61  Local / Pilipinas / Re: All green right now? on: May 22, 2019, 05:51:09 AM
62  Local / Pilipinas / Re: How much is the bitcoin's price when you first learn of its existence? on: May 22, 2019, 05:02:11 AM

So lets reminisce the time you first heard about bitcoin.

63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a store like Amazon or ebay that accepts only BTC would you use it? on: May 22, 2019, 04:55:10 AM
First, they better have a good customer service so that many people will be willing to try it. It does not have to be very huge like Amazon but they should be able to last whenever there are dumps because of volatility. If they have all those standards then I will be one of their loyal customer that use btc to use buy their products.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Why can't we have a good cryptocurrency exchange? on: May 21, 2019, 05:56:57 AM
Ima be blunt, based on the fact that loads of people are still without exchanging trade pairs because the likes of binance and such have decided to close deposits indefinitely (gcse computer science and business for us teaches how to develop disaster recovery regimes) so the fact that high profit exchanges can't do it is just off.

Most of these exchanges do stuff with customers money too while on there especially if they haven't withdrawn for a long time. Coinbase, poloniex, bitmex and binance I believe will all be susceptible to this, as well as bitfinex who have already proven how great their money management strategies are (I luckily only had a dollar on there at the time of that hack)...

I disagree. Binance is a good exchange for me and I mean better than the rest. It is just the  people who are behind the hack is a powerful group or guy that could have spent millions to the hackers to act fast and destroy the exchange's reputation. Just think that it can easily happen to banks as well but a lot of authorities will try to help so hackers will have a reason to back off unlike in crypto exchanges, we don't have that previlege.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be the main currency in Mars? on: May 21, 2019, 05:47:56 AM
Hey guys, taking a break from the bull hype for a minute.

I came across this article this morning lol it was super funny but interesting at the same time...

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/4-reasons-why-elon-musk-should-consider-bitcoin-as-mars-currency/

Do you guys think Elon Musk could potentially make BTC the main currency in Mars?

I don't even believe that people can live on Mars. Maybe it could take a 100 years or more to make that happen. But Elon sure wants to make everything around him created by his own idea so he'll definitely make his own coin once we see that we gets closer to that possiblilty.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: May 21, 2019, 05:36:53 AM

I have not been really into investing though I have some stocks with a premiere banking firm here in my country, which i just left in my broker's site idle for some years now. What made me excited into investing is cryptocurrency but unfortunately it was not bitcoin but a scamming project called TheBillionCoin which by name itself really sounded so dubious. Okay, I was still innocent and naive at the time. Soon, I meet bitcoin and it was not yet that pricey at the time but because I was not convinced that it can go sky-high I just bought some.

The main source of the money I invested with bitcoin comes from doing online job with a platform where we are allowed to post in many forums in exchange for some points and the those points can be converted to real money anytime.

What are the sources of the money you invested with bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Anybody here used credit cards?

We have the same source but I was not become a victim of the TBC back then. Anything that has a Nigerian on it is an automatic red flag. But I'm not denying that when I was a newbie, being naive is really a part of it so I was scammed by small time investment site. And now, I'm still hoping that the altcoins I earned in the past bounties will have value so I have more source to invest in btc.
67  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinoy takot paren sa crypto-investing? on: May 21, 2019, 05:27:31 AM
68  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: May 18, 2019, 02:03:14 AM
The only way I can see this happening is if the government will try to intervene and make btc a stable coin similar to a dollar. The value can still go up and down but not highly volatile anymore if they wanted it that way. But I know many of us will disagree on that so I think it will never happen and there is other stable coin out there like USDT.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: May 18, 2019, 01:48:41 AM
Only on huge transactions like government expenditures and transfer of money of banks and business. I'm sure that on those areas, it is going to be all completely crypto. But for us average spenders,  we are going to need fiat. Crypto is very helpful when a huge some of money is needed to transfer in any place or country in an instant which is not needing a armored car or etc.
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin recover again above $ 8000? on: May 18, 2019, 01:37:56 AM
It actually did but it did not last for long. I've read that a whale dump 5k of bitcoin hard on bitfinex and it goes to $6k but it still manage to recover to $7k shortly. This people who wants to stop btc success is really giving us a hard time everytime we are on the middle of a bull run.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on the way to $10,000 on: May 17, 2019, 11:39:32 AM
Bitcoin is witnessing the all time pump currently and it has gained over $500 since morning.  At the time of opening this thread it is around $6,801. I think we should get ready for $10,000 soonest.  I thought that we would be discussing $10,000 by November or December but currently it seems it might happen before end of this month or next month if the current momentum is sustained.  I hope this happened and I wish all the holdlers, happy profits!!!

I'm witnessing a major panic everywhere so let us see what happens next week. And consensus is going to end so I don't know where we will get the hype from again. But if things are really going to get good then I guess before the 2nd quarter, we will see btc making more than $10k in the cmc.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: May 17, 2019, 11:31:58 AM
I disagree because for me bitcoin and altcoins are where you make big risks and you get a very huge results. The profit that you can make in this market is cannot be compared to what you invested even it is in millions because with the right amount of patience, you can be a multimillionaire or even a billionaire. Gambling or not even stock trading can give you that results.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 17, 2019, 11:23:40 AM
This is the reason why most of my fellow countrymen work abroad rather than giving all your effort in the land they were born because all it can offer in their plate in exchange for their hardwork is mostly canned goods and noodles. Life is really a pyramid where most of the people at the top that gets the most out of life is very few while those at the bottom share only less of what life can offer.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: May 16, 2019, 04:43:26 AM
When I was still addicted to online gambling, I remember spending at least 2 hours in front of the monitor concentrating on playing hi-lo. It went on for 1 week and I have lost so much. It has tortured my mind and also my pride for months but I need to endure it and not playing again and thankfully I was able to stop playing again.
75  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Colorado school Shooting! on: May 16, 2019, 04:34:17 AM
America is the country where illegal and disgusting things are tolerated. Because if they do really care about this incident, they will banned guns for individuals to have it for personal possession a long time ago. The accessibility of guns should be taken seriously by their government and it should only be allowed on places that has low number of policemen.
76  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Keep religious beliefs personal to promote peaceful coexistence on: May 16, 2019, 04:22:23 AM
I could not agree more. Religion is a very sensitive topic most importantly to Muslims so we should rather talk about anything outside of that topic because when we see two people with different religion has a conflict together, the fight is autmatically not just between them but the whole side of  worshippers.
77  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Is possible to earn on HYIP? on: May 15, 2019, 01:38:29 AM
I can see that there are still many new projects based on the HYIP system. Is able to earn money on it someone else than its founder?

Yes, that is true but you got to be the fastest to exit out early. Like invest this day and get all of your roi after one month and never come back. HYIPs come and go and that it is their true nature. I remember a person I know who always brags his current earnings in a hyip for almost a year that reached $30k but it did not end well and the company just fell down like any other hyip.
78  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All human should be vanished. This place is only for animal ! on: May 15, 2019, 01:17:20 AM
After living for many decades in this planet, I finally realized that humans are not naturally born good or bad. We all have our own decisions based on many factors that influence us. If good things happen to others, then bad things happen too. We should accept that harsh truth of reality.
79  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think Doctors lie? on: May 15, 2019, 01:10:03 AM
Absolutely, yes especially that doctors on private hospitals. I had once had a skin irritation that spread all over my body and I went to a doctor and all she had offered were expensive medical treatments from ointments and capsules that she has. They just want their patients keep coming back.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: Little dip in bitcoin market, will it be recovered reach 10k on: May 14, 2019, 05:18:14 AM
I just noticed the price chart and saw that few 100 USDs of value fall down for bitcoin. Will it be recovered in a future day or tomorrow?

Thinking to exchange some coins, I do not want to loose the peak value chance, will it reach 10k Soon.

Apparently, I really don't see any dip in the bitcoin market for a whole day and it seems that it is just merely unstoppable on its way back to $10k at last.  $10k is on the horizon this week because we are now officially on the $9k mark so $15k might be the closing price of May before we enter June.
