the new wallets are excellent. I would add more memory to Ledger. And it is necessary to remove other wallets from the device
The restricted memory size is indeed annoying as you have to uninstall one wallet app to make room for another. I hope a future revision deals with this. Apart from that, I really like the Nano S, and now even more as it will support NEO.

I'm outside of USA
Is it possible to get airsrop as well?
I'm afraid you can only go and ask for a drop in situ. I don't see any form to register online.

This contract doesn't seem to be sending any tokens. Something seems to be wrong here.

The ICO will start in just two days, is there going to be be any big news coming up? I hope so at this point. For the rest everybody should do his own research before to invest, all the information are available and clear.
The researches have been done! Time to prepare our money to participate on the token sale. Utrust has something valuable and I don't want to miss the opportunity. It is a very promising project indeed. Getting ready for the ICO now!

I've bought some ATL in the ICO. I have high expectations of this project.

Seems like a project with big potential. Airdrop starts tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

I hope we get an update, some exciting news very soon now.
It's been too quiet for long.

I like the idea: being able to sell your knowledge/experience through a phone call. But I wonder how users are going to select who they should be calling for advise. I assume there will be categories (lawyers, medical, teacher, technical helpdesk, ...), but will there also be some kind of rating system, so experts can get ratings from experty users and perhaps even have their rate depend on it?

I've quickly read up on this.
Mining has gotten more and more centralized because it nowadays requires specialized hardware and significant investments. Each running their own full node would protect the bitcoin network against being hijacked by a group of miners with bad intentions.
Is this your main concern and the reason you'd want everyone to run a full node?
|
|
|
So how did you manage to do it as this transaction was only at 7 sat/byte?
|
|
|
I don't quite see the benefit of run your own full node. Aren't the miners already providing the needed computational power to verify the transactions? What am I missing here?

Paper wallets are the most secure, if left unused that is. It is also very cheap, but you would have to secure the paper (against fire, etc...). Their biggest disadvantage is that they are quite clumsy to use AFAIK. So if you happen to have a stash of bitcoin you know you wont touch before long, a paper wallet might be a good option.
But if you still want your bitcoins to be somewhat accessible for spending, a hardware wallet seems a better option IMHO. I prefer a hardware wallet as a middle ground between security and ease of use.

I don't think these bitcoin ATMs will last very long, but for now they are useful as a way to advertise bitcoin and as to get to know (the existence of) bitcoin. But once bitcoin would get more widespread and know by the common people, I don't see the need for them any longer.

My favs, apart from those that you already mentioned, are XLM (lumens), XRP (ripple) and VTC (Vertcoin). I have high expectations from these!

I've just discovered this project. Seems promising. I'll join the airdrop.

I think ETH has a very bright future in front of it. It also features fast transaction speeds and low tx fees. On top of that you have the ERC20 smart contracts that also are booming and have a bright future indeed. Just look at the endless possibilities. I think Ethereum was the best thing to happen to blockchain technology since its inception with bitcoin.
|
|
|
As always do your own research before you invest in anything. But I'd invest most of it in BTC (bitcoin), large part in ETH (ethereum) and rest in altcoins as LTC (litecoin). Also I think XRP (ripple) has quite some potential.

Yes, I see this possible, even before the upcoming fork.
What will happen immediately after the fork, is much harder to say. With the BCC fork, it continued to rally up, but we'll have to see what will happen now.
But in the short term I expect it to rise further, quite possibly to $7K and beyond.

I believe bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) will grow further and earn a steady place next to fiat money for the next few years. This will be unstoppable. I don't think it will replace fiat money completely any time soon, but rather peacefully co-exist. Somewhat like it does now, but on an even bigger scale.
At some point in the future I do expect bitcoin / cryptocurrencies to replace the fiat money completely, though I don't think that time will be here soon. More like in a few decades.
