It is quite remarkable how you have managed to get lots of followers in just a few days.
Being on an exchange literarly from day one may have a lot to do with it, and there have even been some significant trade considering this is a totally new project.

Seems fair enough, but it looks like very little incentive to do (pow) mining, maybe except from gathering coins for pos, but (if) the 1mill premine will be in pos, it would mean that the devs have a huge advantage there, on top of the premined part itself.

Also regular PoW mining, X13 algo, so you'd want X13 ASIC (I think Baikal Giant is one of them, but I'm not into ASIC)
And you have the airdrop, which should give something near 5% a week(!), but you have to contribute a little bit to the project to qualify.

I don't know if there is something wrong with staking, or if it is supposed to start after the POW period, but I haven't got a single stake yet, and the wallet reports network hashrate as 0.
I only have about 400 coins in the wallet, so that may be part of the reason, but it looks wrong. Also I notice that coinsmarkets don't give stake either.
Has anyone got stakes at all (yet) on the ECT?

1.25 BTC trade on the first day, and on a relatively low volume exchange as well - that is not bad at all for a new project!
Staking works, trade is happening, the devs are active, airdrops seem fair.
I'll try to grab some VERE and hodl - this may work.

If you want to be used as a currency for small payment, why set the total supply to a relatively low 28mill?
It may work, but there will be little incentive to keep wallets running. Are you going to pay for node hosts?

Onion is not neoscrypt, it is x13, and you shouldn't use it for that. It should work on neoscrypt, but don't expect much.
Probably best to find the lowest hashrate neoscrypt blockchain and hope value increase. I don't know if neoscrypt is ideal for that gpu, but should not be the worst.

The global hashrate is at around 100gh/s at the moment, which is quite low, and the reward is building up, near 40ECT now, so even some simple gaming rig have a chance to get some reward.
Best is, people seem to dump ECT at whaterver people are willing to pay (on coinsmarkets), so if you don't want to mine, you can pick them up for as low as 3k sat.

This is really cool! I've been following the cryptoinfo guys the last months, and they like building, that is for sure.
Hard to know the full motivation, but with a "heavier" coin on top of INFO, they may use one more as an asset, and the other like a currency for more daily use.
They have giveaways on discord, faucet on thecryptochat among other places, the INFO coin is mineable with a gaming rig, their forum have giveaways, and the community is growing, so I'll start gathering some more INFO and get ready for whatever this new thing is. Maybe I'll manage to get my first masternode.

And the mining rewards are picking up while the global hashrate is quite stable, so it is ok even for some gaming rig
Just for info, I couldn't get it mining on cuda9, but cuda8 seems to work as expected, also issues with amd stability, but nvidia is fine (ended up using ccminer klaus 815 cuda 8, but there may be better options)

In other words you have a cryptonight made with the web config wizard and you don't have any real developer or team but hope to trick some stupid developers into helping you by saying the coin will have some very high value before it even is released?
