I predict a lot of interest to buy BTX to get 9,2% the last time. Why 9,2? Cause we have final sum to be distributed.
there is no fixed percentage for the last airdrop. it totally depends on how many new investors get in and how many btx get bought until monday. maybe at the moment it would be about 9.2% if nothing would change. but it could also be even less than 8% in theory if many new (or old) investors would buy alot of btx now. let's hope that not too many btx get bought before monday so the airdrop would be about 9%. |

Its easy, just stock up a good amount of BTX now when they are cheap. If you do that, only a slight price increase of price will keep you happy. And not only on Mondays And if you realize that this monday approx. 4,5 million dollars worth of BTX will be freely distributed, what do you think will happen in a few weeks? So many people is buying BTX right now and suddenly there is not an inflation of +500k BTX every week. So the buyers will have to pay more to buy the few thousands BTX holders are willing to sell. And only those who pay more will be able to buy those few thousands BTX. The price boom is inevitable. I am only worried it will shoot up too fast that I wont resist the temptation to sell some that sounds very good and i really hope that you are correct on this. but what would you think would be the reasons and the motivation for potential new investors to buy btx after the airdrops end? until now i would say most of the investors bought btx because of the airdrops. when this ends i'm not sure about the unique features which make people want to buy btx. of course i know about the good technical structure and some nice projects like the "btxm". but there are so many other cryptos of which some also have very promising projects, what exactly are the outstanding features to make this one successful and attractive for new investors? Sure, and some of those projects will also be successful. If you can sift through all the “promising” prospects without a working product, cash grabs and outright scams that is.. Plenty of room in this space, for solid good quality projects. The outstanding features of BTX, are all the ones you mentioned above. And the fact that that BTX has a solid plan, great ideas and a team that delivers, day after day after day. Compared to most other coins out there, bItcore is a fresh breeze in an ocean of diarrhea. And a no brainer, for me at least. My 2 sats. i agree with you on the great features and good ideas and team and so on. but i'm not so sure if that would be outstanding enough to attract new investors after the end of airdrops. btx might be "a working product" in terms of being a currency. but so are litecoin, monero and dash for example. and these currencies have the advantage to be more popular and adopted. you cannot really use btx to buy things as there are almost no merchants who accept it as payment yet. so again my question, why would new investors buy btx? what are the unique features compared to other coins (like the ones mentioned above). don't get me wrong, i don't need to get convinced about the quality of btx. but what should i tell other people to get them convinced to buy btx? as far as i see it this could become a problem after the airdrops and could be bad for the price of the coin. |

Oh is your problem solved? Glad I could help, Lindacoin must be using other portnumbers now. yes, that was it. the port numbers have not changed but i had to renew that firewall rule obviously because the path of the folder with the linda_qt file has slightly changed i guess. unfortuantely this issue didn't show up in the firewall the first time when i checked. |

I would say, try resetting your firewall rules, but since you've already got one connection this can't be your problem. I think you are fine if you wait, to let more connections populate like the guys at the Feathercoin problem told (check my previous posts). Running an old wallet version won't work. You can also try rolling back your system to a date before you installed Linda (Windows + R key, and enter rstrui.exe in the box that opens). See if you have restore points. There are many ways but Linda coin is a working product. What we see now is, if you look at the wallets, they gain massive interests by their masternodes, and they sell them. There's a dude or girl with 50 000$ worth of Linda. I wouldn't have invested so much. To each one his belief Resetting your firewall can be done by opening up cmd.exe as Administrator and typing the command: [ netsh advfirewall reset ], without brackets that is. Good luck, but I think you have to wait till the connections populate, since you already have one connection. All addnodes are listed at Cryptopia. edit: oh i saw you have NO single connection, reset your firewall and uninstall, making sure you backed up your wallet.dat You can also approach the same using the Windows GUI by entering 'firewall.cpl' at the Run box (Windows + R key), then choose: Restore defaults. no, i said that i don't have one single connection. meaning that i have zero connections. you have obviously misread my post. i don't know what is the problem with the new wallet version. waiting is not the solution either. i have already checked my firewall too. but thanks for your help anyways. maybe someone knows the correct solution for this. edit: i checked my firewall again and now it turns out that was indeed the problem. the firewall rule was for the old linda_qt.exe. although it has the same name it needed to renew that rule for the new linda_qt.exe file as well but didn't show that the first time when i checked. |

for me the new wallet doesn't work on win10.
i did everything like in annekes instruction but it just doesn't connect to the linda network.
the thing with the bootstrap worked so i have only 11 days left for syncing but no matter which and how many nodes i add into the linda.conf i don't get one single connection to the network.
anybody else with this problem?
or anybody knows a solution to this problem?
otherwise i would need to install the older version of the wallet again because that one worked just fine with lots of connections.

by the way, does it matter which linda.conf you use?
i have noticed that the linda.conf contains a rpcuser number and a rpcpassword.
now should i use the linda.conf from the fresh installation or the one inside the bottstrap (or even my old one from the older wallet)?
i have also noticed that there is a strange file called .lock (0 kb) in the roaming folder.
maybe this one has anything to do with not connecting to the network?

Hi Devs ,we discussed on telegram channel and we decided its ok to run a vote poll to end the airdrop after this week and the remaining coins to be use to get on a bigger exchange, bttrex ,binnane ,etc...please run a vote poll
There is a Bitcore development fund with 1.5M coins for these things. and they said wont pay money to binance or major exchange to list btx so ....it is but is not They will. Just not now. Be patient, just a few weeks to go before the distribution period is over. im all in in this project and i want to succeed because its a nice coin but im afraid many will dump the coins after airdrop ends but if the airdrop would end now, many people would dump now. do you really think at the moment would be a good time for many people to dump? the price is so low right now, that would probably the end for the coin if the airdrop would stop now. just look at other coins which changed their airdrop model (i.e byteball). as you can see there it is not really a good idea to just change the introduced contribution system. |

X4s every one of your Bitcointalk post is just an attempt to knock down and fud Xspec. I've been following Xspec since July 2017 and can honestly say the project has made a lot of progress since I jumped on board. Xspec is an open source community based project so it's not some scam ICO. All scam accusations have been addressed by the current developer JBG and can be viewed on the Spectrecoin discord channel or the Spectrecoin reddit channel. I assume you know this already but have other interest at heart. There has been a delay with the latest wallet release ver 1.4 which happens often in tech related fields. I have faith though and am almost certain it will be released sometime soon. As the coin grows so does the community around it and I see things organically falling into place from the marketing, to the website, to the white paper, all of which are actively being worked on by volunteer community members (All these activities again can be followed on Xspecs discord channel.) As things become more streamlined and stealth staking is released this year Xspec will explode. I think now is an awesome time to get in on the project while it still has some growing pains and is under the radar. To those who say Xspec is a scam I offer a challenge (X4s you seem like one of these dudes) I will join your fuddpacking troll forces if Ver 1.4 fails to release in two months. if Ver 1.4 does get released however you just take back your words and say that you were wrong. My impression is that a lot of people spreading the fud would not even take this challenge because they honestly don't have peoples best interest at heart and are just trying to hurt a really strong project thar they either want to get in on cheaper, or view as a threat.
I did not say that xspec is a scam, said it has topics saying it is, and with good arguments. they have good arguments indeed, but those arguments or "facts" are not proof for the whole project being a scam. those facts only indicate that one dev didn't deliver as many results as he should have for that time frame. nothing more than that. |
