61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is stop loss and how it works on: August 02, 2021, 10:40:40 PM
I have been in trading for some time now and as I become more experienced in trading; I discover some terms in trading that have captured my interest, as these terms help me gain knowledge to maximize profits and minimize loss.

One among them is the (stop loss feature) some exchanges have developed this feature to help traders set limits on their trading to help put a hold on trading once a certain price is reached, but again most traders still run into losses because they inability to use this tool effectively.

That brings me down to my question, what is the best way to apply the stop loss features that will guarantee zero loss, and which exchange has the best and easy-to-use live trading features.
Stop loss is a limitation of the particular losses, if you think the losses is becoming very big you can cut it off or stop that loss. You need to set a limit the to avoid very big loss that is what we called stop loss. Setting a limit is very important not only when price is falling we also need to set a limit when the price is rising to have an assurance of gaining.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the time for a comeback for crypto? on: August 01, 2021, 02:22:40 AM
Now we can not argue that the market will soon begin to grow because there are no prerequisites to this, so we need to wait.
Absolutely, market will grow sooner because there is no required prior condition in this. Waiting is very important right now because Cryptocurrency is still relatively new, so investing now is risky. Just like when you invest in bitcoin, it destined to regain value after the recent crash. How far it will go is up for debate. Some analysts believe it's only a matter of time before Bitcoin hits new highs and becomes more accessible around the world.
I am in favor of the of the growing of the price, I see that the bitcoin is now slowly rising. The fact that many people around the world knows about crypto I think it will never go down below 30k$ at price. Bitcoin price is in favor of rising in the next few months so let us wait and see the next changes or I think it is more better to buy more coins if you are financially free.
63  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any contests for predicting the price of coins? on: July 31, 2021, 05:58:26 AM
I hear some contests before about bitcoin price prediction but now I can't find it if I remember I think that was year 2017 the last bull run happen that time and many people in crypto community always do predicting the price. I think  predicting contest will appear very soon if the price of the bitcoin continue to rise.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 29, 2021, 10:56:16 AM
Bitcoin is now rising, and it has jumped by 3k in less than 10 minutes. Although everyone is happy but also worried, is it going to fall again?
My friend asked if I can continue to buy it? But I see a lot of people commenting that giant whales are now controlling the market. I told my friends not to enter the market for now, but my friends seem to have misunderstood me.
Do you think that this kind of market should be forbidden to enter or continue to buy?
I suggest not to panic selling。
Let your friends know more about bitcoin, Bitcoin is not that safe as an ordinary investment and we don't really know when it will fall or rise. We all can invest but we need to invest an amount that we can afford to loss no one stoping us if we wanted to invest on it but I think we need to be careful or smart because of bitcoins high volatility.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always take profit on: July 28, 2021, 03:40:21 AM
It's easy to enter with good entry point but the challanging thing is taking profit before a retracement and most of the times this retracement could be a beginning of a new trend changing a winning trade to loss. And in situations where the trader fails to apply stop loss there could be chances of blowing off ones account. A profit taken is better than a loss made no matter how small accumulation of smalls makes a mighty bulk.

Have you considered taking profits of $1-3$ repeatedly throughout a trading session it might sound small for professional traders but it would go along way in growing an account most especially for beginners. If a trader cultivate the habbit of taking profit during trading he would have an upper hand over the market and also get clearer pictures of better entry points and also be on alert on when to exit especially during retracement.
Small profit and big profit is the same profit. As long as we earn for me it doesn't matter, because I believe that it is more better than losing. The point here is the benefit even if earn small but we also get experience that we can use in the near future for us to become a best trader so there is also a big benefit even if we only earn small amount.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I get a loan? on: July 27, 2021, 05:31:05 PM
Currently I have $109,750 in Bitcoin and $60k in alts.

I'm thinking of getting a loan to buy more alts now and more as Bitcoin goes down. The loan would be from my family and interest free. If the value of my cryptos drop I'm willing and able to wait up to five years to break even.

However, I could use some opinions first. What do you guys think I should do?
If you asked getting a loan without interest then why not if there is no interest I think there would be no problem. But if you get a loan with interest I am sure you will be having trouble because this is crypto we don't know how many years we can hold before we can earn so loan with interest is a big problem. But you said it was from your family and it was no interest so I will say you are lucky.

Source: https://bitpinas.com/regulation/bpi-no-longer-allows-crypto-transactions/

Kakapublish lang ito ngayun. After BDO, BPI na naman ang latest nag pull the plug sa crypto.

69  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: July 03, 2021, 12:50:10 PM
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: About time it crashed on: June 21, 2021, 09:06:14 PM
It went up at christmas as it usually does, but then it kept going up a bit.  $20-30K was about the reasonable price.

Then NFTs came along.  Like all bubbles they blew BTC up.  Then musk and doge took off and it went up further.  Finally coinbase floated and it hit is peak.

Coinbase flopped miserably, musk started bad mouthing btc and NFTs stalled.  It was all bound to end in tears.

Honestly, i see btc back in the $20K region before the end of the month.
Well i think we are really in the way to bearish market we experience a massive dropping of the bitcoin price and the altcoins just now have a bloody market, so in my own opinion I think we are going to crash in the next few months. However the chance of using is still there so we need to be more updated on price and the market situations with regards to the volume or price.

72  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin, papalo ba sa $100k ?? on: June 10, 2021, 06:22:31 PM

Sarap mamili habang nasa mababa pa ang price at hintayin ulit ang pagtaas nito to the moon ika nga.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you don't need to HODL or trade Bitcoin on: June 04, 2021, 06:25:59 PM
Bitcoin then we do regard that however doesn't imply that those expressions of yours would truly be regularly ready to persuade out individuals who had been supporting and having positive perspectives about bitcoin potential in longer angle. That is the reason it is smarter to hold anyway the sum that we can stand to lose. What's more, I am certain that Bitcoin will get another opportunity to better constantly cost again later on.
I agree on that it is really smart to hold than nothing. We can really gain in holding, if we are going to look at the bitcoin price we can see that bitcoin is really a good coin to hold based on its price from 2018 till present , big profit comes when we have patience and hold, the only reason why some people get loss is the lack of patience and trust, however we cannot really blame them for crypto is not stable.
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starting to recover on: June 04, 2021, 11:10:58 AM
Over the past two weeks the price of bitcoin seems to crash during the weekend and starts recovering from the starting of the week. This way I don't think the perfect price correction is over. In my understanding there is more chance of price crash to happen over the falling weeks. I've predicted that the price of bitcoin will surely go down to $30000 making the price of ethereum touch $1500.
After Bitcoin managed to recover and go up to a price of $ 40k, after that Bitcoin started to stabilize at a price of $ 35k - $ 38k. I still hope
the Bitcoin correction is over, however seeing the number of times Bitcoin has struggled to return to a price above $ 40k makes me agree
with your prediction. Because there is a possibility that Bitcoin will fall back to $ 30k in the next few weeks. Then if Bitcoin drops to a price of
$ 30k, it is certain that the price of Ethereum will also go down to a price of $ 1500, because after all the movement of Ethereum depends
on the price movement of Bitcoin.
bitcoin is still holding between $36k to $38k, I don't think it's been said that bitcoin has recovered yet. because it's still under $40k, at least bitcoin should be able to crawl to a price above $40k this week.
current conditions are still considered vague and need a strong push to fully recover from the fall for a few weeks.

There's nothing wrong with assuming Bitcoin hasn't recovered if it hasn't returned to a price above $40k, because everyone has their own opinion.
Indeed, Bitcoin has failed several times to pass the $40k resistance price, this requires good news that can trigger the Bitcoin price. Hopefully this
week there will be a surprise from Bitcoin with the emergence of good news, if there is good news the possibility of Bitcoin rising above $ 40k
could become a reality. While there is no other way, besides we have to be patient waiting for Bitcoin price movements.

My prediction is still btc rise up to 100k$ at the end of year 2021, there is a great posibility that bitcoin will have a high price at the end of the year, because bitcoin has a good start this year. The price is still high and start to rise so i think that was positive sign, dropping and pumping is normal so we need not to worry about it we need to trust and have patience for good.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC down , does the altcoin will keep strong on: June 02, 2021, 08:41:33 PM
The huge reduction in the price of the bitcoin and it was at the 37k.Some people was fear about the further fall in the price. But the fact is,the price will reduce further an attain one stable point and pump in the price of bitcoin will happen from that point.Likewise  their will be pump and dump in the price of bitcoin.
Well pump and dump is normal on bitcoin price and to other coins in crypto market everything is unstable, so if the price dump we dont need to worry beause it will not dump forever we can still experience pump in the next days or months, the only best that we can do is to make some good strategy and have patience beause predicting the price is really hard to do. So buying during dip and selling when the price pump is good strategy i think.

Nangunguna dito ang Unionbank and recently I also hear the news about RCBC though medyo luma na ang news about RCBC and until now there's no update, this is still a good sign na maraming banks na ang interesado sa cryptocurrency.

2021 on: May 31, 2021, 03:38:08 AM

Then 2018 nagsimula mag crash..

79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: At what point do you stop buying the dip? on: May 27, 2021, 11:15:43 AM
Just a thought like this, when the market is good, everyone wants it to drop in price to have the opportunity to buy more crypto assets for themselves.
Everyone is Overstatement mate, because there are many people that wanted for continues growth and not dumping.
Quote
However, not many people do that, and the fear of harm makes it impossible for them to know that their thoughts are correct.
What ? thoughts? and not reality? sorry i missed that part.
Quote
I can't help laughing with my friends when they always say when the market is down they will keep buying, but instead I see them constantly selling and taking losses, lack of market knowledge is so.
That's common mate, because the problem with not completely investors will make them talk a lot and not doing what's necessary .
Those who sell they are maybe lack of experience , most of them cannot control thier emotions and they always afraid of losing due to continuous dropping of the price, in short they are greedy they always wanted to see thier portfolio increasing like greedy always wanted, and by the time that the price drop, they always sell like panic sellers and losses the profit and sometimes thier capital too.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long until the "we're in a bear market" people admit they were wrong? on: May 27, 2021, 05:44:01 AM
Lots of people saying the bull market is over and we're in for a crypto winter. I think this is plainly obviously not true for numerous reasons.

How long until these people realize we're still in a bull market and market sentiment shifts from "oh no bear market" to "oh that was just a major correction"?
Those who says we are in a bear market maybe the bitcoin price reach thier limit, i think they set a limit and when the price of bitcoin fall down and reach the limit price they will quickly say that bull market is ended, in my part i can say that the bull market is still up, and my limit price is below 20k$ if the price of bitcoin fall down below 20k$ that was the time that I will say that bear market is starting btc is now still 37k$ that was still high price so I don't think bear market is starting.
