61  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can coin fork modify transactions on: July 16, 2018, 09:22:23 AM
As explained you can do anything you like in a fork and that's the main problem. The blockchain in itself is "trustless" but whenever someone does a fork (or creates a new coin), there needs to be some form of trust in either the developer who does it or the one who is responsible. You can (and should) validate his/their work but not every one of us can e.g. because of information asymmetry.

Forks are always risky, not only because of the needed trust involved but also because of dilution - not everyone will follow the new fork.
62  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Wieviel kann man mit Faucets verdienen? on: July 16, 2018, 08:08:48 AM
Hi Leute.

Without any significant activity on the exchange, the price won't reflect the true value. For this, we need to wait for the full release but since we are on Beta .3 already, there is hope that we may see it sooner than later. Afaik the team held all it's set goals so far regarding the roadmap.

In return, 10,000 bonus A2A(B) tokens will be distributed among those who voted

Unfortunately, there is no way explained that may show that we voted so it's pretty much the normal KuCoin "competition" Undecided
65  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are transactions to and from an exchange tracable? on: July 13, 2018, 08:25:03 AM
Let's take coinbase as an example. Can someone (except coinbase) trace my coins if I send them to an exchange address and then send it to another address? I always see that the funds on incoming transactions are sent to another address and combined with many others. On outgoing transactions there are also many inputs and this should it make hard to trace it.

So, can someone tell if I sent the coins from one address through coinbase to another address?

Technically it's possible, but the more "mainstream" and smaller your transaction is, the more likely it is that it can't be traced directly. If you make a huge transaction of a rarer coin/token to the exchange and then withdraw the same amount, it would be pretty easy to trace it.

The loyalty program isn't the only thing that must be on point. Besides the things mentioned before, continuous improvement (and fast) is a must. The competition is so far ahead already. Once out of beta the development must be fast and people must perceive it as such. Otherwise, it will take a long long time to crawl out of mediocracy like so many other exchanges.
67  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a signature creator tool out there? on: July 12, 2018, 08:08:49 AM
I doubt that there is one as people tend to make money so creating a tool (and releasing it) which automates thes process would undercut that  Cheesy

But there is a thread from roslinpl, it teaches some very neat tips and tricks for creating a good signature.
It's very detailed and I thought that you could add to it  Smiley

68  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who are the most influential crypto influencers? on: July 12, 2018, 07:29:52 AM
Depends on what your focus lies. For Bitcoin/Fintech there are regular lists that get published that are very much alike, e.g. this one: https://www.rise.global/top100-blockchain-infuencers

Listing Rank, Influencer, "Power Score", "Kred Influence", "Kred Outreach"
Kred: http://home.kred/ (Influence Score and Platform)

As I said, there are many more lists like that one.

is there anybody that would like to buy this new coin?
how can i sell it or change it to bitcoin?

There are a lot of coins around and the Beginner & Help section might not be the best place to look for someone who is interesting buying your coins.
Maybe you want to check out the Marketplace (Altcoins) instead: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0
70  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do i find my drafts? on: July 11, 2018, 09:00:15 AM
You also find the link to your drafts below every reply-window, so you don't even have to have to bookmark or remember the link:

"Drafts are saved whenever you preview or post a topic, post, or PM. Up to 100 drafts are kept. Drafts are deleted after 7 days."
71  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners need guidance!! on: July 11, 2018, 08:00:59 AM
It is a fact that most senior members here got their rank base on  them been here but not on merit since most of them post which add nothing to the forum but shitposts. Since you have been here for long doesn't mean you are knowledgeable than a newbie that registered today.

There never is a guarantee that someone is more knowledgeable than someone else just because he invested more time in something (or spent more time on it).But there is a positive correlation.

"70% of basic A2A distribution is done so far". (Source Qi in the STeX Telegram group)
So we can hope that the ETH network gets better and the rest will be done.

Those delays are just annoying but it's not the fault of STeX that the ETH network has issues.

Can somebody guide me how to begin in bitcoin for earnings
.I am new.I don 't know anything yet

So, how did it go? Did the answers you got help? You know, it's always nice to reply to people who helped you out especially when you're new to a topic. Give some feedback, invest some time and by that help others that maybe have the same question you had. That's one of the reasons this forum was made in the first place, so ask, learn and then contribute  Smiley

Can you elaborate on this a bit, please? How will this be structured and are there any special requirement needed for investors? Also, do you have any projections on this that you might want to share as ETH has 18 decimals? How far right of the dot are we talking about Cheesy
77  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [HELP] NOOB HERE My screen goes black after driver install on: July 06, 2018, 12:10:24 PM
As mentioned before, this might be the wrong forum for you. It's at least the wrong one for this kind of question.

Nevertheless:

I believe I read somewhere that first you must conect the monitor into the integrated video card, disable it, and then proceed to do the installation of the drivers, is this correct?

Be sure that you chose the correct driver for your card. It's irrelevant whether the monitor is connected or not if you get a black screen, there is a driver issue (or you chose the wrong resolution resp. refresh rate).

As you didn't specify which card you've got, if it's an older one you also might need an older driver. When posting your question in another forum, give them this info, it's kind of crucial for someone who wants to help you  Wink

PS: It would be great if you could close your thread. Bottom left
78  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: wanna be a Legendary on bitcointalk forum on: July 04, 2018, 09:26:32 AM
Hello All

I want to learn about all the function of blockchain technology, I can Read and understand English much enough( I'm from India).
But I can't find what I'm looking.....
Anyone here! for teach something..

The rank has nothing to do with your supposed goals. There might be some form of correlation but you don't need a rank in order to learn new things.

I'd start by explaining what you are looking for exactly. Everybody can teach you "something" but I highly doubt that this would benefit anyone. Maybe start in your local forum, if you think that there is a language barrier. Get familiar with the space and try to find you what you are looking forward to learn.
79  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you use cryptocurrency cards? on: July 04, 2018, 09:06:44 AM
Is there a good overview of the available cards, including conditions/fees/features? (not including the dead projects that is Cheesy)
Furthermore, are there projects that don't use a card issuer or are their own issuer (a bank)?
80  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tokenization on: July 04, 2018, 08:48:37 AM
I read this on a news but I don't understand what it means yet and also, how that can be helpful for a company ?

A bit more context would be great but in essence, tokenization refers in crypto space to the process of converting items into tokens (on a blockchain) in order to give them an inherent value. Items can be anything: assets, actions, processes, etc.
