61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: March 07, 2014, 08:39:00 AM
^ the diff will adjust accordingly so their may not be an huge decrease in coin supply if tht happens

Every day now there are about 2% less coins that can be mined.
Difficulty is not relevant to the total (mined by everyone combined) amount of coins generated per day

Difficulty is only relevant to how many coins you get of that amount.

Therefore the coin supply total will continue to rise but much more slowly as each day passes.
It's a reward reduction.
ohh yah forgot we are starting the decent of rewards my bad

Hey guys since you don't mind dumping your coins. I want to sell Radeon 7950 vapor x for 25 Mil microCoins shipped to make this coin useful. I will accept escrow. Halbit you've been really helpful here and are trusted among microcoiners would you do escrow for me if anyone wants to buy?
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: March 03, 2014, 01:04:05 AM
I have a few questions for Op and halibit - are you the same person?
I see a lot of connections: Lottery Tickets, MRC, cryptoDOLLAR,....Finland-Tampere,...Mr.T.H.,...globalsharecenter,...
Transparency, secrets; why?

lol that's funny If halbit wanted to launch mrc he could have just did it from his own account, its not like he is notorious around here

Alright, so if you all want to trust your future in Alcurex go ahead.  For those of you who actually want your coins to succeed, lets get this shit on cryptsy.  I'm starting a marketing fund to pay the cryptsy bribe and donating 2m of my own coins.  If you want to see this coin go anywhere, then join me and lets market this thing.

Marketing fund (MRC): 179zEgevqVnW86uPm8viUNhToR4UCKwc9D

Do not send ^... You've been to much of a pessimist about this coin since launch mean while it has been slowly building a following over the last 2 months. What's to stop you from just dumping it on the existing exchanges. I'm not saying your a scammer at all but I don't trust sending coins to a guy who is overly emotional and constantly jabbing at the devs

Then you organize it.  I'm pissed because I'm sitting on 25m MRC that *should* be selling for around 4 BTC, but instead is less than 1 BTC.  I don't *want* to have to market it.  I'm just becoming convinced that nobody else is going to do it, and the dev is just trying to haphazardly tie it in to his current project, which I'm pretty sure is doomed to fail.

I'm holding a much larger stash then that but I don't plan on selling 1 mrc until it hits 1 cent idc if it takes years. I've been mining since the begging and haven't sold 1 yet. I've made donations to the devs and trying to think of ways to get MRC's name out there... maybe we shouldn't be to concerned about holding the bag yet because this coin is only 2-3 months old
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: March 01, 2014, 09:44:04 PM
I've been working on securing a reliable shipping service for gridseed miners this last couple of weeks. I've been doing thorough research and due diligence before I proceed. I want to reserve sells for microCoiners to purchase with their mrc. I'm sure this will help promote the coins usefulness and increase future value as well.

Also I agree with Halbit if we are going to donate to a bounty it should be with a trusted member or the devs.

Someone should make a countdown clock for the "Lessening" at 160,000.
An actual page to visit. Seems like every cool coin that has a big event coming
has a clock.

Theres actually nothing special about block 160k the rewards will still be very high the block rewards wont see a significant drop till about 290k.
For example, block 161 will have 159000 reward and will descend 1 unit every block for about 1-2 months before the block rewards become low.

some coins should still be left without this kind of exposure, MRC  is one of them. Now all multipools will rape it.

Isn't KGW implemented?

If you are able to implement scrypt-jane to work with multipool, you will be soon richer than multipool owner. Technically still impossible now. Don't make such statements.

MRC can not be used in multi-pools right now because of the changing block reqards and it doesn't use the modified Microcoin-miner(not cgminer) which all the pools use

do you guys have a normal ABE?
checking balances on the current one is a pain in the ass

also, WTF are you doing to this coin now on mintpal?! the trade volume was 5 times that yesterday!

Hype can only push any coin so much with the current inflation. Services need to be developed to push this coin to the next level. Ask your self what your going to do to help promote this coin!!!  Grin

Price suppression to get people to sell. But few are selling.
Whales got to feed before it flies to the moon. Or swims.. or .. ya.

Waiting on coinmarketcap for listing. Day 1.
I'll let you know if I hear anything. Usually takes a few days.
you say price suppression, I say over 8 billion coins in circulation =] whats going on is its still early in this coins life cycle. If you want you can eat the walls

WTB Time Machine to go back in time when MRC was 2 satoshi.

Don't care if it's used. Willing to split cost.
Willing to pay about the same as the cost of the Olympics in Russia - no more.

I might also just use the time machine to go back and replace BTC with MRC in 2008.
Oh and I could take Karples MTGO cards away from him when he was in college.
Avoiding Gox debacle and avoiding ASICS in one swipe.

Not sure if that will break the universe but it's worth a try. Maybe I will
get my own timeline like in a JJ Abrams movie.

can you please mine some Microcoin for me if you launch it in 2008? I didn't find out about crypto till 2012 but I'll give you 10k if you hold for me.

Bitcoin and litecoin being massively dumped right now. I guess one advantage of not being on a major exchange is that you may not have to deal with the mass dumps of your coin. We're not out of the shitter yet tho, whales have plenty to dump if they are loyal to ltc
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: February 24, 2014, 06:23:20 AM

According to the OP the n-factor should have gone up a few hours ago, but I can't see any change. Am I wrong?

"Time: 1393144187 23 Feb 2014 N: 2048 Nfactor: 10"

my hashing power is still the same

Since the last post I put here got deleted from existence I am trying again just to prove a theory that someone is in charge here that has a vested interest in something.. I posted this yesterday and now its gone. Doesnt show up in my profile/posts and I am wondering why? So again I send this only to point out that there are cheap sellers in China willing to sell in escrow on aliexpress with a credit card so you are double protected on a purchase. Good luck and happy mining.
