You are pretty much on point. I also gave -ve feedback for the same reason. I spent 2 ETH buying old tokens just after the hack, not knowing the price reduction was due to hack. Now those tokens have no value because dev is not giving new tokens for them. If they can't give new tokens for them, they should refund my 2 ETH.
Refund? You have sent funds to hacker, not for us. How can we refund your ETH? If you really purchased with 2 ETH. Please contact us with more details (like EtherDelta trading transaction IDs and your account number, etc...) We can provide some BTCQ coins on new contract for your loss based on our ICO price. What's your problem? Our ICO max price is 1 ETH = 5000 BTCQ. But, you are saying 1 ETH = 2500 BTCQ. Also, we are updating everything on twitter and telegram about claiming BTCQ coins new contract. Every BTCQ holder can claim their coins on new contract via https://bitcoinquick.org/claim.phpDon't spread -ve. What about the tokens purchased from Etherdelta during few hours after the hack? So, every BTCQ coin holder will receive same coins on new contract as of block number 4743339. So, your coins are 100% safe.

Team: this is highly unprofessional. I bought some tokens on Etherdelta thinking the price was good for investment, not knowing about the hack. Now you're telling me my tokens are worthless. My order processed about 3 hours after the hack and I don't know what to do now. My money is gone? It was almost about 2 ETH. You're saying if I notice a good buy price, I should first start going through all your communication channels to see if you have been hacked? WTF? And where have you warned about not buying from Etherdelta? I can't see anything on this thread! |

I owned bitcoin in my wallet electrum, how do you claim to own btg?
You can export the private keys from Electrum and import into Coinomi wallet. Just google and you'll find step-by-step instructions. (To be safe, make sure to move your BTC from existing wallet to new wallet before entering those private keys anywhere) |

If you want to check if your BTC address have any BTG balance due to fork, the balance checker on their official site is working fine for me. You just need to put your public address there.

Anyone ever have this problem of missing eth ? so I made an order for 174 ETHD for about 0.074, I come back to my screen and Ive only got 0.025 left and never got any ETHD...  anyone know whats going on? members, today i just found a coin/token named "BitcoinQuick" to be highly suspecious . as because they are offering free airdrops . but to be eligible for this they want the members to add eth address in location box of bitcoin talk profile . this is not the problem . the problem that made me doubt on them is that they want 0.00 donation with high GAS (150.000) . this GAS volume i tried from my personal account with minimal amount was around 0.000001 Eth but the GAS on this Transaction was more than Eth 0.11 that means more than 30 USD . because i had 0.11 amount in my wallet thats why i was warned in preview of transation that you have low balance . so i cancelled the transaction .
so thats why i telling you to be aware of such scam they are just wasting your money in shape of free Airdrop . that i will call just a trick to make us fool . so stay away from them . their twitter account is @BitcoinQuick . block and report their twitter and bitcointalk profile as well. i do not have their bitcointalk account . any member can comment and tell others about their id .
As far as I understand, GAS is just a fuel to make sure your ether transaction goes through the network fast. The network only uses the amount of gas that is needed to process the transaction and any unused gas is returned to the sender. Gas does not go to the recipient.For example if you put 0.11 gas and the transaction only requires 0.00011 gas, the remaining 0.10989 gas is returned to you. Specifying high gas amount is only to make sure your transaction doesn't get stuck forever. They are not taking anything from you by specifying higher gas amount. They just want to make sure your transaction goes through fast. Correct me if anybody thinks this is not how it works. EDIT:I just checked their contract and here's one of the transactions someone made for the airdrop. Gas price is $0.56. Not a big deal.  |
