So I do realize what irc is used for, but could someone shed some light on the particular network, who is behind it and why is it the one being used? All I found from google was pretty much that the domain is registered by "s gear" of lilo free network. But even the domain lilofree.net has disappeared. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

They really should get someone with fluent English skills to redo the original post. And just interested; how much does the blockchain already take disk space?
If I take everything on my hard drive wrt Fastcoin minus the program, I count 908 Megabytes with an up-to-date ledger. Yikes. Sounds like it's gonna get real bloat real fast.

Is this for real? Anybody lost their hashes or received substantial rewards, or any other experiences? There was 0 results for it on these forums and even Google didn't seem to find any further info about the site. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Now all that's needed to rise the price is to people to hold on to their coins instead of all these low price dump-/panic-sales and see some rise on difficulty. Or atleast BBQ coins are the most tasty out of all cryptocurrencies. If the value drops I'd rather have useless BBQ-accessories than mouth full of feathers or be living on lite. Would also be awesome if more restaurants would adopt to using BQC. Go on, mine and dine, stop selling out on trades and the profit shall follow! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Superb pool, been diggin' for almost the whole time it's been up and can't complain. Only thing I'm missing is the donation address for BQC! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) EDIT: Guess I should have looked harder, i see it now! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I know this is a minor thing and not arguing about using wordpress on your site... but something about the blog.-prefix that makes the site look sloppy. Might want to consider removing it so it would be just http://bbqcoin.org/ or even better yet https:// Nice that someone picked this project up as it's now the beginning of BBQ-season here in Scandinavia. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Just to update. My coins were all intact after the site came up. Withdrew them instantly and the whole fun just cost me sweat and transaction fees. Would recommend for everyone else also to bail out until they set up decent servers and/or at least some sort of channel for news elsewhere than on the front page that they can't keep up...

Down for you guys as well?
Yup, class A luck on my behalf. Went under just after few minutes after my first ever deposit there and at the very same second as i clicked "Sell" on the exchange. Not feeling very comfortable about it. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Is there any official support channel, thread, etc. somewhere where I could read maintenance updates? Not that I know of. It's been down for a while now... I wonder if with the FTC price as it is it got hacked. That or just too weak servers for the amount of interest in trading as with the current rise on price. Or maybe both, that's my guess and sure hope to see the service up soon and my coins in some form still existing. What bugs me is that for the ask price i was thinking for i could have already closed a sweet deal on vircurex...

Hello again.
Yes, it was an error on your side, but not on your hardware. From the logs I see you where connected to a wifi network maybe, and your IP address kept changing every few minutes. Our system requires that your IP address does not change once you are logged in.
Cheers, khaos
Thanks! That figures, it seems my mobile connection (UMTS/HSPA+) jumps between link stations (or what ever they are called) ...and it seems to do it a lot even if the physical location doesn't change. Now to think of it i should have guessed so ...but didn't, so much appreciated! Problem solved thanks to this lead. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

...okay. And now it just works like a charm again. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Still sure beats me what just happened, once again I changed absolutely nothing in between. This really isn't good for my paranoia but happy to be logged in too. Could it have something to do with switching between two HSPA+ links as I am now mobile and connecting through such? Well at least my laptop is gonna get cleaned and swiped real tidy and it's gonna enjoy many scans tonight, that I am certain of. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Weirdness, the TOTP code inquiry gives me "Incorrect code" every time. Doing everything the same as i did after using it last time and at that time it worked fine. I'm clueless of what to try. Ideas? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) EDIT: I'm on the road now and didn't have time to setup the method in the howtogeek-article. So been using the webapp... http://gauth.apps.gbraad.nl/...which worked just fine before. Hm... Time synchronization, maybe? Ping is less than 20ms on all intervals, i usually have +25sec left over from the 30sec. Time & date settings untouched and on the same settings on the same laptop I used last time with the webapp. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) It isn't all that urgent at the moment, as i was only going to check out stats for fun on my spear time. But It's weird enough that i thought to ask is there anything strange going on that you could see. Will report how it goes with jAuth or some other alternative when i get my hands on one. For now being my home server is down because i got too greedy mining with it OC'd. lulz ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Yes, that's not normal, you should be getting almost exactly the same hashes as LTC. Restart your miner and try a different pool (preferably one with stratum support).
I'll second on that. I had my cgminer 2.4.11 configurations optimized for 7850 on LTC. I got no reduction on hash-rates or any change on hw-errors. This was true even when comparing between longpoll and stratum. Also the same rates with connecting to feathercoind on localhost. And I changed absolutely nothing else in my configuration than the pool addresses and the standard solo mining lines to ~/.feathercoin/feathercoin.conf server=1 daemon=1 rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass rpcport=8100 port=8101 rcpallowip=127.0.0.1 Wish I could even start guessing what could be causing your trouble. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

Don't know is it much worth lookin' fault from servers side but appreciate it. The error seems to be at my end. I just got home and i'm unable to reproduce the behaviour on other machines with the same version of firefox 20 cleanly installed on win7u and latest debian stable. Allthou i don't have 32bit xp on any other machines than my netbook. I think its time to scrub that laptop out. But a mystery indeed. If someone has 32bit win xp pro and the latest firefox working with no problems on the site I'd appreciate them telling. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I'm having a real headache trying to stay logged in to the mmcfe based fronts. It happens on few other pools too but give-me-ltc is my worst case so far, tried reloading more frequently so it isn't an session timeout(?), also tried not to refresh that often to see if it was the sites protection for bots and such, but no luck that way either. Checked my local regional and time settings and they are correct also. So if anyone could point out to "what gives?!" At the moment I have to login again about every 30-60secs and it's kinda a pain in the wrists. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Edit: WinXP pro and Firefox 20.0 with nothing special on the addons. (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0)

Whoa, thanks again! In libpam I trust! I think this latest HOWTO is pretty much the approach that i was looking for. Guess It's my morning cup of coffee and setting this up, didn't look too difficult, even thou not running ubuntu... no it's not because i don't trust Canonical, Debian just has more suitable collection of obsolete.. *ahem* ...I mean... stable packages for my paranoia. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

You are right with that, separated key storage on VPS/DS/Box/whatever will be more secure than mobile application. But it looks quite paranoid, I think. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Guilty as charged! But still feeling safe at your pool party. Приветствия! Edit: After all, it's java... and can't trust oracle! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
