I think I would like to see the result of long term such trading 3 or 6 months. It will definetely give lots of insight for traders.

oh sorry. I dont know how to hold for longterm. That require deep understanding about a project and their investor's behavior.

My trading style is only for daily short term. You can put your long term strategy here. I will post it in the first page. I hope we can learn together.

Trading with technical chart analysis will better for trader, at the moment also has some tool automatic trading base on these algorithm. If you believe in these kind of technical analysis you can find and buy it on internet.

I dont think it can be automate. maybe it can, but it will be a bit complicated and costly.

~snip~
Yes, the OP has to give us more, the picture is not enough. I just see your Fibonacci drawn and beneath your RSI, but I don't see:

at what point did you sell
why you decided to do so
why did you choose BTC/NANO
what was the profit, and so on

It would be useful for anyone to see how you made the trade.

oh no, its only fibonacci retracement. closed at 1% loss anyway. its not a sell order. its a buy order.

next order I will do as your details.

I guess it's better if you made this thread self-moderated to keep it clean.
Btw, a proper format would be better.

For example:
Quote
Day X
Activities:
- 12 AM Buy BTC at @$1
- 14 AM Sell BTC at @$2
Pics:
#
Tools used:
- RSI, BB, MACD
Analysis:
- RSI is showing overbought, and etc.

It will be great if you can do that, because at the same time you'll be able to educate others.

oh ok. Im still figuring out the right format.
I use xxx/.BTC as marked price. for the above order, it will be 2533. Is it understandable?

Ahh. I see. Now I understand why its so.

Which mean, nano ledger as a machine that cant be hack. correct?

Correct. The point of it is that you can use it without exposing private keys.

If you store your Ledger seed insecurely people can steal your coins that way, but not through the machine itself.

However, it's still possilble your computer is infected and would show you a false address to send to so you always need to check the address is correct on the Nano's screen itself.

oh my God. Another parameter to check   Cheesy

so:

1. private key - cant be expose for online transaction - so most of online wallet like blockchain.info are not safe.
2. cold wallet - if computer was hacked, hacker could sniff private key even with one time private key scan app like blockchain.info
3. ledger nano s - if computer was hacked, hacker create phishing destination address.

What are other parameter for newbie checklist?

*sorry if its out of topic.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Asking: Cold wallet payment notification. on: August 09, 2018, 01:02:51 PM
oh God. It is so complicated. I thought scanning private key wont stored the key details in their server.  Undecided

but thanks anyway. Im gona try the blockcyper and the one with email and cold address

It's not a question of them storing, it's a question of anything else lurking on the machine you're using picking up what you're broadcasting. That's where the biggest risk lies.

wow, we can send fund from watch only address by scanning our private key. so having a nano ledger s is pointless now.

Au contraire.

The whole point of a Ledger is that it never exposes your private key to the internet but you can still transact with it.

The moment your private key is exposed to anything connected to the internet, which is what you'd do using it with blockchain.info, is the same moment you need to completely empty it.

this is easier than I thought. what is the name of this kind of service?

when googling "cold wallet notification" the result are misleading.

Not sure. Perhaps Bitcoin transaction notifier is the term to use, or bitcoin transaction alert.

oh God. It is so complicated. I thought scanning private key wont stored the key details in their server.  Undecided
