61  Other / Archival / Re: Are you worried? on: January 26, 2018, 05:16:09 AM
Since the market is going down and down are you worried about your Bitcoin? I saw someone asking what to do with his/her bitcoin? S/he has 12 bitcoin. What are you doing with your bitcoin?

I am not totally worried. But at some point during the big drop I almost sold my coins. I spent a day thinking and calculating my losses in case i sold them that day. After a day of thinking I came up with a decision to just hold my bitcoins and store it first in hard wallets, until such time that the prices will rise up and keep my losses to a minimal that is the time I will decide to sell my bitcoins. Let's all face it bitcoin technology is slowly degrading with the slow transaction and high rates it will slowly loose it's value as some people will look for other alternatives that could compete with bitcoins. If ever bitcoin technology will improve in the coming years then bitcoin will still be the top cryptocurrency. Even today bitcoin is still on top even though there are a lot of issues in transaction and fees. Once I keep my losses to a minimal state then I will start thinking of other alternatives.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless so why high price? on: January 26, 2018, 05:04:30 AM
For me Bitcoin is not useless at all. Bitcoin is the most largely accepted cryptocurrency in the world to date. It is also the most popular and everybody is talking about it. When things gets popular surely acquiring those things will require more money. Just Imagine a popular actor to a newbie actor the popular actor gets more pay compared to the newbie actor even though they are just the same actors in one movie. The popular actor will get good treatment compared to the newbie actor. That is the same with bitcoin, because of it's popularity that is why the prices are high even transaction fees are ridiculous. But people still choose use bitcoin because of it's popularity and wide range acceptance.
63  Other / Meta / Re: No more signature campaigns for Junior Members - Asking for a grace period on: January 26, 2018, 04:57:07 AM
Well this new merit system is not the end to it all. It is even more challenging to think first before posting, rather than to just post and post even though you are already out of topic. I read the meta announcement and there will be people who will be task to read posts and if deemed to be a quality post but did not receive any merits, they can quote those replies and send it in the meta thread in order to apply as the merit source. So if you are a merit source I think your job will have to be to find quality posts and give merits due to them. The challenge here for us is just to create high quality posts with a lot of content and for sure that merit system will just be a fly.
64  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merit and New rank system in Bitcointalk on: January 25, 2018, 08:36:24 AM
Sa tinging ko this will encourage us more to do quality posts yung tipong pabonggahan na ng post. Pero at least you earned what you work hard for.
65  Local / Pamilihan / Re: May establishments ba na nag aaccept ng bitcoin as payment? on: January 25, 2018, 08:25:59 AM

Transaction fees are only applicable pag ang payment dumaan sa blockchain. Pero when it comes to same system sending money is free.
66  Local / Pamilihan / Re: May establishments ba na nag aaccept ng bitcoin as payment? on: January 25, 2018, 08:19:37 AM
Meron po, according to coins.ph below establishments accepts payments directly from coins.ph app "Scan & Pay".

67  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May legal implications bang dapat alalahanin pag nagcacashout galing sa bitcoin? on: January 25, 2018, 07:35:39 AM
Sa pagkakaalam ko  AMLA is always the regulating body for the Philippines, kaso madmi lng loop holes sa systema at hindi alam pa ng government on how to regulate bitcoins sa pinas, actually nasa law na ng ating bansa na dapat tayo mag bayad ng tax sa anu mang earning na meron tau and that includes bitcoins, and loop hole lng dito walang means na itrack pa eto ng BIR or baka hindi pa alam ng BIR kung paano ma track ang mga ganitong transaction. BIR can partner with coins.ph or other withdrawal agencies and imposed taxes on bitcoin earnings. Pero ang pilipinas nasa infancy stage pa ng crypto currency kaya medyo matagalan pa tau mapasunod sa any legal implications kung meron man.
68  Local / Pilipinas / Re: bitcoin mining (mobile) on: January 25, 2018, 06:40:40 AM
Kung ako sau mag faucets ka nlng sa android phone mo kesa mag mina ka, at least sa faucets profitable pa in a way pag nabuo mo na yung required amount for withdrawal makukuha mo tlga, mas malaki pa bigayan sa faucets kesa mag mina ka sa android device.
69  Local / Pamilihan / Re: 1M PHP on: January 25, 2018, 06:31:07 AM

Check your submission again, bka denied yung una and re-submit nlng ng mas clear na requirements.
70  Local / Pamilihan / Re: 1M PHP on: January 25, 2018, 06:28:18 AM
Kapag b level 3 n ung account sa coins pwede n mag withdraw kahit 200k sa cebuana at palawan express? Wala kasi akong bank account.

No, maximum  withdrawal allowed sa Cebuana is 50k only in one transaction. But you can have 4 transactions to make it 200k.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to leave Altcoin in Exchange on: January 24, 2018, 07:11:05 PM
No nothing is safe, even online wallets are being hacked these days, there are also a lot of phishing sites for exchanges, one example is poloneix, I have encountered a lot of phishing site with this exchange. You have to be very vigilant and always enable 2FA for added security. still the best way to keep your coins is to store it in hardware wallets.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: January 24, 2018, 01:29:32 AM
This is just a mere speculation, but cryptocurrency in general can go up as high as it can be or as low as it can due to the high volatility of the market. However dropping the prices as low as $1k from $10k is more like a speculation, nothing is certain yet but I am not also saying it can't happen. We who are using this coins should just be ready anytime as we are here and taking in risks.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: January 23, 2018, 07:48:36 PM
People tend to create new coins in order to compete with the current coins we have, Imagine if your coin gains the popularity of bitcoin then price with one coin will sky rocket you will be an instant billionaire, especially if you control the number of coins. I also see another reason is they want to improve the current coin circulating. Not all coins are perfect so there is always room for improvement plus added new features to the coin, in that way it will compete with the current trend.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is King and Ethereum is Queen , Do you agree ? on: January 23, 2018, 11:04:28 AM
If we base it on their value then I do agree. As of now Bitcoin still is leading the value race of these coins and still followed by Ethereum, but this will not always be the same, some coins will eventually oust the value of the so called king and queen of coins. As other coins are gaining more popularity they can soon reach the value of bitcoins, but that will not happen soon yet.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: January 23, 2018, 01:46:06 AM
No Litecoin is not dead, as long as it continues to have value nothing is dead, some features might be gone but as long as it continues to have value and people still uses it then nothing is dead, it only gives more competition to other coins, and Litecoin is a strong competitor with a lot of altcoins being released each day. I also think Litecoin has still a bright future ahead.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: for US Citizens: if you use VPN to buy into ICO, can the Government penalize? on: January 22, 2018, 06:20:55 PM
Nothing is impossible nowadays, even if you use vpn's there is always a way to track your address, so if you are not careful enough government can really penalize you. They can even penalize you more for using VPN. A lot technology has been invented to counter act VPN's so I am sure US gov. Has always a way to track it citizens.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: January 22, 2018, 01:21:39 PM
Mining will never stop. It is the proof of work the coin has, that is the reason also why coins are expensive because of the difficult algorithms that a computer / GPU processes. If ever all coins are mined computers are still used to complete a transaction in the blockchain, that is the reason if there is no coins to mine you are still paid through the transaction fees in the block chain.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the most stable altcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 02:43:50 AM
For me Dogecoin is the most stable. Even during major market corrections Dogecoin is still being very stable. I am holding up some dogecoins for the reason of savings. I can also see Ripple as a stable coin, it has ups and downs but not too drastic so there you can choose between the 2 coins.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is 5% daily in crypto trading possible? on: January 21, 2018, 05:24:47 AM
It is not possible. In my experience you can have more than 5% in a day sometimes you get negative as well.  Trading is a gamble sometimes you loose sometimes you win. There is no constant profit I should say when it comes to trading it comes with timing and a little bit of luck. But if you make 5% as daily goal in trading that is possible since that is your goal but do not really expect something.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn 30usd to 100 usd per day ! on: January 20, 2018, 07:52:26 PM
If you have enough cash to invest in you can try mining, thru mining depending on your hardware it can generate more than $30/dey. But easiest is thru trading, but this business is so high risk you can loose a lot of money in trading but also gain much when the coin get's a sudden pump of prices. But if you have the talent in skill you can search the services section here there are certain skills needed for certain tasks that gives you a lot in returnn.
