61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: September 09, 2017, 08:28:16 AM
last nıgh nav made a flag formatıon. some ıdıots fucked ıt. today nav could make a cup handle another ıdıots fucked ıt. ı dont understand why these guys sellıng. the aım ıs buy at low but you are blockıng prıze ıncrease so you dont get any value. and people are runnıng because of these games.

Because people like me bought as low as 50k and had a nice return and looked for other investment opportunities Wink

I still believe in this project and will rebuy at some point.

If you really believe in this project you would not care about the current price and you would keep buying as I did for ages.

I am still holding a few thousand nav in my wallet, just to say, but really, stop caring about the price.

The only people that care about the price are people that can't wait to dump and sell at some point.

ETH has at least a 10% potential with the PoS announcement in the next days:

63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: September 04, 2017, 09:17:41 PM
The world need cheap hosting and yes we are moving in that direction since 1995, look at the hosting plans in late 19s and now. So why you feel that Sia token will gain value when the world needs cheap hosting?? If Sia falls below the rep value then it will be a inflation. mark my words.

You know you have unlimited space on dropbox for 15 a month right?

Unlimited.

(and 200gb of transfer everyday which will go up).

64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin will boom in poloniex and Bittrex Next ? (Short Term Boom) on: September 04, 2017, 03:46:53 PM
Alanin, yet, any time I have a technical question about a coin I never get replied Wink

So yes, people don't understand what they buy in the majority of cases, and I agree with the fact that only a handful of coins will see any use in the future.

Question for the dev.

Anonymous transactions occur on a second private blockchain.

Who manages the second blockchain?

Can authorities access payments by accessing the second blockchain?
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: September 04, 2017, 01:49:25 PM
Where does SIA stands compare to Storj?

pricewise there is a huge difference..

That's because SIA block rewards are really big.

I'm glad that SIA is recovering slowly (I hope to see 200+ sato soon).

Yes, SIA block rewards are high that's why it cannot able to survive in the market because people are kept dumping the SIA coins. Only volumes are increasing but the value of SIA is the same situation when Bitcoin price increases.

Big coin supply is not bad. Continuous mining is also not a bad thing, it brings security to the blockchain! I'm sure that SIA will recover to 300 sato levels soon. Strong project that might be slightly undervalued right now.

"Slightly undervalued". They are whitepapers who have more market cap than Sia. It is a wolf in sheep's clothing but unfortunately a victim of that cryptocurrency hype. There are two options:

A: Sia is currently undervalued
B: 99% of the other cryptocurrency are currently far overvalued

Choose one.

People nowadays mainly buy coins to hold. They treat them as an investment. But that is not a healthy process.  Bitcoin might be an exception thus his status as worlds first crypto coin. But we don't need 900 of them. We need coins that have a use, a use that is more than beeing a currency and not only a theoretical one from a whitepaper. That's why the crypto world is turning into a morgue. A morgue full of crypto coins that everybody has, but nobody wants. And guess what: You won't find SiaCoin there. Cause I will still need it to pay my cloud storage bill.

Nobody's going to use ever siacoin as a storage solution.

It's either expensive for the host or expensive for the customer, but it can't be good for both Wink

And this ignores how complicated it is to store and download files from sia compared to mainstream solutions, the fact that you can't give a siacoin bill to your accountant and the constant price fluctuation.

You guys just can't give up.

About your B), yes 100% of the cryptocurrency market is all hype and no use atm and is seriously overvalued.

Vericoin has much less stuff than nav.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: September 02, 2017, 10:32:15 AM
rising is over for now ?? but next time $5 is target .

5$ will be in  may 2018

In May this coin will be worth all 20 $ remember my words

If we had to believe all of you prophets giving zero reasons but "this coin is great" we'd be all broke Wink

I bought 3380 navs at an average of 9k, started at 17k and kept buying all through the sub 5k dip.

Then I sold at 17.2k.

So for a 0.304 btc (around 800 $ investment considering how much btc was priced between may and july) I turned a 0.278 btc profit.

With current Bitcoin price that's a 1336 $ net profit.

Did I bite my hand when I saw 30k+ nav today?

Of course I did, I basically (don't want to do the math) left 3000$ on the table.

Oh yes, I did byte my hand.

But it's okay (I mean, I know people that sold 1400 ETH at 2 $ each so...).

Do I still want to buy NAV and believe in NAV? Sure I do, and I hope to buy under 11k again.

Cryptomarkets are very cyclical, they gain and lose value very fast.

This coin is really great. Never sell it all. Remember NEM, remember STRATIS, remember NEO. Keep something long term. Do not sell all coins.

We'll see who's right.

70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Best way to track cryptos for intraday trading? on: September 01, 2017, 09:36:34 AM
So, long story short, I'm a mixture of long term and short term investor.

I am mostly interested in 12ish coins I trade on a daily basis and some of them hold as well.

I'm interested in a website/program that:

1) lets me check the book order in depth (with graphs as well) and I can apply multiple indicators on the graph (keltner, bollinger, ecc).

2) lets me have a "favorite" box showing me all the 12 coins, I just want to know Volume, last price, ask and bid.

3) provides alerts for when certain criteria is met.

So, Bittrex is good for 1), e.g., but lacks 2) (I can't see other favorite coins in one page), and I'm not aware of it having alerts.

Tradingview is messy and has a terrible book, it's good for alerts tho.

Poloniex doesn't have enough coins that interest me (otherwise 1 and 2 were covered).

Solutions I tried and I don't like:

-tradingview

-most exchanges

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NAV Coin - Can somebody help me understand this a bit better on: September 01, 2017, 09:29:22 AM

1) So at what point do - you decide that "ok , $1 is a good price, or $1.2". - How do I know what the "peak" might be. For all I know $1.20 IS the peak or it could possibly keep climbing (like Litecoin) and reach $10?

2) After seeing the chart, at what point should I have decided to "buy" or is that moment, right now, when it's sitting at $1.20.

1) you look at the marketcap mostly. coin's value has absolutely no meaning if you ignore coin's competitor marketcap.

e.g. Navcoin had a sub 10 millions marketcap (it's 80 now, iirc) much much lower than the competitors (verge? monero?)

2) It's tied to the first point and depends on the kind of investor you are.

My own opinion is that you don't know enough about cryptos and cryptotrading if you're looking for similar advice.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone get that feeling? on: September 01, 2017, 09:23:59 AM
That all these topics and threads are pure shill and pump?

anyone see a trend in these forums that the main posts are about the flavour of the month pump coin? Then when it dies no one talks about that coin.

I'm seeing it.

Talk about how I'm a newbie, but I've been reading for a while..

Just a reminder to do your own research, half these threads are now about "WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY 10,000$ TELL ME WHATS THE BEST THING FOR 2018"

Meanwhile 90% of people do not understand block-chain technology is, in slightest.

Yes, I do not trust anybody on the internet over cryptos.

Anybody has its own purpose which is make money for **himself**, not for somebody else.

No matter what topic you go, each time you see "this coin's so good and undervalued" you should read "I bought this coin and I hope it pumps so I can jump out".

I use to say bad things in my comments, even on the coins I own as aswell.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: September 01, 2017, 08:09:00 AM
what is the reason of decent price rise in last time?

If you've been following Nav, then you would've known that this coin is the most undervalued coin around.
Nav is worth between $50.00 Usd----------$100.00 UDS

                                    Wink

so between 4 and 8 billions of market cap?

that's a bit too much Wink
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: August 31, 2017, 08:49:21 PM
I'd wait for breaking 200 SAT for a confirmation. ATM I'm swing-trading half of it for a short-term profit.

200 sat is nothing. just wait for few more weeks.
we will enter into 4 digits..
this is most undervalued coin compare to competitors

You're seriously delusional if you have hopes for an above 500 sats sia.

I see you invested and hope for a pump, but this is simply not going to happen.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: August 31, 2017, 08:47:53 PM
because the tech & team are solid, innovative and forward-thinking

That was true a month ago as well.

Navtech 1.2 brought enough publicity to Nav.

77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: August 29, 2017, 02:01:51 PM
What's the reason for the recent 10% dip back to ~180 SAT areas? Did I miss some news or 200 SAT price was just unsustainable for the current market?

speculation
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: August 29, 2017, 01:36:31 PM
Somebody is keeping the price down. Should be over $1 USD  by now.

                                Undecided

Be patient my friend.

Remember what Warren Buffets says about markets:

"The financial markets are the place where the patient investor slowly but steadily takes away money from the impatient one" Smiley

NavCoin will reach 10$ at some point.

If you want to hold, if you want to margin trade, if you want to scalp, well that's all your choice but you need to study what you're doing and you need to learn PATIENCE.

Cryptomarkets give patient investors countless opportunities to make money, as well as countless opportunities to lose them.

A very good year in standard financial markets has 10 % profits.

If you're looking for similar profits on a monthly basis you're unavoidably in a risky enviroment.

So, really, learn patience.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: August 28, 2017, 04:21:56 PM
I'm so happy for Nav.

Started buying at 17k in May, kept buying even when it felt in volume and value down to 5k while more than tripling my profits by speculating on siacoin (I also lot some with digibyte tho)..

I made a crazy amount of money and basically repaid 3 GPUs with less than a month of farming just by investing all of my profits in Nav.

I also have absolutely no intention to sell, 10$ per coin is an absolutely believable target for nav, and by then I'll be basically able to add some salaries to my income just by staking.

I'm so fucking happy and I'll keep promoting, buying and supporting this coin.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: August 23, 2017, 03:09:45 PM
In every thread where personal tips of good altcoins are asked is the answer SIA. I never heard anybody condemn Sia as a scam or shitcoin.

I pointed out many times why siacoin's service (file hosting) isn't profitable neither for the host nor for the user.

It's unfit to any kind of long term storage, and even less as a short term one.
