I would expect a 10X for a coin if the supply is less. Since the supply is in 15 billion and initial offer price is 12 cents during ICO i think it will take a long time unless it is a great project.
Ripple has 38 billion and never crossed 28 cents. Comparing it with XRP it can go up to 4X. That is just my wild guess.

If I were you I would keep it in safe as it is the only coin that gives gains on value as well as new offerings of it s family.

Bitcoins has no basis it has been rising for last week. I think the institutional purchase is driving the prize.Their purchase all over the world is causing the demand and supply is limited.
It is no more a coin for the retail people.

To avoid scams the folks who do the ICO should keep 10 % of the ICO money as a secuirty . This helps to avoid any future scam as there is no body such as SEC to vet the ICO's.

ALl folks who had bought Bitcoin family 2 years back are having a joy ride now. For them it is not a loss.

It is a high time that there needs to be a place to vet the initial ICO.
FOR ipo's in case of stocks there is thorough vetting and constant follow up process to avoid any scam. Unfortunately in the crypto market there is no special way of vetting.
I lost recently in COnfido scam.(CFD).

Not sure what is this different from Tether.
Tether also always stays at 1 USD and it can be used when the alt market is volatile. We can buy tehter(USDT) and hold it for some time until it is time to invest back in the market.
