Hi, as c-darwin mentioned, we had major developments with the platform.

You can find more information here:

https://blog.apla.io/egaas-launches-the-public-blockchain-platform-apla-for-the-creation-of-digital-ecosystems-2985fb8e4e36

The gist of is that we realized the potential of the platform we developed for eGaaS, and as such decided to develop it as a public blockchain platform, changing its name to Apla. eGaaS will remain as a private product for the organizations that need a blockchain solution.

The core principles of Apla are simplicity, safety through smart-laws in case of attacks, and performance. We believe our project will be competitive with other blockchain solutions, such as Ethereum.

What is future of current token holders who are holding this from so many months but still no progress made there. When we will see the real value of this token as you are claiming this is competitors of Ethreum but no big company interested to use this blockchain when you will push this for public use and allow other devs to develop their business on this blockchain.

You can already download the IDE on apla.io and start developing. Right now the blockchain is in testnet mode, with the mainnet release in October-November.

Would like to see some ideas where the new block chain can be used in day to day life, and how are organisations gonna use it... as a platform on itself or is the source code, what holds the platform, I know this is proof of concept... What is the coin used for in this. I think I remember reading something about security on proof of concept.

parallel transaction processing, incomplete nodes, visual contract and interface constructors, a semantic thesaurus for the description of document layouts
Vision envision 👍

The blockchain can be used for executing smart contracts, holding databases and in general anything you can think of, since it has a Turing-complete syntactic language. The token is the APL token, used to pay for processing power and storage space.
This is a high level explanation, obviously, there are many interesting features that would take too much space to explain in one post. One of them is the concept of smart law, designed to, among other things, "clean up" the consequences of a hack entirely within the blockchain consensus. You can read more on https://apla.io

when is the 2nd ICO? I want to buy more  Grin

We will release all of the information about the ICO later, together with the date.
