What is up with the coins only available on HitBTC, HitBTC has a lot of reviews saying it is a SCAM and withdrawals cannot be made. Anyone here with experience?
they trade ious, basically don't own coins. don;t know much about the exchange. Thanks, anyone actually buy these IOU's? Is it legit or is everyone waiting for an ICO? |

Guys is it profitable to stake if I have 1250 shifts? Is there any pools list?
If you setup a delegate and are voted to the top 101 delegates, yes you can forge. Most just join pools and you will receive payouts with 1250 shift. There is a pools list a few pages back in this thread. Best way you can keep up is by joining Ryver Shiftnrg group  |

Just invested in shift.
How did I come across shift? I looked at the worst performing coins of the day and shift was among other coins who was down almost 40% I think. So I had look at a few candidates and shift surprised me by it's innovation and solid tech.
I normally don't buy alt coins on a whim but after studying at all the details of shift and knowing the devs are about to launch phantom, I can't resist the temptation of buying this coin on the dip.
In retrospect, maybe I should have waited a bit more because the market is bearish until august 1st. Who knows? it can drop to 0.01$ January 2017 prices.
edit: just realize this is my first post since I registered to this forum in 2011! LOL my status reads "brand new" and my account is 6 years old. Been around lurking and reading. Guess I had nothing to say until now.
You are joining at the perfect time. Phantom in testnet and will be on mainnet soon. Join the Ryver group for Shift. Lots of discussion and development. and of course, Welcome to Shift! |

Why some people put sell wall at this price, they will regret next year...
They probably need the money. Some ppl that are delegates take withdrawals every so often as a source of income. Lots of people are bearish on the entire market right now... but I think after August things will look better. |

Shift is actually delegated proof of stake. So delegates forge Shift, it is not mined. Delegates run a node using a VPS or dedicated server and receive Shift assuming they are ranked in the top 101 delegates. You can also receive Shift by being a part of a delegate pool, which just requires you to vote for a delegate. |

There is no volume for the moment, just 11btc.
When I checked there was a large buy wall. Over 120 BTC on the order books. Looks like the orders were filled or canceled. |

i'd 534 shf on shift's web wallet on this address and about 2 moths ago they were stolen by somebody, how is it possible? my passphrase was secure with many others on my desktop and shift is the only cryptocurrency i'm missing. i suggest you to check about security holes into the web wallet. i guess there's no chance to recover the loss... If someone stole your Shift out of your wallet, you could at least see where the funds were sent using the block-explorer. The FIRST thing you should do is join the SHIFTNRG group on Ryver. There are a lot of helpful members and devs that can assist you. |

You guys really need marketing team.
They will start taking time on marketing when there is full working and tested Phantom.This will be soon, calm down people.  P.S. thx all for dumping the coins, I love buying on dips. I hope they keep dumping. I could use some more Shift |

correct, if i'm right announcement and brand new version for testnet will follow today. Shift REALLY needs a marketing team Yes they need but they don't have funds, last time I check they was asking for fill up their team's wallet with more coins to expand the team and hire more devs to speed up development.... but people didn't let them do it... so This was in last months newsletter correct? When a lot of users were upset that 1 million coins were to be added for the dev team. I am willing to help with what I can. I am still very new to the community though, so I will need more time to familiarize myself with all things Shift. |
