61  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To keep coin long term on: April 29, 2021, 08:23:16 AM
I can only but say to you that the industry is made for those who know what patience means. Investors who consider the crypto space as one that is worthy of their investment should properly understand the term HOLD as it is key to making profit. You have to HOLD coins for them to appreciate before you take profit.

Hello community here,

I am newbie here and happy to join here.

My ask is what will be your advices about keeping a coin long term ? Which coin is worth for it?

any ideas will be appreciated.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: April 29, 2021, 08:20:45 AM
let it be known today that he who does not take profit has not made profit irrespective of what profit has been observed as a result of price speculation. People who do not take profit easily see the prices of their investments go from 100% to -100% and then they get to regret not taking profit. Always ensure to take profit.

some traders and investors find it hard to take profit even after making good profit on investment. this can be as a result of aiming to sell at a desired price that is higher or hoping to hold the tokens for more longer time.  its not everyone that can do this patiently and some usually regret their actions. the secret is to make decision and stand by it and also be satisfied by little profits , take out your investments and some little profits and then leave the rest for long term.

kindly share your ideas that might be helpful to solving this issue.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: April 29, 2021, 08:18:40 AM
Doge is a meme coin and has been that way from inception. it has been around for quite a while now before the likes of Elon Musk and others considered it an investment project and then the price started pumping really hard. This has make me to believe that the community is what decides what works and goes in the crypto space. Yes, investors have a say but look closely for the community's opinion. If they are with doge then HOLD.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $SXP burned 17% of total supply on: April 29, 2021, 08:15:37 AM
The burn is a good structure in terms of driving scarcity and price appreciation according economics and it sstudy bordering around finance. The price of SXP has been appreciating in drastically, although i did not invest in it but I thought of having it in my bag in a  short while from now. thanks for the update.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Uniswap (UNI) good for investment? on: April 28, 2021, 09:35:33 PM
Uniswap coin has potential of main it big time in the space but the waves they once created has been defused by pancakeswap and also the liquidity pool has been dropped. So imagine the outcome of the token. Though it might be a good investment because of their circulation structure.

Most forums do not have enough information on Uniswap(UNI). Most people only know that Uniswap is a crypto trading platform like Binance, then that's all. Binance(BNB) coin is going up these few months. Does Uniswap(UNI) coin have a chance to go up? Does Uniswap(UNI) worth to invest?
Could anyone tell me? Thx!!

67  Economy / Speculation / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: April 23, 2021, 09:13:49 AM
It looks like a bear market is in sight. I have since expected this retracement in price but its retracement levels will determine  whether or not we have seen the bear market season. I have decided to look towards my instincts as we have seen by the price actions within the last 24 hours.

Bitcoin 15%- the major cypto -25% and tomorrow will be 30%- massive hit comming. You will see at 6 am when you wake up.
We enter a bear market now. I expected it to last longer but this is the end,

This the beauity of crypto is unpredictable. I am in 15k I don't sell anything and don't feel anything.

68  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: April 23, 2021, 08:58:00 AM
It is obviously a fact that the case topic is invalidated as Bitcoin has shown the way below 50k. I see Bitcoin still testing lower levels and possibly breaking them to show lower supports. loads of factors have come to play but most importantly are the regulatory agencies passing laws and enforcing laws across all levels and having stern penalties to it.

Today is April 14th 2021, Bitcoin is trading at $62k - $64k today. It just spent basically two months building support around $50,000 in a very non-bull-run like fashion. This is because this bull run isn't gonna be a relatively short FOMO-driven huge peak and giant crash + crypto winter. We're at the beginning of a years-long super cycle that is gonna shoot Bitcoin from $10k up to well into the the hundreds of thousands over the next few years, with no crypto winters during that growth. Retail is calmer less FOMOy, institutions are coming in and by definition are more wary and less FOMOy, and with Covid + money printing the narrative around Bitcoin has finally evolved from speculative get rich scheme to store of value gold 2.0.

For these reasons, Bitcoin will never go below $50k again, even if we get a decent crash at some point like most people expect based on past market cycles (and yes I've been in crypto during the two big crypto winters), the bottom still won't go under $50k. Do you agree? Hit the poll!
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: April 23, 2021, 08:51:52 AM
The price of bitcoin has been speculated to drop to significant levels but I do not see a possibility of dropping to the 20k levels but if peradventure we see suc levels then we should face facts, there is a crash in the market as that i more than a 70 percent crash in the price and it will be a negative one.

Buying BTC now is extremly risky. This is a bubble what we see now.  Soon the prices will drop to 20k then buy BTC.
But now is not the time at the end of the bull run.

Soon we'll reach good point to buy at 20k btc this good price.
now is high price i wouldn't put 60k on btc.
but is good time to buy altcoins that can make you x2-5x
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin is falling? on: April 22, 2021, 05:33:27 PM
I was actually expecting the price of bitcoin to decline a little as it is expected to correct in line with the trends of trading and technical analysis. I personally think that the bullish trend has spent some time and has not actually gotten to the correction prices, hence, it should correct before breaking out of the resistance levels.

anybody know why bitcoin is falling Roll Eyes
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: April 22, 2021, 05:26:59 PM
The contrary i think is the case. Bitcon has actually come with loads of measures to better economies of various countries as i see already in  my country, loads of unemployed group of youths have now become gainfully employed and are making a living out of the economy bitcoin has created just  a little above a decade.

You are not allowed to go outside in the country bringing lots of money. It should only be limited on the intention of your visit. This is why government had task authorities to manange some interviews before they will accept your application to travel outside the country. This include t limit you in bringing lot of money. But what if you are using bitcoin?

Government are unaware of people using bitcoin or maybe aware but has not taking actions in this to avoid making some losses especially in terms of the asset that determine the value of the economy represented by fiat currency.

If fiat currency will be transfer outside the country through bitcoin then it is just like we are selling our asset to other people and that may leave that the countries economy will slowly will going to die. I think this is why the reason that government are requiring known exchanges to do KYC so that they can tract people who are doing this. Besides there are other things that bitcoin could be
getting abuse by the criminals like

* funding terrorist,
* money laundering,
*kidnap for ransom using bitcoin, and etc,

Other than that bitcoin is considered as an asset why?Because Bitcoin is being bought by fiat currency which derive its value like gold. The sad part that I am making some point in my other posts is that

* when you buy bitcoin cheap you earn, while others buy bitcoin which is expensive they lose.
* The rich people could earn more in investing bitcoin while poor people could lose more. (vice versa the rich people may lose more and poor people can earn more)
* the use of bitcoin to travel spending outside in the country is more like selling your country asset and that could destroy the economy of that certain country.

This could be the reason why bitcoin is being ban in other countries because they are protecting their economy against bitcoin.

US dollars had been bought through bitcoin and exchange it with dollars. There is a news that the US government had limit the community the use of cryptocurrency because there are some country that are eyeing to use cryptocurrency to extend their purchasing powers of dollars and that US government does not allowed or make it happen. The US asset is somehow being sold by people who buy cryptocurrency and that is why KYC is being implemented and other altcoins project are not accepting US community to invest in their project because they can get penalized by the US government law I guess.

72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The old fiat days are behind us! on: April 22, 2021, 08:19:29 AM
crypto is here and it is here to stay. I have imagined what the dark ages were when they used those forms of money with little  or not stress just like crypto has made the world becomes in terms of finance. I am most surprised that those forms of fianancial transactions even existed as i am forced to compare them with the crypto era and the difference is much we say a big thank you to the fiat days while they helped us in the past and now we make room to usher in crypto as the new big deal.

When someone says, "but the performance of gold as an asset lasts 5,000 years"

You might be able to point out: "And then the arrival of the railroad, together with the horseless carriage, rendered the animals as transport obsolete."

Basically, computers, the web, mobile phones, and the internet are all expanded, improved versions of existing technologies. upgrading technology and techniques, actively doing something completely different for thousands of years. So, the future of currency (which is crypto) is here!
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC's crisis time is coming on: April 21, 2021, 10:47:48 PM
i feel there is a correction in the market that is yet to be reorded. obviously financial analysis is good but if we take a second look at the scenario here, there has not been any major correction for the bitcoin. The challenge is that people will or may not expect it coming. if the price of btc plunges, no one knows what it will take to get back and what time so I percieve danger.

In recent days, the trading volume of many DOGE exchanges has ahead of  BTC.BTC's market share is decreasing and its value will be revalued

------add-----new------------

The money are limited,The market value of btc is too high, and it takes too much capital to rise ,DOGE is small

1)DOGE UP-> BTC DOWN->OTHERS DOWN->DOGE DOWN->Faith collapses->GAME OVER

The money are limited,When DOGE rises, money comes out of btc, and the market is established by btc, faith collapses, and other coins fall, and they all die, and DOGE can’t escape.

2)DOGE UP-> BTC DOWN->OTHERS DOWN->DOGE DOWN->DOGE UP AGAiN&NEW COIN UP->OTHERS UP->BTC marginalization

There are always hotspots in the currency market, we can continue to play,

74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: April 21, 2021, 10:43:26 PM
i sincerely agree with this opinion. The appearance of elon musk in the space has caused loads of unbelievable activities. firstly, we have seen the likes of shitcoin making waves and people cahing out in the blink of an eye and then other projects have leveraged on the elon musk idea to create other shitcoins and its not a good one at all.

Am I the only one who finds his tweets and market manipulation annoying?

A lot of newbies falling into the trap unfortunately. BTC is strong and won't be affected too much but Dogecoin is just increasing its pump and dump reputation. Sad.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🛑 Do you feel like Elon Musk has inflated the crypto Poll With Results 🛑 on: April 21, 2021, 10:40:33 PM
I think the bull market was already activated before elon musk came into the picture, he only made things a little bit interestting by shilling a coin that had no use case and the idea is that the bullish market will favor those who just come to the industry.

Feel free to add your thoughts and comments.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 20, 2021, 10:20:27 PM
While the bull season persist, people should understand that the market has correction strategy that is often deployed in accordance with the principles of market trading and structure. I only feel for those who do not take profits because if the price of cryptocurrency drops to even as little as 40% it will have a negative effect on traders and holders and I know they will not be comfortable with that.

I have no problems seeing a bright future for BTC, but after a major retracement it might again take many years to recover. Look at the last sell off down to $3700. It took almost 4 years to make new ATH.
So should this be the major, expected drop, it could again take many years for BTC to reach 100k.
Many people will be dead before BTC will reach 1 mio.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Fee on: April 20, 2021, 10:16:27 PM
Ransaction fees on the Bitcoin network has often given no challenges except for cases of large cluster and then the need arises for prioritizing gas fees which in turn drives the fees up by a significant percentage. I think the concept of lightening network will help solve the issues of fees in the near future, pending when he hat is deployed, we will keep at what comes and rely on devs to help remedy it with upgrades.

During April, I saw a tremendous increase in bitcoin transaction fee. I think there are enough people who want to make fast transaction that they are willing to pay miner more than usual. Quite a few people seem in a hurry to get their turn for confirmation in the next block, so anyone who wants to send a small transaction has to be patient for a longer turn. I hope the mempool can be cleaned up as soon as possible, but if the panic of trader and investor continues then maybe these expensive fee will last longer.

Here are some of the data I collect from https://privacypros.io/tools/bitcoin-fee-estimator/ about bitcoin transaction fee.

78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling down. Is it the end for it? on: April 20, 2021, 10:09:10 PM
We all under stand that certain conditions are responsible for certain effects we see mostly in the price action of digital assets. That of bitcoin isn't left out as it functions with the price patterns authored by the entire community. The price of Bitcoin saw a sharp pull back of straight $8000+ as a result of information arising from the mining of Bitcoin but it doesn't tell that Bitcoin is about to end.

The last few months of solid growth have instilled confidence that Bitcoin is unstoppable. Each time Bitcoin updated its maximum and even managed to get close to the $60,000 mark. However, then its price fell sharply in a few days and for many investors it came as a shock… for some reason.

Is it really the end of the Bitcoin rally or it’s just a pause before another storm? Let’s try to figure it out.
