Each day that goes by the ASIC´s community that are mining Zencash has more mining power, it is not hard to see and feel
if fork was voted by hashpower i think at this moment ASIC´s will win. If the opinions/votes was - one man one vote, no matter what, i think GPU wins, hands down.
We also need to protect this project from 51% attacks in the future and some would say that this is priority especially if we are talking about adoptation which is crucial for the future of every project. Bingo! I recognized this as an issue after the 51% attacks happened. It really re-frames the whole GPU vs. ASIC debate. So ASIC (fewer miners) gives better protection vs 51% attacks than GPU? In a way it makes sense as getting ASIC in big quantity is harder than GPU at the moment. And if you use ASIC to burn the coin with 51% attack you got a bunch of useless boxes after, while with GPU you can just mine something else  |

Now we have a 2 at the front of the price, this is not good. Why such a loss of value, this coin has just delivered on what was promised. May have been some hiccups on the way but we got there and the price should have crashed straight after if it was that. I know everything is down atm but we have seen a halving in just a few weeks. Is this some big guys dumping?
After the last fork going so badly maybe people are nervous of the upcoming smart contract fork? Or just lost their patience. Hard to know for sure. |

I love the fact that you have this FAQ thing up and running already. I did have some insane question but those were answered by your detailed write-up right away. I did not see any information on the hardcap and softcap though? Maybe I'm just blind?
The softcap is 80M tokens (which have been achieved). Hard cap is 560M tokens 1 BTC :122,745 XCLP 1 ETH :8,995 XCLP 1 XLM :3.8245 XCLP 1 XCLP : 0.05 USD Using the USD, soft cap 4 million USD and hard cap 28 million USD. |

I made an AMD miner for PHI2 based on sgminer: https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branchI did this just for fun. It may have bugs so don't expect too much on it. My rig has 6 RX 580 at 1170 Mhz and the hashrate is about 4.5 Mhs. 4.5mh each card or total?? Im guessing total, if not two 580 is performing like a 1080 ti With a miner made for fun that would be very impressive on a Nvidia friendly algo! |

Cardano is a US$4 billion white paper. Tron is a $2 billion whitepaper. Bytecoin is a $500 million whitepaper.... the list goes on.
So yeah, I think in many cases, the whitepaper is the most important. The exception to this ofc are the projects that are actually live with a product, but as we know, those are not as frequent as the million (and billion) dollar whitepapers

If Satoshis Identity would be known:
a) he would be in SEVERE danger for his life + his families life + his friends life
just look at Asange and Snowden
b) the BTC community would constantly tweet / message him to change this and/or that.
Ask why this is not included, cause coin "X" can do another thing so much better.
c) he would have to deal with Roger Ver and discussions about what is the "real Bitcoin"
d) mainstream media could easily destroy his life + reputation
(see what they do with Elon Musk?)
Putting himself out there would be such a risk. Suddenly you have enemies like the Rothschilds, Governments
(maybe even Mafia Mobsters?)
Just imagine a case hypothetical case where it is known that drug money is on a certain wallet.

ALso it would centralize BTC in a way that was never intended for BTC.

it's almost 1 year and eidoo have already completed some of their roadmap but no significant price increase, it seems hold for better life is only a myth
please do something, at least to keep prices stable, if the price goes down like this all investors will move to another altcoin
Critical updates of the project like btc wallet and (soon) exchanges are just happened recently. It's true that they've been around for a year and accomplished several roadmap, but it was "minor" that when combined with market depression became rather insignificant. If you think the price won't get better, hence the myth, then you better sell while you can. That is probably one of the issues. And i think many lost their faith along the way. I sold myself, but reasons i dont want to go into. |

the hardfork scheduled for today is about the supernodes ? any update on the asic resistance debate?
supernodes and change in the block rewards to increase the secure node portion to 10%, add 10% for super nodes and increase the treasury to 10%. Zen 2.0.14 is the update previously planned before the Equihash ASIC announcement and blockchain attack events. The time frame to include any new changes was too short to address these issues. However, potential solutions to mitigate chain manipulation from attacks is being worked on and may not require a mandatory upgrade. At this time we are staying on our regular deprecation schedule. Any news on sg miner? It's happened a bit time to keep waiting even more. That and exchange listing are things that are bringing the price lower when the rest of altcoins are going up
Please ask the devs that create AMD miners. The LUX team has been in contact with them, and so far it has been very slow going  Not sure why it is not a priority for them. Lux is one of the most profitable coins to mine for miners. Partially because AMD miners cant mine it maybe? But maybe the new algo favors nvidia cards and that is why it is not prioritized? |

yes this is a very interesting project Chynge technology scans when a customer transacts with a combination of predefined risk and algorithm indicators so that a suspicious behavior pattern is detected. Crypto currency used to detect fraud, instead of the media focused part where it is ued for fraud and criminal activity. It may be one of thoose steps to make it more accepted |

So, changed my miners to uniming. Found 4 blocks fast but now 4 hours without block. It is a decent sized pool so should find regular blocks. Anyone know what is happening? It shows hash rate as OK.
Everything working as normal it seems. Uniming goes long periods with no blocks and then hits alot. Is it the chain not being steady or just normal for a pool of this size? |
