61  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: February 07, 2018, 12:11:51 AM
Rather than controversial, I think that BTC (& crypto in general) is free from regulation. It's a different thing really. In the same way that the trustless nature of cash makes it more valuable to criminals, it seems only natural that the digital equivalent would do the same.
Yes, I think so nowadays bitcoin is so controversial because there's a lot of news that coming out through media that is why bitcoin is dropping so low right now. There's a lot of news saying that bitcoin is used in crimes illegal drugs and terrorism, human trafficking and other illegal activities. So I assume (in kidding aside) bitcoin is like a celebrity now that gaining controversy because bitcoin is so in demand to all people nowadays.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I protect my self from being hack of bitcoin on: February 06, 2018, 11:56:19 PM
Trust no one too much.

Cold storage is the best way to do it. Anything else is riskier.
How to protect me from being a hack of bitcoin. First of all, create your password unique that even your husband finds hard to guess. If there's an option that you can change your keyword log in try to remake your own unique keyword. Do not entrust your account even to your siblings you'll never know.and mostly avoid logging in to different devices.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: February 06, 2018, 11:21:15 PM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?
There are most reason why some countries are banning bitcoin. First bitcoin is not government regulated meaning, government can't put tax in bitcoin  so what ever business that accepting bitcoin is free from taxes since bitcoin is digital currency. Second, they arr protecting their own countries actual currency like Ecuador since they are building their own eletronic cash system. And one country have made their law that using bitcoin is one serious offense and punishable by law like Bangladesh of course for only one reason too that bitcoin is not regulated by the government.and some country like vietnam banned bitcoin because they said bitcoin can be a tool for crime.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: February 06, 2018, 09:16:03 PM
The best way of explaining is using the gold analogy.

But I think explaining it to a person in his/her early teens will be quite difficult. Best to wait until the person reaches late teens and then explain
Explaining Bitcoin is really hard especially to older ones including myself of course at first I really do not understand how bitcoin works and how to start it. I even took many months to decide if I start or not since that I can not really understand it. But explaining it to children or teenager maybe it is much easier since the era of bitcoin is millennial era. it's all about technology digital world which bitcoin is made off. Teenagers nowadays are much more knowledgeable when it comes to digitals internet etc. Just explain to them the very major thing of bitcoin and they will automatically study everything.that is for sure.especially money is involved in it.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2018, 08:11:40 PM
You already know the outline, so basically you use bitcoin for online transactions like buying and selling almost anything
There are so many uses of bitcoin, of course, the most common use is for payment to stuff that you want to buy. But there are more of it, donating to charity, you can also use it in gambling (what I heard from my sister she sometimes joins into bitcoin gambling.)concealing the true value of personal assets, transferring money across government lines. There's a lot more you can name what bitcoin used in your daily living. 😊😊
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: February 06, 2018, 07:15:27 PM
Yes if I may say...A friend that introduced me to bitcoin has been testifying before entered and has also recorded another smile of money yesterday.Bitcoin is really changing the world and lives.
Yes, bitcoin WILL change the world if all people are going to be open-minded to its function and capability to help other people in their daily living. Like having an instant job to help jobless people they can have jobs without spending money for their requirement etc. Bitcoin can help you send money to your family without charging of transaction (of course it depends in a wallet that you are using ) and many more. And that us if people will be open-minded and  give bitcoin a chance to prove its value and use.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: February 06, 2018, 12:16:58 AM
I think it can help lessen the people who doesn't earn or the unemployed,
They can earn through this crypto currency and help their family and their selves .

Yes, it will be an excellent opportunity for unemployed people who have plenty of free time to study bitcoin.
Yes if only people in the government can give bitcoin a chance to prove itself that bitcoin can really change the way economy is cycling just like my home country.  There's a lot of jobless there and most of them are freshly graduate from college and yet that can't find job because many of company asking experience which is doesn't make sense because they are just freshly graduate and impossible to have experience in any work. In that case bitcoin can help this young people to atleast start their investment without taking cash from their pockets. And can make their own business out of bitcoin.that is if only can government gives bitcoin a chance.
68  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ? on: February 05, 2018, 11:33:41 PM
sure its getting more dangerous every day
Now a days yes it is getting dangerous because one (1) of the main reason why bitcoin is getting low each day now it is because of the bad news about bitcoin by media and other government sector in selected country that they banning bitcoin because bitcoin being to illegal transaction such as drugs gambling and more is terorrism. But we all know that this kind of news is all not true they just want to destroy bitcoin because government will never have any compensate from bitcoin.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die? on: February 05, 2018, 11:15:53 PM
I do not think so far, and my family members no one can access my only bitcoin
and if all of a sudden I die then bitcoin will disappear with me
and I took the initiative to teach someone, if I died then he helped access my bitcoin to give to my family
but I have not found anyone to believe
What topic I don't really want to share with is death. But since it is necessary for this thread to answer. What gonna happens t o my bitcoin if I die? If I am a greedy person and self centered my bitcoin will going to die with me. No one can take it from me since bitcoin account is really confidential even to your family. But what I am going to do if I already have lots of coins and big investment. Of we'll never know what gonna happen to us tomorrow so as early as possible I will do my letter ato.my family written how much bitcoin I have how to access it and how to withdraw it in that I can help my family to the very last breath of mine.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: February 05, 2018, 08:03:09 PM
Long term is any time better if you are not into cypto currencies or do not understand much.
It's always up to us if we are going to invest for short term or long term and it is also depends on the stability of bitcoin or crypto in terms of stabilising its stands in economy. We can also do both but you need to understand deeper in bitcoin and how is it working in long term. You need to have strategy for long term. You need to be ready for every situation that crypto have to face in the future. You can also do short term investment after you earn enough money to put up a actual business but I suggest to put a long term investment if you really can do long term.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I Invest in Bitcoin in 2018? on: February 05, 2018, 04:37:51 AM
Bitcoin is best to invest in 2018. It is not completely decrease in the price. In some time it will go higher in the price at the upcoming month. In my point view bitcoin is best to invest.
Yes I think every year is a good time to invest because being low in price bitcoin is always go higher everytime it gets down. And yes it is not always low just like in our paper money currency sometimes it gets down but after a month or so it will getting higher again that is the time to send money back home. Same thing to bitcoin so no need to worry in bitcoin.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 04, 2018, 04:01:26 AM
dont worry with any news. Please HODL your coins. It will be raised at least with in 10 years.
Yes of course we can totally survive without bitcoin even if bitcoins gets to be main currency in the world we can still survive , our life can be more struggle if there is no bitcoin that going to be surviving throughout this . but I believe bitcoin will going to survive so as we as long as we will use bitcoin and share it to other , sp they will know to what bitcoin is really about and how's helps people a lot.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin stay? What should we do... on: February 04, 2018, 03:09:25 AM
Life in Bitcoin is like that. Sometimes it falls and sometimes it goes up. Do not worry because in the first place, before you invested in bitcoin, you already know that Bitcoin's price is unstable and have the characteristic of being volatile. Market always experience those decreasing numbers. Do not panic on selling everything in your wallet. Just wait for a moment and sooner or later, the price will go up again.
Yes of course bitcoin will always stays no matter what thats our future currency, yes it gets ups and downs (just like life) but at least they still manage to get back on track and give us surprises so all we need to do is to trust in bitcoin use bitcoin stay positive and wait until it got back because bitcoin will always be our future.

75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: January 31, 2018, 10:44:54 PM

Make a contract. Enforce it in a court.

This is the essence of our discussion: How can we guarantee payment?

The old way: Trade for something of value (silver, gold).

The crooked way: Use government chits, and the government will enforce the payment (U.S. dollar).

The Bitcoin way: Accounts are accurate, honest, and convenient (based on Math).

No one can phoney the books--the system Just Works. It's more voluntary than the other systems, yet has none of their drawbacks.

Note that Bitcoin is just a system of accounting, and could be used for purposes other than trade. To call it money, or cash, or "worth" something is to complicate it needlessly. If someone wants to trade bitcoins for Pesos, or for Yak fur, or just hold on to them, that is their free choice.

All trades are ENTIRELY SEPARATE FROM THE BITCOIN SYSTEM.

Keep it simple, people! There is no reason to put Bitcoin into the commercial arena, with the accompanying legal meathooks. There is no reason to call Bitcoin money, or cash, or to say Bitcoins are "worth" X number of dollars, because they're clearly not; Bitcoin is just a P2P, distributed accounting system. Nothing more.

Why ask for trouble, and invite the crooked Enforcers in where they don't belong? Bitcoin is NOT money, so don't call it that!

-----

Full disclosure: I am also fresno. I created the fresno persona to handle my political activities while I ran the Silverman site. Now that I am no longer exchanging Bitcoins as a business, "fresno" is no longer active.

Yes, it is I believe since bitcoin is being used for trading payment and can exchange to other currency.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: January 31, 2018, 09:27:19 AM
I made a paper wallet for my son and I deposit a smaller amount of Bitcoins there every month. I kept it in a secret place that only me and another person knows.
I think that is a good idea for a much better future for our family and for bitcoin as well why? When we use bitcoin to save money our children will know what we did and in that they gonna have interest in starting bitcoin too when they get in their right age.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: January 31, 2018, 12:45:00 AM
given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down?

home internet and mobile internet goes down

do not mean trade bitcoin to buy/sell i mean using it as a way of payment say you wanted to send money to someone abroad for family far away
For me internet will never be going down that is a new trend now of millennial everything will be gone but not the internet that the future generation. And there's some country that offers free data everywhere so they can access bitcoin as much as they need so how come people are predicting that internet will go down in the future if that's the center of every transaction in our daily living.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should government consider bitcoin as a legal global currency? on: January 31, 2018, 12:02:55 AM
Japan already made bitcoin a legal currency. Would you consider your countries to also pass a law recognizing bitcoin as a legal form of currency?
Yes as per news says Japan already made bitcoin as a LEGAL currency and payment method, but I think throughout the world when it comes to payment method because some business is accepting bitcoin as a payment, it's just that when we talk about making money and change it into other currency in that we always have the argument about legalizing bitcoin.and in my  opinion there will time that government will go to decide to legalize bitcoin if they can put taxes on bitcoin. It's simple logic that if you ask something to someone they are going to say yes to it if they can profit from it as well
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people want Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2018, 11:16:15 PM
They want to make money but people also like the technology behind bitcoin.
In most and very general reason I people wants bitcoin is because they want money that much, well I am not trying to be hypocrite here because I admit why I started to bitcoin is because I NEED  to make extra money like most of us here and later on people most reason when they already making or earning enough money is to have a career in bitcoin, like they want to rank up and learn everything so they can apply as a manager and make their own campaign that will help to our society for a better future..
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: January 30, 2018, 10:06:46 PM
I don't think so because if bitcoin die or the king the other altcoin will die maybe but for now, we just started to reach period of mass adoption
I don't think people are losing their interest in bitcoin why? Because there so more to learn in bitcoin at first I thought that when I started bitcoin I am gonna lose my patient in learning everything and if I already knew things then I'll get bored and I get bored I stop which is did not happened now especially there's a new requirement to rank up and to join campaign (merit policy) which gives more challenge to all bitcoiner to do their best to be recognize their hardship and earn some merits from others. And in this point of time, I don't see people losing their interest in bitcoin, it is more like trying to learn everything before they start something.
