Have you more details for the pixel patcher, version? How to use? Gents, I'm having a problem adding a second PSU to run card #5(and eventually 5-8). I have 4 64s powered by a corsair 1200i, getting 8k hashes total. I'm using an add2PSU to connect two corsair 1200s. Whenever I add my 5th card using my secondary PSU, it goes unrecognized in windows. The 'Radeon' lights up, but there is no red light near the power cables.
To troubleshoot, I changed all connections to my second PSU so it acts as primary and it powers 4 cards fine. I've also added 5 cards to each PSU and they all hash fine - however it's far too close to the max watts. One time I switched two cards to the secondary psu - one card had all red lights on, the other just a green light but neither were recognized. The fans don't spin.
The problem lies with trying to get any cards in attached to the secondary psu to be recognized in windows. I'm using s Biostar Tb-250 pro. Anyone have any suggestions?
You have to DDU and reinstall drivers every time you add a new card (: Make sure Windows automatic device driver install is turned off. You will still probably have to run pixel patcher when you add or move cards but that's a lot easier than driver cleaning/reinstall.

Random Freeze could be overheating: Posted by RIGED here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2549085.msg25992369#msg25992369" Here is a tidbit of wisdom we gained by using a FLIR handheld Thermal Spectograph on the rig and wiring and why, as mentioned above you need a spare 12v computer fan. (i haven't found this info anywhere on the net so if you are reading this consider yourself ahead in the game) on the imgur link above i have included pics of the ASUS and Asrock mobos, the red circle you see is the component that can OVERHEAT and can cause long run mining problems. We found it to go over 70C in relative low ambient temp causing the PCIe slot BUSing to malfunction and freeze/hang the system. Because we are utililsing the cold outside temp to regulate ambient room temp a fan pointed on that component is enough but you might consider installing a small heat sink to go with the fan for better results if you live in warmer environments. https://imgur.com/a/NHxbe"

Hi,
just when the fourth card is active doesn't boot sometimes, after several restart it boot but windows only see 3 vega. Set manual pcie to Gen2 but no change. There seems there isn't a 4G option. In summer, with 4 1070 no Problems with booting and recognizing and mining with 4 gpu's.
Thanks for helping

Hello,
Is windows install them as new devices? Best ddu after reflash?
Best regards Michael

Very annoying, don't thought that the asrock board make such trouble. Is it most a windows problem, so linux is the solution?
Is the H110 Pro BTC+ also such problematic?

On Vega56 the modt used driver, blockchain isn‘t recognized. Also hashrate only 1.1khashes, cast xmr or xmr stak would be nice

Why you don't use server psu, cheaper and think more reliable?

Without riser? Pics? How about temperatures, which rpm on fans? So I finally got my Onda D1800 working with six Vega56's plugged in and hashing happily. Set clocks at 1407/935 (900mV on the mem).
Hashing at approx 1920H/s per card.
Any suggestions on how to get this higher? Have not flashed nor played with power table...

When cooling and loudness is no problem go air cooled, if you would would fit them tight, better air cooling. If Mem goes to high it throttle! If Vega 64 price is better, than buy this. Resale would be better. hashpower is near identical actual.
