Netx diff retarget will be very very important........if will double...... Cry Cry
the diff should adjust down 2x with low hashrate and long target time span
waiting for diff to go down and release the modified re-target algo code

current hashrate on ispace is 120 Gh/s takes longer to find block  Cool

This means that Block Time is 3 minutes?
the current block time is ~ 3 minutes
it depends on the network hashrate and diff
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Chicoin CHI - SHA256 based Coin of Energy Force | Re-launch 0.9v on: January 21, 2014, 05:10:32 PM
on http://chi.ispace.co.uk/ hashrate 590Gh/s approximately 3 minutes per block
it could be the total network hash rate unless there are pool else where or solo tera machine
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Chicoin CHI - SHA256 based Coin of Energy Force | Re-launch 0.9v on: January 21, 2014, 04:52:00 PM
Can somebody tell me about

static const int64 nTargetTimespan = 7 * 24 * 60 * 60; // one weeks
the diff adjust not only up but also down
when hash rate goes down the 168 blocks re-target time is not too hard and too long to achieve and the diff will go down gradually
plus the tera machines are coming out soon

what asic miner u guys typically use ?
any preferences ?

I have 2 block erupter cube but thats because it's all that was available and at an acceptable price

iSpace ChiCoin Mining Pool now available at http://chi.ispace.co.uk

 Grin

Apologies, I had the pool running in the foreground window which I'd shutdown. Poll is active now.

whoa only three miners and 33Gh/s hashrate ? Shocked
what machine u guys using, bfly asic ?

well your going to be disappointing for what I just added. I have been waiting for a pool to start as I still havnt figured out the solo mining thing with these asics.

Now we're finding block Smiley
any suggestion on things to do to promote chicoin ?

building unix fails:

/libleveldb.a: could not read symbols: File format not recognized
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [chicoind] Error 1

 Huh
the version of gcc make a difference
the qt 4.8.4 compatible with mingw4.4 but not later version

as I mentioned later, the problem was precompiled sources in GIT.

"make -f makefile.unix (or makefile.mingw) clean" can also clean up the code directory

Can you clean up sources?
see an chicoind.exe and lot more checked in, that shouldnt be there.

also need to do first:
make clean inside the leveldb dir,

precompiled sources...IEEEK!  Roll Eyes
will update clean up in next revision
can check the sourceforge for release with zip
to compile qt, the chicoin-qt.pro need to be modified between windows and linux, the chicoin-qt.pro on git is currently for linux

The coin I've mined are from 2h in immature stat.....
Are this normal??? Huh

EDIT: Now it's ok!
it should confirm after next re-target

you have forgotten to replace the label on the bottom,
when mouseover is done over the 'sent CHICOIN' button:

"Transfer FFC to another wallet"

....
good catch
will update in the next revision
