We're seeing a nice increase in volume over the past 36 hours.

Awesome, so the Sumokoin team is now comprised of 4 active developers. Great job.

you must be one of the classiest members of sumokoin I presume?

Sumogr is not a member of the dev team.

It's really cool to see how quickly the difficulty adjusts itself with changing hashrate Smiley

LOL!

It is amazing how fast and accurately difficulty adjusts itself with respect to current network hashrate.
Devs you have my outmost respect for your skills. This difficulty adjustment algo is a breakthrough

My sentiment exactly. Great job.

10 blocks left Smiley

After the fork we will hopefully get the GUI wallet very soon (quite a bit of it is finished already as shown in the screenshots a few pages back), followed by being added to a new exchange.

I thought the fork is already out... what exactly are you curios about?

The fork will happen at block #21300. We are currently at #21228.

@Dev

Thank you for the detailed replies, everything is clearer now. Could you please share the address / phone number of your office?

Also, if part of the 5% of NIM are not sold, what happens to them?

Guys,

I know you are all somewhat anxious about current situation and progress of the hardfork.

Here are some info:

1. Haruto has been creating a few patches to address the mutipool flash hashrate. Dev are actively discussing about it to find optimal solution that can both deal with this issue and not introduce another flaw. You can view the thread at Github: https://github.com/sumoprojects/sumokoin/pull/10

2. There is no certain date for hardfork yet bz we want to test new algorithm throughout before release it. After the final patch is approved and merged, we'll announce the exact block height and estimate time for hardfork.

3. The hardfork will not create anything chaotic, you may not even recognize when it happens, everything will be the same but the network difficulty (which expected to be downward significantly in short time)

4. I advice Bill not to release GUI wallet until hardfork completed and it still need to fix various UI/UX issues right now, so the release date would be delayed until the end of this month. Sorry for that due to unexpected events.

Thank you all for so kind supports and please don't send transactions these days, they may get stuck at pool for hours and may get expired too (money will be back to your wallets if txs get expired, i.e. in the pool longer than 24 hrs)

Thank you for the information Sumoshi. In particular, thanks for the Github link; I just went over the entire discussion over there and am positively surprised by how engaged you guys are. Keep it up, and thank you.

No, Zcoin is not a Zcash fork. I hope you are not a developer.

No, he is not a developer of the coin.

I think what he meant by comparing Zcoin to Zcash was that there is room for more than just one "anonymous coin", which is true. Even very small differences can make for a valid product as long as that difference is of value to some user.

Devs, there are a bunch of extremely important questions that were asked here on the last two pages. Would you mind answering them thoroughly before the ICO starts?

there is an hard fork incoming?

Yes; check the last 3 pages of posts to understand why.

Sumo is just warming up:

@Dev, thanks for the prompt replies.

What entities will be in control of the domain and web application used for mining, once the mainnet is pushed?
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - 🔏 Digital Cash For High-Confidential Transactions 🔏 on: June 11, 2017, 07:48:59 AM
Devs are considering some algos for re-targeting diff that can response to flash-hashrate in just a few blocks and make attackers little profit (however, as far as we know, none of them are perfect). We'll have to do a lot of tests, pushing it to testnet first and hardfork will come in a week or so.

Thanks devs.

Once new GUI wallet is up and we are listed on some higher volume exchange it should also help with organic hashrate.
