61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all altcoins dependent on Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2021, 03:19:57 AM
I want to understand if all altcoins are built upon the foundation of BTC. This is because when there is severe crash of BTC, all other coins, I mean all, also crash.

Is there no independence in the cryptocurrency world?

Thank you!
Well its just how the market works, bitcoin always have a huge affection towards entire market of cryptocurrency. But sometimes there is a coin that not affected by bitcoin price and it used to be seen when the market in bear phase which bitcoin price seems to stuck cause the big correction after the huge pump. For example LINK which grow when market seems not really good i also see the same move on UBT which is have rank 500 and able to climb to rank 76. Its true that bitcoin affect all the coins but that just how the market works even market stock also have bullish market and bear market seasons which i think its not a weird thing.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: July 11, 2021, 08:39:06 AM
What i learn from bear is, 1. AFter big pump there is always a big correction. 2 Market always following the pattern of recovery which will get a new high 3. Hold for long term is good way against bear market if you hold good coin with real project and not only hype coin. 4. Beware with euphoria of coins which could be a rug pull for you.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much did you earn from airdrop? on: July 11, 2021, 01:03:49 AM
well not so much i use to get useless airdrop which sometimes no market or no value at all. sometimes the airdrop is to little to sell. I also miss big airdrop such as uniswap and 1inch, i think this two are the best airdrop last year.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where Are You Next 5 Years? on: July 10, 2021, 01:14:29 PM
Hey.

You Think What Is Your Placement In The Crypto Currency In The Next 5 Years?

How Many Money You Earned That Time?

And What Do You Want To Do With Your Earning? Cool
Next 5 years i believe unibright (ubt) will be the main spotlight for enterprise coin, UBT has gather so many great client such as Coca cola, Servicenow which already comfirmed and the project is already in productively stage. Many coin only offer a promisses and only survive on POC stage. UBT definetly be very attractive in few months when the staking will be live and they will pay staker with the coin that they buy from the market. If you compare it with other staking like food coin which will unlock so many new coin to circulation and make inflation but not with ubt cause currently all the token already in circulation.

i believe in 5 years UBT might be 50 - 100$
my short prediction eoy 2021 5-10$
2022 will be massive cause all enterprise will follow the success of others so i predict it will be around 30$
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will The Sorrow of BTC Be The Pleasure of Altcoins? on: July 10, 2021, 09:16:48 AM
The word "Alt-coin" should mean "Alternative Coins". And the word alternative in a layman's language should mean having an obvious option. Example, having an alternative plan means I can decide to use Plan B, most especially if plan A may not favour me at that time. Also, Coffee is an alternative to Tea, in this scenario, alternative is a choice and not a measure of importance. In a situation where an alternative is a choice, is therefore means that the Sorrow of one will be the pleasure of the alternative.

Relating this to cryptocurrency, if BTC who is the mother of Cryptocurrencies and who has gained extensive trust ceases to exist today, will altcoins flourish or will it make the people loose total interest in cryptocurrency.
There is always a hype that bring more people in the market and it used to be caused by bitcoin. Nowdays we got so many pairing with stable coins but when btc down everything going down which means bitcoin still have a huge impact for the whole market.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: July 09, 2021, 01:57:54 AM
I have been following NFT for a while and have noticed that the emergence of some animal coins has disrupted the market. Will the market be more stable in June?
I think NFT is more like painting and collection which will survive for a long time, but dont think it will bring any hype that make the coins keep growing, i do think it will be more stable and the price depends on what kind of NFT that are in the market. we still dont know whether we are in bear market or still in bullrun market, but unfortunetly we might see some correction in july cause people afraid with grayscale locked tokens.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 09, 2021, 12:00:03 AM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?
If you think chasing pump is a good way to earn money then i would advice you to stop it, there will be always someone at lost cause of chasing pump and it used to happen in bull market. I do think its good to buy new coin but still dont chase the pump and do your own research first, HOlding for long term still the best practice in my opinion.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding 5 years a just a imagination on: July 08, 2021, 08:51:27 AM

we keep the coins at least 5 years , but its too long imagination.  you can proof it. 2018 early NEM coin was top 6 Marketcap now 56. so keeping its useless. we have to updated everytime and get the action the correct time and exit.

Now i think bear market is going on , so holding for 4,5 years just a imagination. specially i have to say that TOP 5 coins , we must keep  most probebly they will surpass the All time high again.

what all your perspectives?

Well its true some are not perfoming well but i do hold since 2018. You can search UBT which a good project from germany. They got a lot of customer this year and the price doing quiet well IMO. i do think holding coin still the best way for me in crypto world. Trading not for me cause its full of emotions and make you hard to sleep.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A real alternative to Chia Coin? on: July 07, 2021, 10:58:02 AM
And what is its rate? I don't see any active moves and seems like the coin is not so popular. Where are the guarantees that it will be profitable? I understand that here the investments are almost 0, but if I'll lose my time for nothing - it won't be too good.
Not zero at all to farm CHIA you need big space of memory which will cost you a lot money to farm it. If you asking whether its profitable or not i would say yes i got a friend who actively mining the chia coin and he doing fine, i think its just alternative instead mining ETH and i do think chia is a good one.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make good profits through ICOs? on: July 07, 2021, 03:08:08 AM
I might be living under the rock, but are ICOs still a thing these days?
I never looked into one after they all started to disappear back in 2018.
Many of them turned out to be a scam back then.

For OP, I would just say that if it is a running ICO better do the usual DYOR.
yep seems hard to find a good ico right now , i also thing ICO is not a thing in 2021 but if we look behind in 2020 i believe there is still good one but its IEO like cartessi which perform quite good. I do think there might be good ICO out there but its hard to find and also hard to trust a new ICO.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on SafeMoon? on: July 06, 2021, 01:55:36 PM
Looks like vaporware to me, still pretty hard to get hands on it. Why's it blowing it up? I've also seen some very similar posts from scummy youtubers on Twitter, think they're paying them to post about it? idk, reminds a lot of those ICO promises. You guys buying it?
completly not, Its definetly the flaw of the crypto space, i think we need to make listing harder so scam coin and useless coin could not make a way to the market easier. Safemoon definetly is a useless coin and definetly a ponzi scheme its the same like other new dog coin who trying to copy doge.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next ETH on: July 05, 2021, 11:49:35 PM
Hello guys, what is the next eth in your point of view?? I can see next eth is Polkadot.
Well to think there is new ETH is absurd in my point of view. Polkadot is a good blockchain but i think we just cant compare it with ETH, If you asking next eth by comparing the marketcap or the product i dont think there will be a blockchain as good as ETH in terms of developments and adoptions.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: July 05, 2021, 01:52:07 PM
There is too much leverage and too much potential profits in crypto space today which makes me feel like I'm reliving the 2017/2018 era once again, forget the big institutions investing money on crypto, those who bought at 4000$ per BTC are already millionaires/billionaires, you can't expect them not to take profit, be prepared
Its what investing is and its even happening in market stock, something that going up wildly tend to have a big pull back. Its better to stay on fudamental and think for long term in investing so you dont have to worry about the price so much.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not list token any exchange but sell? on: July 05, 2021, 01:49:54 PM
I want to know some information about bounty tokens here. What I want to know is - if a bounty sends me some of their tokens to wallet as payment, but the token is not an exchange list. I want to sell this token. ICO rate is given. In that case, can I exchange the token in the market? If there is any such information, I want to know. If there is, I want to learn the system. Give me information about this.
Well you can try sell your coins on decentralized exchange such as uniswap by creating the pool but i think it does a lot of work cause you will need some eth to make a good pair and the pool size will affecting the price of the coin so much.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we live without btc? on: July 04, 2021, 01:18:30 PM
Can we live Without btc?
I think we Can so then we Don't need it.
For money Transactions btc its a Bad choise.
Stable coins are good for Transactions.

So btc is Pure speculation its Only the matter of Time When government Will ban Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not needed You Can breathe without btc and you Can live uour daily life without btc.

There is no reason that government Will let the btc to stay alive.

Tron Ethereum are different those blockchains government Will use it for stable coins.

But Bitcoin?  What for is it?
Bitcoin is a mother of all coin, and there is even a country who even trust it as a payment system. i dont think we crypto will be good without bitcoin even though bitcoin really influenced the market price. but even there is no bitcoin there will be big coin such as eth that will influence the market as good as what bitcoin does. But with a lot stable coin and support from goverment maybe it possible
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying old coins: Is it worth it? on: July 04, 2021, 10:49:52 AM
With all of the hype surrounding "De-Fi" and NFTs, it looks like old coins like Peercoin, Primecoin, and Quark have been left in the dust. This is sad, considering that the aforementioned coins have a proven track record of stability and reliability. New coins are usually less secure than old ones. Despite the low interest/demand for old coins, they're still actively traded on the market.

I'm wondering whenever it's worth buying and holding old coins for the long term. Primecoin is one of its kind with a PoW algorithm that contributes towards the discovery of prime numbers. It's a pity other crypto projects haven't copied its model. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
I do hold old coins and i think its definetly worth it, you may look at unibright , unibright has a strong fudamental and i been hold it since 2018 and its just getting started for adoption. Unibright right now working with so many big company such as coca cola and servicenow and they are not in POC instead they are in productive and pilot. its good project and there is a lot old coins that are still good such as quant and matic also ETH.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: July 04, 2021, 09:47:34 AM
Well any coin really. But yes, meme shits are more likely to be a rugpull, especially since they dont have a use case or public team
Definetly , look how much doge corrected from the top, and also others coins with no fudamental at all. It cant be trusted and its really bad decisions to invest on something that supposed to be a joke. You never know when people will leave and when you late you gonna lose big.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying other cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: July 04, 2021, 08:36:08 AM
I heard about Bitcoin and ethereum around the same time. Bitcoin was I believe around $15k and ETH was below $200. I couldn't afford to buy 1btc so I didn't buy any and I didn't buy ethereum because I believed Bitcoin was the only genuine crypto currency to buy. But since my discovery of this forum I have found members who believe different. Looking back I see I have lost on both fronts and wasted an opportunity. So my question is this which is more important factor to consider before buying a coin, do you buy because of the technology of the project and what it has to offer, the utility of the token or the news?
I did buy altcoins cause i think its offer more yield than investing on bitcoin. If you take a big picture ETH perform more in 2021 than bitcoin. Before buying its true you need to do a research and i do think fudamental of the project is the main factor that make the price perform well.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your news about Crypto? on: July 04, 2021, 06:20:38 AM
I've been reading CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph, but those are general news sites in my opinion.  There isn't a lot of news about the smaller coins.

What sites do you read?
For smaller coin you could get your news from research, and you can do it from linkin, or from any social media that your project related in. obviously it will be hard if the project is so small and lack of exposure in the first place, but sure you could find the news from insider such as telegram or medium.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why women are the minority in crypto land? on: July 03, 2021, 12:23:15 PM
It's yet the day where most users in crypto land are composed of males. Women are the minority, since most of them express little-to-no interest in crypto/Blockchain tech. I find this to be odd, considering that women are as interconnected as males in today's digital era. If they use a payment processor like PayPal, why won't they use crypto/Blockchain tech?

Thoughts? Huh
well this kind of talk about why woman are less then man is happen everywhere. But im sure there is a lot of woman who investing in crypto , even my sister did invest in crypto. i think investing just not for all woman thats all  Wink
