61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Carrot Courses: Earn bitcoin while learning about Bitcoin on: March 27, 2022, 01:49:09 PM
Thanks for this information OP, never heard of the company before like the other people in this forum but I will gladly check them out, nothing to lose trying them out right? Hopefully this isn't just some site that does pay sats but at a really infinitesimal amount that you're time doing other things might do you more good.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there no altcoins that can replace Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2022, 01:04:15 PM
If you ask me, some of the altcoins that you're mentioning probably have more utility than bitcoin has, I mean look at ethereum, they probably have more projects attached to them compared to bitcoin. Yes bitcoin is valuable but it has to show that it's valuable eventually, right now, I believe it's just banking on the fact that it's the pioneer.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: online skills in the face of war on: March 27, 2022, 11:42:16 AM
I have to disagree with you regarding that claim and it's stupid to be honest. Digital skills aren't the only useful skill to get a job, there's soldiers, firefighters, nurse, linemen, farmer just to name a few so what I am trying to say is that there are other skills that you can develop that you will be able to continue to be useful during wartime.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Hypothesis with proof, reasoning, and statistical analysis on: March 25, 2022, 01:16:48 PM
TLDR; clickbaity article says that Peter Wuille is Satoshi.

Behind this misleading "proof, reasoning and statistical analysis" there's a coincidence that Peter registered in bitcointalk few days after Satoshi's last active date. Just another meaningless attempt where we try to unmask Satoshi.
People will always try to point out coincidence as much as they can because they're obsessed with answers that weren't really there, I don't mind these kind of people doing this stuff though, it's amusing that they're still obsessing over the enigma that we call Satoshi Nakamoto.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Western sanctions will push efforts to move away from Global reserve currencies on: March 25, 2022, 12:07:47 PM
If it wasn't wartime, they might probably be able to replace the system and implement it to their allied nations but right now, I don't think that it's possible for them to do just that because if they do then those sanctions were for nothing and that they're just a hopeless effort to stall Russia's conquest on Ukraine.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 25, 2022, 11:26:35 AM
If you see this as a sign to hold, remember that Elon is a multi-billionaire and he can afford to hold his bitcoins for a really long time without having to worry about the movements of the market so if you're not like him then be careful putting all of your money in bitcoin because you'll never be getting the same situation as Elon will get.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donating With Bitcoin on: March 25, 2022, 10:37:07 AM
Donating through bitcoin/crypto isn't new — I mean, we literally had a $10m+ donation to the Ukrainian government/charities.

Not sure if the crypto community in general would be keen to donate to religions though, besides probably some people with the same faith.
The crypto community in this forum will definitely not donate anything, that I am sure of, besides being cheapskate, the community in this forum are skeptic of donations done through bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies for that matter because there's a lot of scammers out there willing to do anything and defile anything just to take advantage of the people.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regarding the high loss rate of Bitcoin, has Satoshi Nakamoto considered? on: March 24, 2022, 04:15:51 PM
Well, you know Bitcoin is just 21 million but it is divisible to much more units of Micro Bitcoin. Therefore, the loss of even 5% Bitcoin won't affect the Bitcoin System. I will do something about it. If I have to do something in order to help the people who lost their Bitcoin.
5% is still a million bitcoin though so even if we are trying to think that it's no big deal, we still must keep an eye out on it just in case, things are starting to get a little concerning. And we shouldn't have Satoshi put in the spot regarding this problem, I'm sure that leaving the space meant that he or a collective group of people don't want to get involved in it because they think that it's already a system that can thrive on it's own.

If I get projects then I share a small percentage in the pool and share it with the participants. Please double check the OP and reconfirm me before adding you for the next cycle.

Cheers,
I don't have any campaigns and Roobet didn't accept my application.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afghans turn to cryptocurrencies amid US sanctions on: March 23, 2022, 01:11:04 PM
They're still going to need a huge overhaul of their financial system since they're going to need to make sure that they're not entirely dependent to USD but that's going to be tough given how even North Korea needs foreign currency like USD to make sure their country still function. Hopefully they will be able to live normally, a lot of innocent Afghans are being sandwiched to this Taliban occupation.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prince Philip of Serbia: "only way around inflation is Bitcoin" on: March 23, 2022, 11:10:46 AM
What surprises me here is that Serbia still has a royalty. I don't think that bitcoin is the sole solution to inflation as it's not really a bad thing if it's a controlled and maintained at a really low percentage of 2% or 3%, inflation isn't as bad as it sounds because it's a sign of growth. Maybe finding ways to create a deflation that can bring down the inflation rate to a normal level.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Saved Me. on: March 23, 2022, 10:31:40 AM
Good to know that bitcoin saved your lost money and it's a good news to have you in the crypto space making profits on your trades. Just keep away from your emotions on making trades because it will be the first factor that will eat you alive if you are not careful.
Don't stay too far away though, remember that you're allowed to be happy and sad whenever something happens to your investments in the market. This is an addition to all the stories about the beauty of bitcoin and how it's the saving grace for many people. Remember that you also need to branch out to other cryptocurrencies out there so there's a possibility that you might hit another jackpot.

76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do to speed up Bitcoin mass adoption? on: March 22, 2022, 01:30:39 PM
Spread the word about the beauty of bitcoin, remember that it's in your best interest that you talk about it and at the same time make sure that people will keep bitcoin in mind. Or if you're a business, then you can support bitcoin by advertising that you accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrency as a payment. Even just using bitcoin is already enough to help with the cause.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador's President Bukele gets An 85% Approval Rating on: March 22, 2022, 10:07:19 AM
I say that we shouldn't trust surveys at all, it's not like they've interviewed the whole population of El Salvador and not to mention that surveys create an illusion that something's perfect not to mention sometimes they're even manipulated. I wouldn't look at those polls, better to look at economic reports or the real status of the country by seeing what's really happening there.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Bitcoin Secret Revealed on: March 22, 2022, 09:33:16 AM
Now you are repeating nonsense... Bitcoin is a digital commodity and digital commodities doesn't exist in a physical world. I guess you have a problem understanding that not everything has to be physical in order for it to be real. Here is a definition of a new type of commodity - crypto commodity. But I'm sure you will say one more time that it's not a real commodity because you can't touch it.
People who still have a hard time wrapping around their brains around the fact that bitcoin is a commodity are people that still thinks that they have to touch everything physically because they still can't believe that the digital age has been here for a long time and they still stick to the old values that might or might not be applicable anymore. Also, stocks are somewhat a digital commodity so I don't get why they can't believe bitcoin is one when bitcoin isn't even the first one.
