61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH pottential 10X or more? on: May 16, 2019, 07:38:49 PM
This was a thread that was created almost eight months back when the price was almost the same as now. In specific it was stagerring between $190-$210. By that time the potential of ethereum was questioned. The price has fallen low and now once again gained good growth along with bitcoin.
We have seen that in recent days, ethereum has risen in price from $ 200 to $ 267. However, to predict its further price behavior, it means to predict the price of Bitcoin. No cryptocurrency is free in its price. All depend on the price dominance of Bitcoin. And here many other factors come into force and it is impossible to take them all into account.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should Unit against Scam Project As a Crypto Community?? on: May 16, 2019, 05:29:45 PM
After lots of frustration , lots of loss , almost loosing hope now market is recovering . As a crypto community well wisher I am requesting Bitcointalk community as well as other crypto community to fight against Scam projects . So that people should not loose belief on Crypto .

Why i am saying this because ?? . We have seen lots of Scam projects ICO's in past in that lots of investors hard earned money gone . It was became exactly like .COM bubble lots of investors lost their money . These scammers took away this money from crypto space .

1) Now as a community we should not encourage ICO'S for time being . As if now there is enough projects funded in crypto space for next 100 years
2) We need investors who believe in new era of currency . Also needs to attract NEW investors . For that we have to keep Crypto Space Clean .
3) Crypto projects are necessary but we are having enough project for a time being . Community  has to understand this . Find a good project already in a place . Support that kind of projects . Which is giving real value to crypto space . Instead of investing in Scam project and getting into trap .

Finally we should keep away our Greedy mentality for sometime we should work together for long term vision of crypto currency .

Note : I know already some of community members really working hard to fight against Scam projects . I have huge respect for them . Now we should also give contribution .

Written a lot. You are calling to combat fraud in ICO projects, but did not indicate at all what methods you propose to combat such fraud.
I think that the most effective method for combating fraud in ICO projects will be government regulation of ICO activities at the place of their registration. When the relevant government agencies verify the documents of each member of the ICO team, establish certain rules for collecting and deducting funds, then fraud is unlikely to be possible at all.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: How cash is becoming a thing of the past | DW Documentary (Banking documentary) on: May 12, 2019, 08:05:34 PM
The world is going into a cashless society were people do not need physical cash to make purchases and for other transactions. It is why the cryptocurrencies can be used with time.
I’m sorry you’re wrong, things will remain this way. Nobody is going to dump cash to make use of cryptocurrency, even if they do, they will still continue to make use of banks and other stable means of making transactions just like PayPal and the rest of them, which still has something to do with banks. There are people in our community today that knows nothing about technology. So take some chill pill.
Of course, nothing will change so quickly. To begin to disappear paper money, it is necessary that much has changed dramatically for the better. We must achieve a very high level of development of engineering and technology. They should lead us to a completely different quality of life. We will first populate the planets Mars, Evening, the moons of the moon, possibly Titan and Europe. We will learn to catch asteroids with the minerals we need, and then there will be a different quality of life. However, this is still far away. In any case, our grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the seventh generation will still pay in cash.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: May 12, 2019, 07:36:44 PM
In the next 100 years, do you think Governments will create their own cryptocurrency or digital currency that will replace fiat currency, i.e. coins, paper money, the paper dollar,  etc.?

If it does happen, will it be like bitcoin or will it still represent gold like how today's money works?
I think no, government need money that they can control so create decentralized currency is very big mistake. The velocity of money will affect the country's economy so if government cannot control the number of money that spread in the market then it will become big trouble. I learn about it in my university.
Yes, governments will always support their national money.
And they can have various forms - cash, non-cash, or their various combinations. Governments can also issue their own centralized cryptocurrency, which they can fully control and interact with their own money. However, even its own cryptocurrency is unlikely to ever replace cash. Maybe in three hundred years ...
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC Requirement for Bounty Managers before they require KYC to bounty hunters. on: May 12, 2019, 07:08:17 PM
I feel like it's not fair for bounty hunters to submit KYC when joining bounty campaigns because we are not an investor. We will never be involved with any anti money laundering because we don't invest with money but with TIME and Effort instead. Personally I'm NOT very comfortable submitting my ID's for the simple reason that these are startup companies and we don't even know if they can be trusted.
If the ICO bounty campaign manager shows us his data and passport copies, it will not reduce the likelihood of fraud by the ICO team. Even if the manager of the bounty campaign is a member of the ICO team, he can use someone else's passport and other people's data, as many of us do right when passing these illegal KYC checks.
The problem of fraud among ICO projects can be solved only by government regulation of this type of activity. This can eradicate or at least significantly reduce the amount of fraud among such projects. Any other form of ICO command control will be ineffective.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: May 11, 2019, 08:17:51 PM
With the price of Bitcoin being so volatile should we ever consider buying or even holding if we have bitcoins?

What are your thoughts??? What should we do??

As it stands today at this moment, the Bitcoin volatility index reads:
4.57% the latest 30-day volatility estimate
3.54% the latest 60-day volatility estimate

The bitcoin volatility index for present day can be seen at: https://btcvol.info/

My opinion of bitcoin longterm can be investigated here in this post titled "Hacks & puppets & forks - how to destroy bitcoin": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1834310.0
Four percent of volatility per month, it can now be regarded more as the stability of the price of Bitcoin, and not its high volatility. From the second half of 2017, Bitcoin began to show real price volatility. Now there is a good increase in the price of Bitcoin, which is also a manifestation of its volatility. Cryptocurrency volatility is both a positive and negative quality of cryptocurrency, and this market is different from others.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: What's it like to live on crypto instead of Banks? on: May 11, 2019, 08:05:39 PM
Imagine living your life without depending on Banks ever again. Using only cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, you can make your own income stream and use the coins earned to buy stuff from merchants who accept them. Every day, cryptocurrencies have been going closer towards full mainstream adoption. However, there are still some things which prevent crypto from being used over traditional payment systems we've been accustomed to for a long time.

Nonetheless, what's it like to live only on crypto instead central-bank issued fiat money? Cheesy
This will not happen for several reasons. First of all, people can not live using only cryptocurrency. This requires special living conditions, but they are far from being the same everywhere. In addition, many groups of people simply categorically will not use cryptocurrency and there can be a lot of reasons for this.
The second, and even more spring, reason is that a transition from a conventional currency to a cryptocurrency is necessary for a state, but no state will ever give up its national money, because the normal functioning of the economy of each state depends on them.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: China says rejecting physical cash is illegal amid e-payments popularity on: May 10, 2019, 05:01:02 PM
This is a very wise reminder of the Chinese government. Some are so enthusiastic about cryptocurrency that they consider it a panacea for all economic and financial issues. Far from it. The old system of financial relations has been formed for thousands of years and it will be a great folly to destroy it and this may entail irreversible negative consequences.
The national currency must continue to exist. This is a prerequisite for the existence of the state itself.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin warns of financial crisis the world ‘has not yet seen’ on: May 10, 2019, 04:45:19 PM
It seems that Putin simply once again threatens the world, and is absolutely far-fetched. How can international sanctions against Russia cause a global economic crisis? The global economic crisis threatens only Russia for its aggressive piracy actions against its neighbors. This is the usual and generally accepted practice of the world community to pacify the aggressor, which for some reason Putin calls unilateral actions.
Almost all of these international sanctions against Russia are connected with the attack on Ukraine and the seizure of its territory, the conduct of direct and hybrid war against it.
70  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-08] Hackers Are Shuffling Binance’s Stolen Bitcoin on: May 10, 2019, 04:30:29 PM
It appears that the BTC from the Binance hack is now being moved around to new addresses. The transactions are continuing to be sent out in smaller and smaller amounts, from one account to the next. Amy castor, a block-chain analyst, answers why the BTC is being moved so quickly with such a high rate of activity:

“Money laundering 101: breaking the transactions up into smaller and smaller amounts making them more and more difficult to track”

It is amazing that with the modern technology we have, people can be able to see and watch the movement of the stolen cryptocurrency but there is nothing we can do about. The technology we are employing is helpless in stopping the said movement...this is one thing I realized that no matter how advanced we are essentially we are still limited and sometimes powerless. This is akin to watching people being murdered while your hands and feet are tied. Such is the irony of a society relying so much in technology.
We want to be anonymous and use confidentiality when using cryptocurrency. These are the consequences of such opportunities. However, with a strong desire and abilities of the police, if you watch such movements of stolen bitcoins for a long time, in the end it is quite possible to reach real criminals. Sooner or later they will make mistakes and reveal themselves. The police just need to do their job conscientiously.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Should I change the principle of profitability of the cryptocurrency market? on: May 09, 2019, 02:53:07 PM
Now the cryptocurrency market is built in such a way that we keep our cryptocurrency until we feel that it has reached a price peak, and then we rush to sell it immediately in order to make a profit, that is, the difference between the price of the purchased and sold coin.

It seems to me that this is not a very convenient version of the cryptocurrency market. It turns us into greedy speculators who do not care about the project itself, for which the coin or token was created. It would be better if we had the opportunity to receive passive profits, dividends as a result of the retention of cryptocurrency. Then we would feel that we are co-owners of the project and would be interested in developing it.

We now see how very popular are ICO projects, such as Miracle Tele and others, which provide for such an opportunity. What do you think about this?

73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE REALLY NEED MORE STABLE COINS? on: May 09, 2019, 02:19:14 PM
stable coints are very good for mass transactions like USDT but do we still need more stable coins ... Huh
I think that can happen if the need for real transactions in the community between countries happens, maybe ...
but basically the main goal of cryptocurrency is not to make stable coins or just a business opportunity to earn money, but more than that ... for the future
Of being the state of instability for all crypto coins makes a reason why we still here and get profited. Due to its price fluctuations make everyone feel better than being in a stable market.
I really don't know and I don't believe that everyone wanting to have a stable coin, maybe everyone wants to have a stable market than of prices.
A stable cryptocurrency market and stable coins are completely different things. A stable market for decentralized cryptocurrency is not possible. At the same time, stable coins are not full-fledged cryptocurrency, because they are not created in order to bring us profit. Their task is to provide convenience when working with cryptocurrency. Therefore, indeed, the more stable coins there are, the easier it will be to use a cryptocurrency. For example, I want my state to issue its stable coin, which would correspond to the price of the national currency. It would be easier to use and transfer national money to a cryptocurrency and vice versa.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fundraising scam ,the way I see new projects on: May 09, 2019, 02:01:20 PM
It's just people blindly investing into these scam and not doing a extensive research about the project and it ended up back firing them in the end, ico's now are just cash grab for people behind the project and i don't think there are developers behind the project at all, all we need to do is stop feeding scammers money.
No matter how extensive our research is, we are not able to find complete information about the project and its team. Most likely, the information we receive will be from the same ICO team, about which we collect information, or written by others on their order. We do not have the capabilities of law enforcement, and therefore our verification will in any case be incomplete and one-sided.
In order to eliminate fraud among ICO projects, it is necessary that it is carried out by the relevant state authorities of each state at the place of registration of ICO projects.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: Quickly accumulate Bitcoin before the market breaks down 6K$ in the second 2019 on: May 06, 2019, 06:10:16 PM
If the upward trend in the market continues, we will be able to see the price of bitcoin at $ 6,000 more this month. Also, Bitcoin can grow in price over the course of the year, although we do not expect strong market growth yet. At the same time, buying Bitcoin or other types of promising cryptocurrencies is the right to choose each of us. Sometimes a coin or token can grow in price much higher than bitcoin. There are tokens that have grown in price by hundreds of thousands, and some millions of times.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin on its way to $20,000? on: May 06, 2019, 05:56:52 PM
$20,000?

Probably around 6-12 months are the halving (which is 12 months from now). I’d say we’ll reach a new ATH between late 2020 & mid 2021.

It’s going to be like a rocket from there though, expect to potentially see $100,000 per coin by 2022.
By the end of 2021, we may see a bitcoin price of $ 20,000. However, we may not see the price of 100,000 dollars for a very long time or not at all. Even if the cryptocurrency will continue to develop well and enter our lives, at the same time it is necessary for Bitcoin to maintain its competitiveness. Now we can not say that Bitcoin fully meets the criteria of the leader of cryptocurrency. New coins and tokens are developing very quickly, which cannot be said about Bitcoin itself.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: May 05, 2019, 05:24:09 PM
What do you think, how many people are ready to sell their goods or services on crypto? Let's say that we have service which help quick and easy to build online store and sell for cryptocurrency. What kind of reasons can motivate people to start a crypto business?
In my opinion any business, but especially the small ones should be open for any way to obtain income in a legal way so it is normal for businesses to adopt, at some point, bitcoin and other altcoins.
Here, I see, there are no comments from individuals who have already had the practice of using cryptocurrency as a means of payment specifically as sellers of various goods and services. Before you do this, you must first determine and agree with the tax service what documents you will provide for the report on the expenditure of goods and money so that the tax authority can verify the payment of the tax. Such documents are very difficult to submit if the calculations are in cryptocurrency. Otherwise, you not only will not make a profit, but you will still be repaying the arisen debts for a long time.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: May 05, 2019, 04:51:41 PM
I would not mind sending my personal documents, but if I knew for sure that they would not fall into bad hands, would not be stolen or hacked, would not be transferred to third parties or sold.

The fact of the matter is that there are no guarantees from the ICO teams. Moreover, this activity is not regulated and each team collects confidential information at its discretion, which is at its discretion and stores and uses.
However, the question remains open as far as legitimate is the requirement for bounty hunters to be tested by KYC. Not a single ICO team has yet confirmed this and did not specify which law specifically gives them such a right and what exactly is written in such a law. I am sure that such a requirement is illegal.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the IEO cheating / Should I invest in IEO? on: May 04, 2019, 06:26:43 PM
Why do new investors consider the IEO a scam / Should I invest in IEO?
The fact that IEO is a form of mobilization is very smart because it minimizes risks for investors. However, there are two big problems that are common in IEO: the number of tokens that are being held too much by some people, if the token floor will bring a good amount to them, if the token is reduced to the floor then they will quickly take a loss or sell out of the market but the big risk is to be in new investors. Therefore, for those who have lost their money in this market, they lose faith and consider it a fraud.
Everyone please rate IEO projects on the exchanges
I have not heard yet that any of the investors expressed the opinion that the IOO projects are frauds. Their prospects check exchanges that take them to the listing. Probably more than a hundred of IEO have already been conducted through the exchanges, but so far we have not heard at all that at least one project of them has turned out to be a fraud. Of course, the successful completion of IEO does not guarantee that these projects will continue to develop, and their tokens will increase in price. These are all the same projects of ICO and in the future their fate will also be diverse.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: May 04, 2019, 06:12:06 PM
On the ethereum platform created more than two thousand different tokens. Considering that it is necessary to have ethereum to move them, this coin will always be in demand. This is one of the most reliable and promising coins among all cryptocurrencies. Therefore, of course, you should always have it in our wallets.
