61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laws of Bitcoin on: August 27, 2020, 01:13:24 PM
The impact of knowing these laws can greatly affect the way on how the community will now approach their ways on how to spend and earn their Bitcoins along with other Cryptocurrencies. Knowledge regarding these different kinds of laws is already an important investment and must never forget some of the rules stated. Following certain rules or knowing some rules can never damage our personalities since some rules are placed to keep people away from danger.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: August 26, 2020, 10:32:52 AM
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

I guess everybody takes risk since they cannot take the opportunity to learn about the project since not all of the users joining campaigns have different jobs. They might have joined the campaign since it had minimum requirements and promised to give big rewards. Its true that its really sad when campaigns turns its back to its promoters since without the promotion, some platforms might never get known. I guess what really breaks a persons morale is when everything looks like a scam. We would not expect great campaigns but all we can do is vouch for legitimate campaigns and tell people about it.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: August 26, 2020, 10:06:18 AM
I can say that is still a good way to spend your own Bitcoins since you are gaining stuffs for yourself. Its like giving yourself a gift but we must always be mindful on how we spend our Cryptocurrencies since there are endless opportunities in investing on most Alternate Cryptocurrencies. We need to create a budget management on where we can have an income supply since that can be a good opportunity when we have money to spare.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxes on Bitcoins: Unreasonable or essential? on: August 24, 2020, 07:27:56 AM
Taxes on Cryptocurrency really sounds unreasonable since its all on the Internet. As long as you have access with the Internet, you can access all kinds of Cryptocurrency and that is why Cryptocurrency is useful. Its also not reasonable that you have to pay tax when you will use the Internet, that just depends on how can you access the Internet since you are already paying for the Service providers to give you access and they do not care how would you use it.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: building a crypto criminal database on: August 22, 2020, 05:02:37 PM
That is something new. Would it work like a real bounty rewards system? On where you will personally caught the wanted criminals then get rewards per the level of crime done by that criminal. That system can be really dangerous and can only work if the users using that system are part of the military and police force. They can also use the entire police record and should really coordinate with police force if they want something to work like that since all records are confidential.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: August 22, 2020, 04:06:46 PM
I'm looking for the easiest way to make old people understand Bitcoin more thoroughly. I want to let the elderly know about the "Bitcoin revolution", yet I find it quite challenging to explain it to them in a way they can understand how it all works. There are some wallets that have a "user-friendly" interface, but even the basics of sending/receiving Bitcoin can have a steep learning curve for the older people. A Bitcoin wallet with built-in accessibility features, could help even elder people with vision or hearing problems to use the pioneer cryptocurrency in their daily lives.

If you happen to know of a way to make old people understand Bitcoin easily, please let me know. Any suggestions or recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

We had an encounter on when an elderly got really excited to learn about Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies. He said that he already heard about it but did not engage into further understanding about it since it sounded like a fraud or impossible way to earn money. He got more engaged when we told him about unlimited possibilities to earn Bitcoin by only using a mobile phone. He then later further studied how to mine properly and now owns a mining equipment for Bitcoin. We can teach old people that it is still not to late to learn about Cryptocurrencies since there is always something new to learn about.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and crypto currencies are getting dangerous on: August 22, 2020, 03:44:55 PM
That actually depends on the exchange since some old exchanges does not require KYC before and its users are allowed to trade whenever they want. What's actually scary are the new exchanges that allow KYC since they are not yet known and they are forcing their way by using campaigns to have users register on them. We just need to depend on our own decisions since we are the one's who are giving our personal information.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines will drop as a Country, Economy on its worst! on: August 21, 2020, 12:53:24 PM
(I am a Filipino citizen)

We have the worst Government in this time of Pandemic, It's not all about the President but the Government as a whole.

what can you say about our situation for being the worst and also as the leading country on ASEAN that has a high  number of Covid Cases. It's been months already and yet, jnstead of recoveries we are getting most of it, and our economy is already falling. Or in other words, how will you react if you're one of us staying on the same country...

I am also a Filipino citizen and I can also say that we have the worst response to the occurring pandemic. The response should be fast and should mitigate the spread of the Corona Virus. Sadly, the response of the government ended in corruption and debt. There are news currently circulating that the whole Healthcare Department have been accused of theft since people lost their money even though they are not using it. Its also saddening that the response of the government is not helping the people and they are also blaming the Filipino people of being stubborn and can't follow simple rules. The Filipinos are starving and that is why they are creating their own decisions to feed their selves because they know that they cannot ask for more to the government since they are always saying that there are no more money. I just hope that our economic status won't fall any deeper since it would really be hard to come back from that.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for thesis? on: August 21, 2020, 12:31:19 PM
Could it be possible for a bitcoin to become a thesis? I mean its a way of spreading awareness of btc. What do you think?

Bitcoin is already explained in lots of website and doing a thesis project about it would just mean gathering those data and placing it in a book within your university. Blockchain Technology is much better to study and there can be lots of ways to use it. You can use it on procurement since you can track the processes done on the Blockchain.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best protfolio tracker on: August 21, 2020, 12:22:42 PM
I'm looking for a good portfolio tracker which supports most defi tokens and all major cryptocurrencies. Suggest one and reason why it is best suited for you.

I currently do not understand whats a portfolio tracker but to view multiple Cryptocurrencies, I use Coinlib which is helpful since it can also redirect me to some exchanges on where we can sell tokens that we were searching for. There are also user-friendly applications that is downloadable through the Playstore called Blockfolio.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: August 20, 2020, 01:36:57 PM
As we can see from the poll, Bitcoin is the clear winner and the one which can dominate the whole Cryptocurrency Market. There is no doubt about that but its still good to see another Crypto that can knock Bitcoin out of its position. We can see multiple Cryptocurrencies fighting for the number 2 spot but we can say that Ethereum is the second best Cryptocurrency.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: August 20, 2020, 01:34:29 PM
One of the things that Bitcoin done for me was teach me how to make use of my valuable time. At first, I was skeptical to learn Bitcoin because it was such an unbelievable news because all it was asking for is time to spend on a forum. When I further gain knowledge, I learned about Airdrops that all it takes to give them my wallet address and wait for that Alternate Coin to come and convert it into Bitcoin.

Bitcoin taught me to monetize my time and make sure to learn valuable stuffs regarding the whole Cryptocurrency Industry.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin on: August 20, 2020, 01:30:52 PM
The governments can't control Bitcoin because it is decentralized. It wasn't made in favour of a centralized system where one person or authority can have full power and control over its transaction. The farthest the governments can go is to impose regulations on Bitcoin transactions especially on the exchange sites.

That is actually what makes Bitcoin and other Blockchain Technology integrated Cryptocurrencies great. Being uncontrollable by the government and having its own growth development is the best for Bitcoin. Imagine Bitcoin having some unfair regulations about it, it will surely gain more value (or decrease) because of the fact that some things gets more value even though its being labeled badly. They just need to fully understand what are the capabilities of Bitcoin and the whole Blockchain technology.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality Projects Revival on: August 19, 2020, 12:25:07 PM
I was thinking about it so i thought to post about it here and discuss about this matter. Actually I have seen many good projects that either paused or cancelled there projects due to long bears market and decline of ICOs, I am talking about 2018 and onwards.
There were some good projects that got discouraged and closed the projects due to low or no funding in the bear market. My personal suggestion would be that the teams should consider reviving their projects now, modify them according to new market needs and then come up with a MVP and then start IEO or ITO as the market conditions seems to be improved now.
So what do you guys think about it?
Which projects or coins come to your mind that could have done well if they were able to raise decent funds?
Also if someone from the team of such projects reads this, he/she can share his thoughts and opinion too.

I would really like to promote Electroneum even though it has been branded as Shitcoin but I can still see the fact that some of their developers are willing to continue the project and that is a really great way to invite more people to use them. Electroneum is now being used in some countries on where they can pay for their stuff locally. They also changed lots of stuff in their mobile application in which you can now do referral programs to gain more ETN.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic on: August 19, 2020, 12:15:37 PM
Even before the time of the outbreak of the Corona Virus, Bitcoin and the whole Crypto Industry is always important. Cryptocurrency gave jobs to some people that only have the Internet and time as investments. Bitcoins sudden price surge really helped those people who HODLed them and that is an interesting fact because people knowing that can actually invite them to learn about Cryptocurrencies.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possibleTrump Will Prohibit Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2020, 12:13:41 PM
President Trump's attitude, which tends to be anti-Bitcoin, has raised the discourse that he could forbid the ownership of Bitcoin for citizens of the United States (US) in the future.

This discourse is based on two possibilities, namely Trump's tweet in 2019, that Trump is not a Bitcoin lover and second is a recognition of Trump's similar attitude, as stated in the book by John Bolton, a former White House security adviser.

Responding to the discourse of a possible ban on Bitcoin ownership, many people say the most likely action is an aggressive step by the government in dealing with laundering crimes related to Bitcoin and other crypto assets. Direct banning seems impossible, because Bitcoin is practically outside the structure of the country.

If other Presidents from different countries have taken attention to Bitcoin and the whole Cryptocurrency Industry, President Trump is also capable of doing that. It just depends on whether how he will take the information regarding Bitcoin. If he sees it as an opportunity on where the government can benefit, he might place some rules and regulations regarding on how to use it BUT if he sees it as a threat, then he can possibly ban it.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: August 18, 2020, 08:43:44 AM
There will be lots of instances to know whether the project is just some time-killing campaign for other people that just wants to join some campaign. That is the scary part since they can cater people to join their campaign and that would just waste their time. We can always look for some constructive criticism regarding some Alternate Coins. Then we can see whether the Creators of the campaign are willing to present their credentials in some public website. The website of that Alternate Coin must be created nicely and not just some website that is showing their platform. It should be informative and should display everything possible about that Alternate coin.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 18, 2020, 08:28:20 AM
That is actually what is happening because they want a bright future for something that they are campaigning for. Nobody wants to join a campaign that wont have a good result in the end. Lets take an example some Alternate Coins in the past that is still being developed today. We can take Electroneum for an example because once their campaign ended, the value of that coins was high and many people already sold them at that point. Though we can see recent updates from them that their platform is still alive and running which is still good even though the price of the coin reached a low value. We cannot actually determine on how and why the value of our tokens will grow but I think that will be dependent to the fact that the creators and developers of the platform and the people who are willing to support it throughout its growth.
