In my own opinion I think there is no lay down structure on how to raise a fund during the ICO, and any team can choose to raise their money any way they want, maybe if they start with private sale, they won't get much support to continue their project building and want to seek the funds first through ICO, I think it's their decision and they must have reason for that.
Good point,any ICO can choose between how they will raise funds its their own tactics and no one could stop someone doing that because ICOs are unregulated just like what cryptocurrencies are supposed to be.But IMHO successful ICOs shouldnt have any private sale after because if they have reached the hardcap why would they do that? for the sake of money? |

I think this year not be a good year like 2017 because in this year too many bad news hit cryptocurrency and another problems make crypto seen bad like exchanger got hacked and ETC. However market will rise in the end of November, just believe on that  This year is not good for everyone who bought in the peak, but if you are a day trader of course there's always an opportunity even it is bear market. Always set your mindset in good things because it will help you to ease your pain from being broke. I do believe also in this coming the bull market will show up. |

Well, if that would happen I’d personally buy a bunch of bitcoins again. See it as, maybe, one of the last chances to get some “cheap” bitcoins. Well, I’m a real believer and therefor think that It will never ever go below $1000 again. The only time this could happen is that a bug would be exploited or a 51% attack takes place. Only time will tell  There's no impossible in our world it can be happen in an instant but I will be so happy once the bitcoin hit the $1000 mark. So, I can buy at least 1-2 bitcoins and hold it until in will reach the 1 million USD mark. My dream is too much but liked what I've said there's no impossible in this world. |

cryptocurrencies are not the one that to be taught in schools. but the blockchain technology is. there are already some programs about teaching about blockchain. and after people adapt it more, i also think that they will teach out children about blockchain.

Hoping so that this will happen soon as being a crypto holder you need to be very much patience and as when I was a newbie in this crypto field, I have been told few things and the most important part of that lesson is that these crypto currencies are very volatile in nature so I needs to be very much patience and should learn to hold my currency in order to make maximum profit out of the box and keeping that thing in mind, I think it’s been 7 months and I am holding my coin , in a wait that I could make profit whenever it’s valuation will inflate. You need to know for yourself, people nowadays is more genius than the legit ICOs. Try to analyze their whitepaper then if you find out that the concept is too good to be true stay away from them specially if they are not attending any conferences. You can check 1 by 1 about the team information in linkedin some they are using other people to fake their profile. |

Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice  I prefer to you to just hold your coins ! Do not sell all of your coins today because I know that you will regret it in the future. There are a big chance that you can earn more money by holding your coins. There's always a consideration when you holding a coin, first if the project is still follow their roadmap, second the Dev, if they are trying to build up the coin. If you want to get out in your altcoins and you have 20% or 50 % loss don't do that, it is hard to recover based on my experieced. Better if you only 5% - 10% negative you can sell your coins but more than that it is not good idead. There's always a rainbow after the rain Keep holding. |

As I have noticed these days, when the ICO hasnt finished yet and the sale was still on going, the bounty tokens has already been distributed and also unlocked they sell it immediately on forkdelta or etherdelta for a much lower that ICO price, in which it could greatly disturb the sales in tokens. As for you the investor on that token, would you panic when you see that the tokens you own already selling at much lower price?
You don't need to be panicked as long as you see the product is not yet to launch. If you're an investor you must need to know the roadmap of that ICO where did you invested. In that way you will see the future of that project. And also setting a goal after or before you invest in ICO is it really can help you when to sell or when to hold. Panic selling is the worst emotion that you need to control before you to invest. |

For me, team is one of my way to distinguish if the ICO is a scam. There's a lot of ICOs who run their crowdsale and their team is all fake that is disgusting. Second if the project concept is realistic or in short if the project is to good to be true. Third, unrealistic claims false information they were given to the people in order to gather more investor. I hate those scammers who don't have a heart to steal money from the others.

How long does it take for an ICO to be profitable?
It seems to me that a good and popular ICO needs a month to collect a solid amount of money and start successfully. But in such a situation in which the crypto market is now I think the project will take two months to start successfully. Naahhh, It depends how to deliver they're roadmap or to successfully launch their product. I saw a lot of ICOs who sold out they're crowdsale but not delivering their promise to the investor. Two months? it is not enough to gain profit, you will need to wait at least 6 months or more than that. If you wish to have a more profit than you expected. For me long term investment is one of the best strategy. |
