My wallet keeps popping up errors when I launch it, and then closing itself. Unable to bind to 0.0.0.0:9333 on this computer. Mortycoin is probably already running. It isn't running already. And this error is quickly followed by... Failed to listen on any port. Use -listen=0 if you want this. And then... Runtime Error! This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. What's up? Created a config file, set listen=0, and added the nodes listed earlier in this ANN and that fixed it. Weird. |

So just to be clear everyone, we are already ~25% into the PoW limit, and the dev hasn't posted a pool. 12 hours from now, this coin will have been 100% premined.

Wtf is up with a 70% premine? And the premine is actually most likely more than 70% because there is no public pool yet.
after block 1,000. proof of work ends, the premine is used for airdrop distribution...otherwise there's no other way for new users to get the coin. So basically, we can't mine this coin? Is that what I'm hearing? |

Any body tried sending Krypton out of your wallet? I got an error code saying the transaction was rejected, but all my coins are gone now. Coins were not received at the address I sent them to.
EDIT: Eventually it sent. That's a REALLY scary bug. Dev, you should check that out. Happened on my second transaction too.

And what is the difference in reward between normal staking, and a masternode? I'm getting .333 stakes, but it looks like masternodes get the same?

The only problem I foresee is that early adopters don't really get anything for helping out early on in this coin's development. Due to the low block rewards, it'll be really easy to get left behind in terms of overall supply if you stop mining. Considering we don't know if this coin is going to be around for long, it helps when it is designed in a way to reward early adopters with extra coins.

I'll be interested to see how this coin progresses. I didn't feel good about the 9.5 billion coin supply, but the low block reward means coins get distributed really slowly, which makes for a very interesting dynamic between short term demand and longterm inflation. I believe this would mean that value should maintain at a significant level as the coin is more widely adopted, but not spiral into crazy high prices like Bitcoin.
