61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOLANA GO TO...? on: April 15, 2022, 12:41:45 PM
What do you think about the SOL coin, they said they would join opensea so that currently the exchange on the Solana network is very crowded and withdrawals have been suspended on any exchange.
does this bode well for this coin or is it the other way around? Wink

all good news will have a good impact. so judging from the reaction, maybe this will be very good for the price of solana in the future. and this is also good for opensea. With the support of the Solana network, I think the trading volume at Opensea will increase again.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Ethereum merge on: April 15, 2022, 08:12:58 AM

Besides, PoW is somehow gets attention from global organization and I think the transition is somehow not that bad considering it's environmentally friendly.
maybe POS is more environmentally friendly, but this consensus is leading to centralization. the crypto community doesn't like this, that's why many do not like this change. so many think that upgrading POS will make ethereum lose its place. but I personally don't think so. I see POS will strengthen ethereum's position.

63  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022-2023 economy on: April 14, 2022, 01:49:09 PM
That's probably the dumbest post I've encountered lately. So let me get this straight. You recommend getting USDT over every other physical asset? (like real estate, gold, art, land etc)

USDT can literally evaporate overnight and nobody will be responsible for the destruction it will cause. It is that risky and dumb to hold USDT. USDT is not an official currency of any country. It is just a private token and not 1:1 backed by USD. (or any other assets) It is a total scam. Too bad you are advising people to buy into that scam.

yes you are right, these stablecoins are not really backed by USD. they can make any usdt, and only a fool would think holding it for long. the safest investment to deal with inflation for me is only GOLD. bitcoin and crypto are still not really tested, because they are too volatile. gold is by far the way out of inflation, the safest of value storage assets, and quite stable.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [DEBATE] Are meme coins ruining cryptocurrencies? on: April 14, 2022, 09:55:29 AM
I don't think it's damaging as long as the meme coin has good utility and ecosystem. After all, the meme Coin is also one of the hype and it contributed to the pump in the crypto market last year. and I think that what is destroying the crypto market is the coins that come from fraudulent projects. it is these coins that lower investors' confidence in investing in the crypto market. such as past market crashes resulting from the many fraudulent projects being released. at that time the market was really chaotic and it took a long time to recover
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will switch to PoS in Q3 2022 on: April 14, 2022, 07:54:58 AM
Ethereum may switch to PoS as early as Q3 this year. The source of this assertion is a post by an Ethereum developer on Twitter:

https://twitter.com/TimBeiko/status/1514010098145759232

Quote
It won't be June, but likely in the few months after. No firm date yet, but we're definitely in the final chapter of PoW on Ethereum

I wonder if this prediction will turn out to be correct or if there will be new difficulties and PoS will be postponed again. This time, though, the developers are determined, Tim Beiko even recommends not investing in new ETH mining equipment anytime soon. Will PoS be launched this year after all?

timbeiko just said this year, it could just be the end of the year POS will be launched instead of in Q3. if there is a problem there may be another delay, but I hope there are no problems considering this has been in development for years. so it could be as he said POS was released this year.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No condition is permanent in crypto on: April 13, 2022, 11:16:51 AM

In the crypto space no condition is permanent, get ready for both sides because they are inevitable.
that's the interesting part. because high volatility provides a large profit. bulls and bears, two things that are always present in any trade, so get used to this. as you said all of that is unavoidable, therefore we must always be prepared for any eventuality. don't buy when things are high, and don't hesitate to sell when things are really bad. the most important thing is not to be greedy, then we will be fine.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk - Hinted that it would be nice if Twitter Ads be paid in Bitcoin on: April 13, 2022, 04:32:16 AM

How much will the Bitcoin price spike.... if a decision like this was approved..... and will this boost the global economy?

If it's approved, I think there will be a new ATH. Twitter is one of the biggest social media and their advertising revenue is huge, I've read an article that discusses their income. more than 5B$ per year, and imagine if 20% of that ad revenue was paid through bitcoin. it would cause a ruckus, maybe it would trigger something else. which has a very good impact on the market.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba made its way to Robinhood on: April 12, 2022, 04:01:33 PM
Finally shiba inu get listed on the Robinhood exchange soaring shiba price up to 0.00003$ a few hours ago, what do you think about this? Do you think this listing have opened another door for shiba inu to pump once again or nothing is going to happen for now.

This soaring took me by surprise. when the average altcoin was depressed, SHIB recovered very quickly thanks to this news. but unfortunately I was left behind, I found out when the SHIB price was at 0.00029$. and now the price has started to fall again and the last time I saw the price was 0.000026$.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or CBDCs? on: April 12, 2022, 09:30:15 AM
If stablecoins are already proven to be successful, why re-invent the wheel with the launch of a new government-backed digital currency? Can't just governments back stablecoins themselves and avoid all of the hassle of creating new digital Fiat currencies from scratch?
essentially they want to create a stablecoin that they can actually control. USDT, UST, USDC and other stablecoins are not government owned. although the government can control it by making regulations but still it cannot be fully controlled. that's why they wanted to develop stablecoins from scratch. their goal is only one they don't just want a piece of cake, but they want to get it all. that's why they made this.

which became a problem when it became a reality, whether the crypto community accepts it or not. if they accept it then mainstream stablecoins like tether will be abandoned.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alternative smart contract platform is best? on: April 12, 2022, 05:13:16 AM

Which alternative smart contract platform do you think is the best? Is it Polygon, BNB, Cardano, or Solana?

the best alternative platform for me is Polkadot, but the Binance smartchain can also be considered because of its popularity.

Do you think the market is saturated with too many smart contract platforms? Or is there still room for growth? Will Ethereum remain as the "King of "De-Fi"" for long? Your input will greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

can be said to be saturated. Moreover, the smart contracts released on average only imitate ethereum. only a small number of them bring new innovations at this time, and even then they still have problems such as solana experiencing network outages.

so in the end ethereum will remain in its position as king for altcoins. become the platform of choice, even though ethereum will later adopt POS.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fall of BTC open the opportunity to buy alts on: April 11, 2022, 02:25:41 PM
If BTC fall down to 19,000$ again how much do you think that those top altcoins will cost? Solana, Avalanche, Terra and others, lately are you looking at the BTC chart? It looks like BTC will go Bear phase from now on, isn't it better to buy altcoins then than right now?... I'm hoping this opportunity comes though what about you?
the opportunity never came. 19000 is a very low price for bitcoin and it will not come true. because bitcoin's biggest support point is around 30000, so it means that if the bear market becomes a reality bitcoin will not fall below this support point. You could see it was early last year where bitcoin fell and many predicted that it could trigger a bear market. but in reality the market is very strong and bitcoin is back on the rise.  but despite all that, what you said was true. bear market is an opportunity to buy crypto at low prices.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance sponsorship on Lazio affect BNB price?? on: April 11, 2022, 10:34:42 AM
no, it's like tezos at Manchester United. since they became sponsors there has been no effect on the price, but Tezos is becoming more well known. this will also apply to binance(BNB), the price of the coin will not increase rapidly but the impact is that their branding is more developed. binance will benefit from the promotion side.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies eliminate the need for credit/debit cards in the future? on: April 11, 2022, 10:04:52 AM
credit/debit cards seem to be abandoned if you look at crypto developments today. but don't worry, the government will not stand by watch this centralized system die. debit/credit cards will always be used even if crypto is fully legalized. governments may not be able to control crypto, but not their citizens. they can make regulations that can limit the use of crypto even though it is finally legalized. such as imposing a tax on every transaction. it is possible for banks to use blockchain in the future, and all the credit/debit cards that everyone uses today are already using the blockchain network. meaning that even centralized systems will inevitably start using blockchain technology, or they will be abandoned. What will distinguish a centralized and decentralized system is the fee. it will be a never ending competition.

meaning debit/credit cards and all other centralized systems will not be abandoned.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still living projects from 2017/18 on: April 11, 2022, 06:39:24 AM
Polygon, Uniswap, Terra(luna), Bancor, and DENT. these projects were released in 2017-2018 and still exist today. once made ATH and repeatedly crashed, but persisted and continued to operate. but basically only a small number of projects released in 2017-2018 still survive. most of the projects released that year were either dead or forgotten.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happend to these Dex on: April 10, 2022, 12:11:17 PM
I've heard about etherdelta and idex but not anymore, can anyone share what happened to these two exchanges?
has been forgotten, because people prefer to use uniswap nowadays. but idex is slightly better because it still has trading volume. but the value is very much different when compared to uniswap or pancakeswap. one of the reasons  these two exchanges it to be what it is today is because it is on the ethereum network. High fees are one of the considerations for everyone using this DEX.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto becoming centralized? on: April 10, 2022, 09:46:00 AM
Do you think ever-increasing centralization is a cause of concern?
no, because as long as there are coins like bitcoin, monero, and other coins that still use POW. centralization is just a complement in the crypto space. I don't think centralization is bad, because we still need it. without the help of a centralized system, crypto would not develop as rapidly as it is today.

What would be the impact of tightening regulations over the entire crypto/Blockchain space?
The impact I feel the most is taxes. because the main purpose of regulation is tax. adoption drives regulation and eventually crypto will be controlled. in the future crypto will not truly become decentralized as regulation will govern the crypto space.

Will it still be able to survive? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

even though the regulations are getting stricter, crypto is still surviving. but what worries me is whether the hype will be the same as it is now?. crypto is noticed by the whole world today because of its decentralization. but if regulation could make crypto centralized, it would make the crypto space very different.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH going PoS is a huge mistake on: April 06, 2022, 01:29:16 PM
being like everyone else is not a bad thing. POS may be synonymous with centralized systems, but we have to admit this is exactly what ethereum needs today. there is nothing wrong with POS, this change will not make ethereum deprecated. whatever happens as long as it solves scalability issues, the ethereum community will accept it. so don't ever think that ethereum using POS is a mistake.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 05, 2022, 11:48:17 AM
Crypto can't survive without a bear market, if not everything will remain at one spot and no reason to invest anymore what is the best strategy to prepare for a bear market and at the same time keep making a profit from the present market condition.

Staking stablecoins is the best option. without needing to do anything we still get income. and stablecoins will not be affected by a bear market. so staking stablecoins is the safest option, while waiting for the bear market to come. compared to holding other coins like bitcoin, eth, or other crypto which when the market crashes such coins will fall.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: April 04, 2022, 10:02:18 AM
Bitcoin lost half of its value and it took at least 3 months to recover from it. It has been at least 4 months since bitcoin was at an all-time high. This decline was longer than the Q2 2021 bitcoin decline. Will it recover in a few months or in a year?

Time will tell. What are your predictions of when will bitcoin recover from this decline?
4 months is not a long time. in the past it took us more than 2 years to be able to see bitcoin breaking ATH again. and currently the price is not that far from ATH, so I think this is normal. if asked when bitcoin can break ATH again, I can't answer. one thing i believe, bitcoin will rally in the near future. during that rally bitcoin could just make a new ATH, or even just walk close to it. most importantly a bear market will never come.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it worth to invest in SFP ? ( SafePal ) on: April 03, 2022, 10:54:14 AM
actually i wanted to invest in one of the new coins / Tokens and i saw SafePal project and now I am confused, Should i invest in SFP or Polkadot

i Appreciate any Advise ?
The interesting thing about safepal is that you can join the "WHO" which is often held by safepal.  the condition is that you must have a number of safepal tokens in your account.  i've followed their WHO several times and got a pretty decent reward.

yes you are right, this is also a consideration. I, as a safepal wallet user, think that with the many benefits this wallet provides, the price of their tokens should be higher. so investing in SFP is a good choice, it will be profitable in the future. Polka dots are also very decent. although their network is still new but look at their current development is very extraordinary. So instead of choosing one, I'd rather invest in both.
