820kh/s for Nitro+ 570 4Gb it's optimal?
Is there a possibility to hash 1k+ with this card?
Have you modded your mem straps?
If not, do it. You should be getting over 1k easily with this card.
They were modded long time ago for eth the card is getting 30+mh avarage there, is there any difference for cryptonight?

I can't get to work T-Rex as managed miner, it always cut 2 letters from stratum. What is wrong?
It's from the begining when you added t-rex to your software.
Other miners working without any problems.

Second thing as profit switching it works with zergpool or nicehash.

Where we can download new miner? Those links mentioned here previously do not work. On github there is no compiled relase.
Mining ProgPOW starts with fork block?
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gtx 1060 3g ethash on: September 04, 2018, 03:04:15 PM
I have 12 gpus gtx 1060 3g asus dual all same brand , on ethash only 4 of them works on 18MH/s the rest of them works on 15MH/s , don't know why they are all same brand asus dual , anyone know how to fix this or an overclock can fix this

I still have a couple of Asus dual fan 1060/3GB cards mining MUSIC and getting 21MH/s out of them with 70% power limit and a very modest +200 on memory clock (no change to core clock). They have Samsung memory, though.

Then you can easy max them to 25 MH, add +700 to clock

Hello
There is something wrong with T-Rex miner when i try to use it throug "managed templates" and definied pool. It alwasy eats first two letters from pool adress.
I tried to add random two letters to push through the correct adress but it's not connectting too. The problem exists all the time when i started use your software, im unable to use T-Rex through Awsomeminer. Other miner like z-enemy, ccminer works fine.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.9.0 — NVIDIA GPU Miner on: September 03, 2018, 08:35:50 PM
Hello, does anybody has experience with this miner with 12 GPU rigs? 8 GPU rig is fine on hiveos I have CPU utilization 2-3. But on 12 GPU rigs I am reaching 10 and system is not responding. In both rigs I have celeron g3900. Do you think that an uprade of CPU would help? I have the same issue with z-enemy fork and T-rex. Older versions of ccminers worked fine, driver is 390.48 as newer versions had issues with autofan.
Smth wrong with your rig, 12x 1060 3gb works fine cd and zenemy. Check riser cables, sometimes if one is broken it crashes miner and utilize 100% cpu.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ZenCash | Horizen - Officially Announces NO ANTI-ASIC FORK - RIP GPU Miners on: August 30, 2018, 11:06:24 PM
To this day the only argument people have against ASICs is that it has damaged the profitability of their personal GPU rigs. GPU miners are purely motivated by greed, and could care less about any of these coins and what they are used for. The BS claims about centralization everyone likes to parrot are really pretty meaningless. There are already large scale GPU farms out there, I have personally managed over 12k GPUs at my farm. Buying and running an ASIC at home is much more cost effective than building a GPU rig these days.

I personally replaced my 50 GTX 1070s with a single z9 mini at home while dropping power consumption from nearly 8000 watts down to a tiny, quiet 400w device that takes up hardly any space. This train of ASIC hate makes no sense nor is this feeling of entitlement that the devs of coin XYZ you are mining have some responsibility to counter ASICs just because you are gracing them with your hash rate. You and your 2 overpriced GPU rigs in the corner of your house are not doing anything meaningful, get over yourself.
Ok but those 50 1070s gave you over150usd/day pure profit few months ago. This one Z9 mini gives you 10usd/day and have no resale value soon Smiley
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bad news from Nvidia on: August 25, 2018, 08:17:22 PM
The less cards on the market in theory , the more rewards for the ones left to be used in mining. The fact is I am not seeing it in practice, in fact the difficulty for mining ethereum is skyrocketing day by day.

A mining rig with 6 x Rx 580 can only make 0.50 mBTC daily for a hash rate of 180 mhs. I guess it is game over for mining with Gpu-s.
Not true, the same net hashrate over the month
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: At what price point people will stop mining? on: August 22, 2018, 09:00:42 AM
well, it`s really simple - hack the shit out of nicehash, bring them down completely and you could mine with nice profit eth, raven or whatever that is on their algo list.
Yeah remember when nicehash was hacked, mining profit rise 50% in one day Cheesy
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: At what price point people will stop mining? on: August 18, 2018, 10:40:56 PM
-privacy (if you're mining your own blocks they are harder to trace)
That's the point Smiley When you don't have any "cash in" transactions to centralized exchanges which usually want documents from you then you can easy cash out money without your name too.

Cashing out without name is difficult. Gota use localbitcoin and do all that leg work. As a miner probably best to go by the book, maximize your equipment deduction.
In my country there are companies what work like currency exchanges, they take your btc without any names for cash.

Bitcore team what do you think about FPGAs or ASICs on your algo?
Are you going to fork or not?

Regards

Hello
Im trying to add t-rex miner manually. I managed to get it working but not getting any stats "Interface Offline"
Anyone have an solution?

Why? AM fully supports the new version of T-Rex. Simply use the newest version of AM.
I have newest AM and T-Rex. Maybe im doing smth wrong?
It's not on predefinied list so im adding it manually.
I have set up compatibility mode Full and compatible software CCminer

EDIT: When i don't use comatibility mode i can't add it to profit switcher.

Are you using Development Preview versions of AM?

T-Rex support was added since 5.3.4
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676942.msg42624417#msg42624417

Follow the instructions in the post to get Development Preview versions, or download from the direct link from the post by Patrike.

T-Rex provides it's own API in JSON format, thus AM won't read it when you set it to ccMiner API compatible mode and that's why you are seeing "Interface Offline"
Got it, already it's working, but there is a 0.5.1 T-rex, how to update to 0.5.6?
When i change the autodownload links with my zip 0.5.6 it's not working, standard message about virus or smth from awsome I need to manually replace t-rex.exe in remote folder and then it starts with new version but want to work it with autoupdate.

go on here https://www.crypto-coinz.net/crypto-calculator/ put it 10 x 1080ti's and see for yourself i do mine a tad more than they calculate with the ewbf  v.03 but anyway im not here to convince you to mine zero just some advice and personal experience with a certain coin might be helpful or not
And that's how you destroyed your profit Cheesy
Ppl never learn

Very fast miner, get best results on PHI2 but it's a bit buggy. Sometimes on 9x1070ti hashrate is halving on every card i need to restart miner.
Other thing sometimes after mining dev fee it does not switch to my pool, it's mining nothing i think. Shares are not displaying.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is your local Craigslist / Kijiji flooded with GPUs ? on: June 29, 2018, 09:33:04 PM
Surprised to see this thread bumped up. Almost forgot I created it last year.

It's funny how it was almost a year later for mining profitability to drastically reduce to the point where we see loads amounts of GPUs all over Craiglists and eBay.

I also wonder too if we will ever get a mining boom again. Even if the ETH and BTC prices finally start going back up, the difficulties are just crazy high to go back to the $5/day/RX 470 profit levels.
In bearish market they are less coins profitable to mine so diff is higher, when prices are going up more coins is profitable and diff is going down a bit or stay the same level. When they are extreamly high profits per card many ppl start buying GPUs and diff start rising again Cheesy So it's normal market process imo.
