 20k on 2017.We might see new ATH but not on the way of heading too fast but rather on a gradual basis.
5992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30 days x2 with DICE on: January 08, 2019, 08:36:55 PM
I guess it’s entertaining to drag it out over a month, but I hope you realize the odds of this succeeding are the same as rolling it all on 2x once.

My thoughts exactly.

This kind of challenge is basically useless. Why draging it on a month? Your main chance is to get addicted to the feeling and come back to gamble more.

Moreover, contrary to what most people think it's better to make one huge bet than 10000 small bets. The odds are the same of course, but the variance makes it more likely for a player to win with one big bet than with tons of small ones.

not only it is faster, it is also mathematically way better
but it is not the goal here to double his money
I'm pretty sure he wants to get some content for his youtube channel this way
little he knows that he won't earn more than 10.000 doge he gambles with his channel Smiley
the glorious days of making big money on youtube with any content are gone
With having 4-36 views max on his video updates then theres no way he can earn more.I do feel its just
a clickbait luring out to follow his channel this is why he intended to follow on slow process way of betting which
he can actually done by doubling his balance on a single bet.
5993  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: HTC Exodus - The first major blockchain smartphone on: January 08, 2019, 07:55:21 PM
some of people are saying this is expensive which is not, compared to its rival finney, htc exodus has similar feature as htc u12+ which is great bcz for average guy it can fulfill both requirement of phone and blockchain technology.although finney has more decentralized feature but still it is half the price of it and has more specs than finney.as per i know there are facing some bug problem which is common as it is a try and it can help htc to come back as major smartphone company.
I wont believe that this phone can make a comeback into their reputation nor making back into the game with other smartphone companies.Yes, its unique but considering in the price which is $600+ basing on the specs there are lots of more better phones than on this one which I do believe most costumers will definitely neglect this except for those who are really passionate with crypto and besides
I don't know if its fitted to make use of the word "secure" since mobile phones are always prone to connectivity.
5994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 08, 2019, 07:18:05 PM
Lastly, give me merits if this tips help you. Nah. Just kidding. I just want to write a book someday and i need some inspiration. Gambling is fun though.
I do appreciate the tips or advice given but this line changes everything. Are you aware on how many threads are similar to this?
All of those points are valid ones but I can give out general conclusion if we are really serious on quitting gambling. Just have a very strong self control and discipline and be sensible into your decisions.
5995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to crypto trading - Is now the time to get in? on: January 08, 2019, 06:38:57 PM
Hi all.  When the hype was at its peak about a year ago, clearly this attracted a lot of people.  I waited and watched.  Would love to hear views on if this is a good time to start looking at BTC and alts.

Also, have seen a few accounts that offer services (VIP signals etc).  Presumably some of these are better than others.... if so, what have been your experiences?  Thanks.
It’s all your choice. There is risk in cryptocurrency. If you want you can wait till the price starts to go up just to be sure that there is going to be a bull, but don’t forget that sometimes there is bull trap; when the prices suddenly increases and gets back to the bottom again. So since the price is down, maybe now is best for you to buy and hodl till when the price will go up. But like I said before, it’s all your choice .
We do have our own choice but asking if this is the right time to get in then no one knows but basing on the prices we have seen compared in last years then we can say that this is relatively low.
Its really indeed our choice if we can risk up to get in because as being said on crypto this is way too volatile. We might expect that this is already the bottom but anytime it can go even more deeper which
causes for you to loss money. If you aren't ready on the risk then better not to proceed at all.
5996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: January 08, 2019, 05:49:20 PM
Too sad for that guy that he don’t even think to prioritize his own safety considering that he’s carrying huge cash, I’d rather to check in and enjoy the night than to risk everything. Its an inside job for sure, well bad things will happen to those guys who are more greedy and commit crimes time will come for that.
$75k is a lot of money. It does not have to be casino, even if you come out from a bank with $75k cash then you need to take proper security measurement. You can not just blame the casino. He won that huge sum of money meaning he got attention from people. They were following him and when they got chance they took the money.

The may use helps from his friends and family. He could call someone to give him companion for the night.
But the sad fact that most people are way too careless on thinking about their safety.Money is money and every people who are in need will definitely kill anyone without any hesitation if they do know they are holding big amount not only to this country but worldwide. If money thing involves then for sure there would be a crime so as a gambler or just a typical person do brings a lot of cash then
you should prioritize your safety first.
5997  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to enter a perfect trade and stop being a loser. on: January 08, 2019, 05:09:29 PM
I generally don't really believe in any of these ratios, but if you have to find a good balance, maintaining profitability, then you're right, the ratio should be 2:1 at max. Risking less for more sounds better too, but it just means that that will be harder to obtain, or less frequent anyway.

Also, don't play around with leverage and margins, even if you understand it well. If you don't have $50, then don't use $5 as if you had $50. No point in gaining X times more if you're also losing X times more.
Or simply using up technical on full scale.Seen above using up some Fibonacci and trace levels on 4h frame signifies price swing trades but overall set-up isn't bad at all as long it do give profitability on OP.

About margins, you cant blame other traders as well on gambling it up they do either know the equivalent risk or just simply look forward on the prize not on the risk.
5998  Economy / Gambling / Re: boxsbit on: January 08, 2019, 04:44:27 PM
prepared to "awake courage inside of me" and to login to  "challenge the power of the universe"
only to find this totally anticlimatic dead horse beaten bitkong script variation  Huh

Ahahahah

Well honestly I didn't expect much.
Most of those sites know they have few chances to get a good marketshare so they're not even trying for real.
They take an existing script, put a different design and say "hey we invented something new come and see by yourself" hoping some dudes will actually bet here...

But something like bitkong is not really popular nowadays, people only play on there may be because they are the first site that made this kind of game. Anyway I do not think that bitkong even have open source their code right? So it does not mean that boxsbit are copy pasting their work and only do the design part. So they should work something out to get more players and let player be attracted to what they have now if they want to get bigger
Even if they didn't copy paste their work but the entire concept is just really the same. Come to think normally that even the original ones on this are did even have a hard time to get some marketshare when it comes to gambling area. How much more into the copied ones? We have seen hundred of new gambling sites copying others idea but what happened to them? We aren't wishing for failure but
somehow we do expect on where this would be going.

6000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: January 05, 2019, 05:06:18 PM
2019, is here,  are we going to continue in losing trade?  I have decided to love my capital more than profits this year and I am not going to take much risky trade this year.
We are all doing trading not to lose money but rather we are striving to earn profits. Unexpected events do happen like price reversal on what we have predicted
which isn't a surprising thing.Proper risk management is always been a crucial thing to consider anytime because if you do lack this kind of thing then expect handling your
capital would really be very difficult.
