I think devs trying to make as much PoS rewards using premine as possible. That's why they aren't hurry to give us a miner. Pretty fair launch, for sure
Actually the devevelopment team isn't staking the premine which is blatantly obvious by looking at the network stake weight... Please look into things before blindly making accusations. It's not a good look on you.
just start mining a minute, how could I fix that?
Hi,
I have the same problems, it mine for two or three minutes and then it crash with this error.
And also the maximum usage of my cpu reach at top the 30% of it, no mater how many core I set (of course over 1/3 of them). Any clue?
miner is experimental in order to fix that just go to %appdata% click on the file RBX and delete all but Rubix.dat and RuBiX.conf once fixed don't use miner, just stake. we'll make a version without the miner as soon as we finish the development of an Optimized CPU miner and a Nvidia GPU miner.
Sorry but how can I mine if I can not use the miner? Yes I can wait but since I don't have much power, for sure the difficulty will be already to high and it will not be profitable for me. I'm out, wish all the best for your project!
The nNonce for mining is exhausted very quickly because of how light the algo is. For instance users in discord have been reporting success by limiting the miner to 1-2 cores out of the 4 they have for i7's while another user has never crashed using a pentuim dual core @ 1.4Ghz
In otherwords most of the powerful CPUs overhash the algo and crash. The miner is being worked on of course to further improve stability.
Any pool for this coin?
Waiting on external miners to be built so that we can ask pools to set something up for us (we're working on getting them made)
