63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: September 17, 2018, 11:23:44 PM
I noticed this phenomenon. Often someone buys up all the proposed tokens with a small amount of trading (for example, look at SMT on hitbtc this night), and after a few days these tokens go up in price very much. Is it worth buying such a token?
Low volume is good cause when you have it, you will dominate their service because the access or the token is limited. So it's good to have them if there's opportunity but it's not about the volume it self. Just focus the development and the activeness of the project, if they continue to develop that specific token. Cause even if that has a low volume but the project is already dead or stagnant, it still useless and consider as a "shitcoin". Do yo want some example a good token with a high volume ( circulation supply ) , simply look at XRP.
64  Economy / Marketplace / Re: issues on the internet on: September 17, 2018, 11:18:59 PM
I agree with your opinion by making a positive issue about cryptocurency that can make or affect the ups and downs of cryptocurency market prices.
But we must make good news about this market only if this is happening in real life, because if its not maybe it can also be consider as a hype news that will later on be a FUD news. Internet is very powerful and it can really change the trend easily. If you believe on cryptocurrency, just keep on posting the good side of this technology, and if there's a good news around the world better to share it.
Different people have different thoughts about cryptocurrency and they give opinions according to their level of understanding. We should be optimistic and never give such statement that are not in favor of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin because thousands of people have invested in bitcoin. They are curious about the future of bitcoin and some bad issues discourage them.
People come and go and the real deal here is, if how you survive on different kind of hardshipt level here in this virtual market. Profit and loss is always partner, cause we cannot say that everyone will make a good profit because some of us loss when in comes of investment or even tradings. That is the cycle of every market just to be balance the continues process of every services or products. It will be more interesting if all of us will stay even if we encounter a lot of loses around the crypto market.
65  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Encouraging People to Stay on: September 17, 2018, 11:07:12 PM
I dont think you can encourage anyone to stay when they already lost money.
Just tell them that crypto is not a game. You have to do your own research. If you lose money it is your fault.

People come and go, they have rights to do what they like and your comments will not matter at all. It's about how to respect the decision of others based on what they feel/felt. This thing can change if you have a word of wisdom and putting the positive thoughts on the mind of one person. But when the loss come first, it will be hard to... and nothing you can do.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think that the current situation will overcome soon? on: September 15, 2018, 03:45:05 AM
We all are waiting for a revolution like the last year. I believe this it will happen and I am also waiting. Traders and investors are eagerly waiting for this. At the end of this year, Bitcoin will hit at least $25k and Eth will hit $5k and I can't think anything without it anymore. This revolution is badly needed in this bearish situation.

What is your point about it?
Please share
Obviously we are waiting for bullrun. I hope that will be come very soon. We just need to wait and need to be patience. Bitcoin will hit $25000 at the end of this year.
The resistance is futile, this means some of us is continuously decreasing the faith on crypto currencies for such a obvious reason. Many investors fall on that bull run or what ever that's why they got a big loss from the early time. The main reason is about those shitcoins and other analytical analysis miscalculation ( add some fake news and scam projects ). So better to not expect too much and divide your money to lessen the loss, well everything is possible. Just belong to those positive thinker and be more careful than the usual.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC is important? on: September 15, 2018, 03:40:37 AM
KYC is not done by a company to know where their money comes from. To be honest, a company rolling out its ICO cares about the cash inflow and not about their identity. It is a means of due diligence so that they are not prosecuted by their country of operation.

This seem a lot of hole for justification of KYC, because you cannot avoid the main reason and that is to know the real information of every participant. Well, the sense of being anonymous will be ignore and some participant don't want to expose their identity. Specially, there's a lot of fraud project now that after they got funds and KYC data they just disappear for such a unknown reason. I want to protect my own information and so the others too.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: September 15, 2018, 12:42:29 AM
I'm Hoeda From Indonesian. I just tried to join today.
First I saw the enthusiasm of my friends in the village who had already mined bitcoin. About 3 years ago, my friend once invited me to join him.
but I refused, because at that time I was studying and working in one of the bona fide companies.
so I do not have time to spare.
and now I have graduated from my college.
then yesterday I accidentally saw my friend on Social Media, he has been successful with his efforts. I started chatting with her, she said her success was due to bitcoin.
after that I am more curious and interested to join to bitcoin.
many new things that I have not known here.
Now what should i do as a newbie and howto get bitcoin BTC ?

I hope the members who have long joined here can share his experience.
success for all of us!!

As a newbie you have to study the crypto market first and enhance your knowledge about crypto currencies because if you have enough knowledge you will be able decide which coin is the best to invest and you will be prepared to face all the risks.

Hoeda ( the author of this thread ) is still a junior member even if he registered on November 24, 2017, 02:21:27 AM. So I think, he don't want to follow all the advise here and just staring all the post on this thread. No wonder that he is still a Jr.Member account after almost 1 year passed. No merit and no progress after all. Wasted worth posted of others, but in the other side I learn a lot information here ( so not totally wasted ) .
69  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Main reason behind crypto currencies red market in 2018 on: September 15, 2018, 12:37:24 AM
Current year has been bit worst for crypto coins. Apart from values, we have ICOs in the market with best projects. So what happened is the investment spill over too many ICOs and thus bitcoin value remained below $6.5K . This is another reason for all altcoins values remain under a threshold. Hope we have more investors pitch in investing into bitcoin.
There are lot of alternative coins that is truly useless as "shitcoins". For the reason of slow development and worst case scenario is there's no real product or service at all. After finishing the pre-sale and ICO...and having a funds from different investors, the team went missing and no one knows what will happen next. This is the common way why the market is down and decreasing the liability of crypto currencies around the globe. So , the less money and investor comes, the less opportunity to crypto market expand or grow.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: September 14, 2018, 05:50:52 AM
Hello my friend, don't worry, the price of Ethereum is rising now. What you need now is to wait patiently for Ethereum to rise instead of panic selling.

If you visit the coinmarketcap.com on this time ( https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/ ), it has a big profit percentage which is a big (16.35%) green one. The volatibity of eth is much higher than bitcoin, so please be patience to aim more... the profit is on it's way. Hold on and make a smart choice to become a good trader in crypto community.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: September 14, 2018, 05:48:37 AM
ETH will mostly pump hard in the next rally, just like it has done in the past. All the profits form many altcoins and even Bitcoin has been squeezed out. We might get another big drop if the ETF for the CBOE is rejected or deferred until early next year but let's see what will happen. For now, if you see ETH is very cheap stock up if you can afford. I only use ETH for a little trading but I don't hold any as I am not making that much money in crypto anymore like I used to, but I might start trading a few ETH tokens again to try to collect some ETH if I get time one day and my situation gets better. All the big whales collecting the cheap ETH NOW are so lucky, they will do so well in the next bull run.
Yes, given the fact that those crypto whale was planning a dirty move again. They only need time to get the perfect timing of bull run and thinking about next year is a good opportunity. So don't worry too much cause everything in eth is predictable, since the eth has a outstanding history when in comes of crypto currency uses. All along, we need to be more flexible in different situation like this one.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CASPER API it is first system decentralized cloud-based data storage for DAPPS on: September 14, 2018, 03:29:45 AM
I try to click the link above, and I see the listed article of Casper API. But the problem is, there's a lot missing information specially the rate and other important issue. Overall, the article is useless and out of line to be trusted.

It looks like website rating for ICO or what...is this a joke?

Yes you're right because it look like less information from that link and the rating is important as well. What is the use of ICO rating without rating, make sense before posting that link. It will be a trash on the crypto community, so fix it first.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Sad Story With Ethereum! on: September 14, 2018, 03:26:57 AM
I have joined in this form in November 2017! Before that, I did not know about Ethereum but I had a group for buy - Sell bitcoin! When my elder brother told about Ethereum and he ordered me to keep an eye on coinmarketcap always! That time Ethereum price was 330 USD and after few days, it went to 290 USD and the ln the bull market was started! But after almost one year, I have to see Ethereum price at 170 USD! I am feeling too much bad. What about you guys?
This is the common reason why we don't put all our money in crypto currency. Cause everything is inaccurate even if you use analytical analysis or whatever. Cause the volatibity is too high and the price is uncontrollable of course. More or less, you will encounter this problem if you are not careful. But now, just hold your eth because the evolution and the fight of ethereum is just began. This still possibility that you may get what you want, potential profit and extra income. So don't be sad too much and find the perfect timing.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you here for the right reasons on: September 14, 2018, 03:22:13 AM
What is this post or link all about, even if this is related to the topic.. you need to elaborate what it means. Are you doing spamming or what? Well, hope you re edit this post and make it more interesting than this. Good luck to your journey dude!
He/She spam that link around this website. I already visit his bitcointalk account and see that he post that link for almost 20 plus on a same day. This is the main reason why merit system is invented, so sad.

Spammer post : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=41442;sa=showPosts

It will be more peaceful if we eliminate those kind of people.

75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: September 12, 2018, 09:27:39 PM
Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.

What are your thoughts?
If they really dont know the movement of crypto market, they will fall on the emotional problem like panicking and out of control mindset about chain losing. Smart mind is not always about holding, its always depend on the scenario and the current position of your specific altcoins on your online wallet. That's why I always see any useful updates of that token and balancing reputation and demand as well. Also coinmarketcap.com is highly recommended to monitor your altcoins if they have a good rank token and progess of its value of course.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: September 12, 2018, 09:16:24 PM
My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?

EDIT:

I already knew the amount of money that I earned on this particular bounty. I think the money that I earned is actually good and enough for my waiting. i waited for about 8 months before they release. Actually it is already in my wallet but the token is not listed yet so I can't know for sure the actual price of the token.

Well, the amount of coins that you will earn depends on many factors but it boils down into one very important factor if you are a winner or quite a loser. If the ICO is successful which is the main key to have a great value of coins that you will get. But in terms of the number of coins will be depending on the rank, the bounty campaign and the number of participants.

So it means still a case ro case basis and depend to every scenario. Its not about how long you work with but its depend on the sucessful of the project you work with. But waiting for 8 months is a lack of development, poor response and ignoring the precious time of those investors and bounty hunter as well. This is the main problem of some shitcoins, slow processing and development issue.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: My Ether Wallet on: September 12, 2018, 07:39:10 AM
I have an old myetherwallet account for sale. This account has a rich history (I transact over 20 ETH).

Current balance is 0 ETH, but I have many tokens. Just to name a few: Blocklancer, Mysterium, BitClave, Pareto, Ankorus, Tron and many more!
I receive airdrops from time to time, without doing anything, just because my address is old.

Make me and offer I can't refuse   Shocked
The big problem here is the private key of that MEW Wallet. Cause even if you tell that to me, its easy to access that if you still hold the private key. That will be a shady moves here, so why can we trust you as a legit seller? And also, if you understand the value of those token... you will sell it than selling your mew account. Just saying a good sense!
78  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I SOLD ALL MY BITCOINS on: September 12, 2018, 06:01:07 AM
It's a right decision for your situation at that time but anyway I recognized that you were lucky to sell all your bitcoins at that time because the price was better than now and now if you still hold some money from selling bitcoin before you can buy bitcoin again and maybe you can get a big profit in December , 2018 or the early 2019 as well.
Btw, what will happen in December 2018 and in early 2019? Is there a possibility that the market will recover and increase rapidly in that period? if it really will become a reality, then we must keep holding and do not need to sell in panic at this time, because I am also very disappointed with the correction that continues this year.
Well, that is the biggest question around this thread. Cause even it's the market or same month just like year 2017, it will be more different and complicated. Since the community is also become huge in a short interval of time. Disappointment is always in the road but be confident and don't lose hope  about the future of crypto currencies, there will always a rainbow after the rain.
79  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can buy some altcoin?? on: September 12, 2018, 05:52:13 AM
First, I strongly recommend to educate your self first about crypto trading cause there are lots of failed traders around the community. So learn from other mistakes and move like a pro...

While having a good time surfing on internet about crypto community, I found this website ( https://www.bestbitcoinexchange.io/ ). I'm just thinking about those votes, if that is a trusted one or just a spam votes only ( payed votes ). Well anyway, I saw there a lot of famous exchange like bithumb and kucoin. So I think that this is useful too for those newbie in trading industry. Hope you appreciate this post in the near future, thanks in advance.

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment. on: September 12, 2018, 05:39:15 AM
for long-term investment, all I have in mind is Bitcoin, nothing else
among all existing cryptocurrency, I only believe in Bitcoin because of its large community
whereas for altcoins, I don't believe that much
Personally I am a long-term investor only by 80 percent, the remaining 20 are everyday trades (which also yield a profit). Long-term investments are very risky, you need to analyze and read a lot about each coin/token in order to understand what kind of project it is and whether it will be in demand in the future. But also long-term investments are most profitable. Just if we pay more attention on these.
20 percent everyday trades? But as far as I remember, there are some exchanges that has a transaction fee everytime you trade( usually percentage calculation fee ) . Also by sending altcoins to your personal online wallet. What exchange do you use to deal with? It will be better if you share that...curiosity
