Hi, YOSHIE,

If that is the reason for his/her ban, then, it is not a valid plagiarism case. Member did cite its source:
Post from Krushang:
Inculcate in mind that when integrating a quotation into your text usually involves two elements (source):
  • A signal that a quotation is coming–generally the author’s name and/or a reference to the work
  • An assertion that indicates the relationship of the quotation to your text

In this case, Khilone7’s post has the author’s name attached.

Note: If the case is also common knowledge, information given by a certain poster does not generally have to be referenced, as I have cited on this post.

theymos or Cyrus can check if there are some other reasons on this case. As for me, this is an invalid plagiarism case (if YOSHIE's post is the reason).

EDIT:
Perhaps, Khilone7 has been banned because of this message.
Now, that's a valid one.

Because it is? But not sure if it's a legitimate one. Lol. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bct-coin/
What is legitimate in unregulated crypto world? Smiley

(might wanna know whose that user?--- or  not Huh )
Zepher Memorial Thread

Why is that? Does everytime you visit that place, it has a requirement that you must avail their happy meals before using their wifi? Cheesy
You know what? The best thing about McDonald's Security Guard and Service Crew is that even if you just went inside to use their toilet/CR, they happily say "Thank you, Sir! Come back again!" when you go out. That's like urinating or pooping like a boss, you won't get that kind of service on any public toilet/CR. Cheesy

For me, I want to see a list of biggest wars in the forum.
Such as wars between DT members and red-trusters, as well as war between admin and forum users due to sudden changes in forum rules.
Something like War Accusation, including merit, trust, and so on.
It is already a common/regular topic; like TMAN said: war is shit. We are on the forum, wherein some people are just here to relax by just reading stuff and learn from it. We already had enough reading about what you called war, you can just read CH’s wall topic and you got what you want. IIRC, @xtraelv made such topics.

Sometimes you find friends by joining a forum, conflict can be triggered due to some different opinion or behavior, but, that doesn’t mean you’re in a war, you’re just stating what you think is right in your opinion, people should respect that. At the end of the day, people don’t really care what other people say as long as you know you have stated your opinion. I remember before (7 years ago), we have this forum member complaining about a certain rule, I am the one online and answered him, which resulted to long conversations or war topics and got some PMed conversations (exchanges some personal views and of course trash talking). But, as days gone by, we just laughed about it and we even became friends. Reading war conversations are regular nowadays. We already have enough war here in our country.

My closest pal I met on here died this year, we transacted 100+BTC, talked on the phone, met up - got smashed.. Enjoyed each others company and him passing taught me something big, Life matters…
Sorry to hear about your loss, TMAN. I am sure he is in a better place now.

Sorry for the semi-OT question, was this week or it will be next week the increase of activity? I'm so close to getting Hero.
Yes, 490 Activity for this post that triggered your activity count.

13/03/2019   Hero Member   Merit Points 500

In order to trigger your activity count, you need to at least post on the date specified by forum activity calculator or after the given date (That's what I have noticed).
67  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Viewing images without quoting posts/ OPs on: March 11, 2019, 04:43:18 PM
I'm sure newbie will only see the URL of the image if they post an image. So if newbie can't see it just click the URL to view images.
OP is saying something like this kind of thread -> ✔️ GREEN THEME/STYLE for Bitcointalk.org | 2019, wherein more links are needed to be checked/clicked, which is time-consuming clicking them one by one.

To avoid phising links, or something like this, it's better if only apply those steps to view images via only-view approach.
You don't have to click to anything to view images.
I have still thought that spending a couple of seconds, it don't ruin our lives, but it is better, and safer.
Correct. Scammers can just insert hyperlink that will be directed to phishing sites, be cautious on clicking any links, a second can make your life in danger or safe.

By just viewing the last posts of a certain profile, it will help you avoid any risk due to unsecured sites inserted from image links.

Honestly, I have not known this tip before luckily read your post.
Always welcome, lobcmt2. I just drop some +2 for your effort and some points that can help not just newbies, but also, old members. I can’t give much +m due to my scarcity of smerit, but, I hope it will keep you motivated to do more for yourself improvement as an individual, not just for merit.

In addition, I want you to arrange your OP and check your grammar and spelling, it might give you a chance to gain more merits from other members or some merit source. You can learn about it on the internet, my friend.

                        See you around.
68  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Women in Crypto - Where are they and who are they? on: March 09, 2019, 06:19:22 PM
Not all of the ladies are having the fun of being safe and gentle, just like me, I always needed to learn new things that I could benefit someday. Cryptocurrency is something that I have a sight of being a successful baby industry today and I will stay passionate with it.
                        End of the story. Cheesy
I thought that's the condom's purpose, for you to be safe? Lady Sheenshane, we are all gentle gents here and all are very passionate about creating a baby in this industry. Wink

But, yeah, we are also focused on learning new things, especially if we can have some help from some of the crypto ladies. We do need some helping hands from gurls, right boys?

I guess the things that can slow woman coming into crypto is their mood swing and they have these pop-up pieces of stuff in mind and wanted to do so many things. Sometimes they forgot other stuff they needed to do. Can you further enlighten us about it, sheenshane?
69  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns. on: March 09, 2019, 03:29:20 PM
can you summarize this in one line so I can update it in OP, tried guessing but couldn't come up with an appropriate tiltle for better representation of what your reply is advising about.
I can say it will fall under [4]: Join a campaign that encourages quality posting:
or if you want to add something like " Read the rules of participation in the campaign:" by hugeblack.

For easy understanding: Baofeng is saying that you can read the rules on bonuses and read if it is full or closed, basically, he/she meant of those people applying even if the campaign is full. As to bonuses, there are campaigns nowadays that gives an extra bonus if you have accomplished a certain quality post that the campaign manager believes to be exceptional. It will always be on the verdict of the campaign manager as to how they will choose who to give their bonus or position to a certain spot. Just like sending merit to people, sMerit holder chooses what they think a quality post(s).

In addition, I think campaign managers have these unwritten gentleman’s rule about joining one campaign to another campaign. They can skip people who have a signature campaign already as a sign of respect to its campaign manager. Just like in the corporate world, when one of my staff is applying to other banks, HR or Branch Manager always makes a call about a certain staff of yours applying to us and of course we will talk about his or her work attitude. However, that’s just me. As I have said, it will always be on Campaign Manager’s decision. It is just something that I think will be a factor when joining a signature campaign.

Time is a scarce and very precious resource, so right, you should focus on the section you think you can contribute more, even because you know more, or because you like most the topic, and you are on the path to learning about that.
Correct. People have a different strategy for handling their time. Which diverge with the following:

                                  • Your purpose. Are you here just for merit? Are you here to acquire knowledge about cryptocurrency? Or you are here because of signature campaigns? Setting on what you want to accomplish will determine how you will handle your time. Make a habit of having a purpose or reason why you are doing such things.

                                  • Right way to do it. Even if you have strategies on attaining your goals, if it is the wrong way, you won’t even get to level one. Make sure to take time reading, from what you have read, list down those things that you know will take advantage of your time. As people think or formulate their statement basing on what they have read or they see to other people. Some people may imitate someone and some people will make it a competition to attain their goals.

                                  • Have a sense of gratitude. Always think that every day is a blessing to learn new things and to help other people. Even if you have a small number of posts or may seldom post, you can have some impact on other people by just helping them. It may not earn merit, but, the impact on that person will remain and may get back to your post and drop some +m or other people will see it and just drop some +m.

                                  • Appraise yourself. Ask: Do I have enough knowledge now? Or has my milestone enough? You need to adjust to what you are looking at the next level of your milestone. Some people may say it worked before, so, I will just use it again, which is a bad habit. If you continue not to innovate yourself, you will end up frustrated or burn out.

                                  • Find room to improve. Always have a feeling of excitement on learning new things every day.  Do not trap yourself on the unsure aspect of life - Learn.

The above points are just some of my tips, which I have applied to myself. It may work or may not work for other people.

I remember people talking about how there used to be faucets for whole bitcoins back when BTC was just launched...
It was 5 free bitcoins, which is surprising nowadays.
For my first Bitcoin coding project, I decided to do something that sounds really dumb:  I created a web site that gives away Bitcoins.   It is at: https://freebitcoins.appspot.com/

Five ฿ per customer, first come first served, I've stocked it with ฿1,100 to start.  I'll add more once I'm sure it is working properly.

Why?  Because I want the Bitcoin project to succeed, and I think it is more likely to be a success if people can get a handful of coins to try it out.  It can be frustrating to wait until your node generates some coins (and that will get more frustrating in the future), and buying Bitcoins is still a little bit clunky.

Please try it out and get some free coins, even if you already have more Bitcoins than you know what to do with.  You can get some and then donate them right back; the address is: 15VjRaDX9zpbA8LVnbrCAFzrVzN7ixHNsC
                                  That's a classic.

                                  Good Project Smiley

I am a firm believer that education is the key to spread awareness about bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

I have read one article that will help you on starting your project,  it is from Start or join a group or cause.
I will just mention some points that might help you along the way:

                                  •   Organizing your structure. Once you’ve got your people together, you need to think about how you can structure your group. One of the best ways to organize a group is by levels of involvement. Who to trust as your group admin or your generals will depend on their level of awareness towards bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

                                  •   Key organizers and core group members. Generally, the people who have been around from the start and have lots of enthusiasm take on the major roles. In the case of a school, a teacher or another member of staff may be involved as a key leader. These people will usually be heavily involved in the main projects of the group, such as organizing meetings, events, volunteers and campaigns.

                                  •   Executive and coordinating roles. These people will generally be the leaders and representatives of the group.

                                  •   General members. These people will participate in the general discussion and attend meetings. They may want to move into coordinating or organizing roles later down the track, or get really involved in a specific project.

                                  •   Supporters. These people may not be actively involved in the group, but will help you get your message out there. For example, they might sign petitions, send emails, attend events or donate money.

                                  •   Keeping up the enthusiasm. It’s often tricky to keep a group inspired and excited about your cause. There are a number of things to avoid or watch.

Check if you’re overloading someone, if someone is given too much information in a short period of time, they can burn out and may leave the group. Make sure you regularly check that you’re not loading the same people up with all the information, all the time. Reassure them that they can discuss any issues or concerns at a group meeting or in private with core group member.

                                  •   Ask around. One of the easiest ways to find out what organizations are out there is to ask your friends and family. There’s a good chance that someone will be able to put you in touch with the right people.

                                  •   Keep an eye on the media. If a group is promoting itself (and its cause) you may find them in the newspapers, television or radio. Also, look for posters and flyers advertising events or publicizing an issue, often they have contact details that will put you in touch with a key member of the group.

In addition, I suggest that instead of using telegram group, you can use discord.
In discord you can create your own server, you can create text channel and voice channel there.

                                  Examples:
                                  Text Channel

                                  Voice Channel

You can create music voice channel just for the chill or audio books (bitcoin-related books). If you have meetings you can just go to Meetings voice channel.

Creating staff channel and modlog will help you on monitoring actions in your server and chat with your core leaders privately.

You can also invite bot to automate the sever.
                                  Example:
                                  Welcome Bot

If you want some auto roles, make sure to set 10 or 15 minutes’ delay before sending messages. It will give them ample time to read rules and other information you want them to know before chatting.

If you pay more attention, delayed parse time leads to gaps not only in received merits, but also in total merits.
Let's check the case of LoyceV, for example.
If you have been using BPIP before, it was accurate even with delayed parse.

Also, not just me noticed about it (PM conversation):

"a few weeks ago it seemed to have me on ignore (i.e. not on the list of top merited), and lately I had taken a sneak-peak and saw that I was back on but that the merits were not correct on quite a few number profiles. If you then enter a given profile, the numbers shown on "Current Merit" and "Merit Received" do not match either in some cases (further more than the airdrop justified gap between the two).

                                  Thanks anyhow for the heads-up."

PM saying "Hey, I bought this thing from you and left you positive trust, would appreciate it if you left me some too.",
This kind of PM indicates trust buying (IMO), people who have the intention to have green trust would PM someone just to gain trust feedbacks. Trust is earned along the way when you have more transactions. I think neutral feedback will do if someone PM you like this, it is like your confirmation to his/her positive feedback that you have done a transaction with that particular user at that time.

                                  1.   Do not just invest because it is bullish. People tend to ride on what is in. Many people noticed cryptocurreny on 2017, wherein people invested much of their time and money just to get into a new trend, which is bitcoin. Some people gained from it and there are people who have lose money from it.

                                  2.   Take the responsibility. Be your own bank. There are no banks, no third party, insurance company or support that will help you protect against any financial loss that may occur.

                                  3.   Emotions. Learn to control your emotions, especially when reading the news and when you’re into trading. It plays a major role on any investments. I know people react to what is in front of them, which will greatly involve your feelings at that particular moment. Do not be impulsive, take time to do what you think will be constructive in any particular situation that you are into.

                                  See you around.

It should be okay once BPIP updates your profile. That's where I get it from in this topic.
Speaking of BPIP, I think there is an error on the merit parsed.
                                  Examples are:
                                  https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=LoyceV - merit received should be 2073
                                  https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=DdmrDdmr - merit received should be 1865
                                  https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=theyoungmillionaire - merit received should be 617
