61  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 16, 2018, 02:48:19 AM
What happens if you are in a third world country and there is massive corruption? You pay taxes and there are no roads, schools, or any essential public utilities. What you do see is the politicians and their cronies getting richer. Would you still argue that everybody should continue paying taxes?

In our country they build a new tax reform, we're in they set a minimum salary that requires tax that need to less the required minimum tax monthly. Just like me I'm just earning below minimum wages that's why i have exemption with that reform, but the problem is, the common necessity had increase their price so it's almost the same. But for me paying tax is ok if they use it for the good of every body, not for their own goods.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering ? on: June 16, 2018, 01:45:53 AM
Do you think bitcoin is going to reach june rates soon ?

We can never predict the movement of Bitcoin price. But one thing for sure is that, Bitcoin is volatile so it doesn't mean that if the price gets fall down it will never bounce back anymore. I guess being  a bitcoiner you should check daily the Bitcoin market cap specially if you own a huge amount of Bitcoin so that in the event that Bitcoin price bounce back you wouldn't missed the opportunity.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: June 16, 2018, 01:39:05 AM
I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?

In this generation, everything is possible using hightech kinds of technology, if you notice their are many times that some of the government sites was hack by some famous hacker. That's why even in crypto world could also happen. I suggest do all some safety precautions in order for you to secured your account, just like activiting your 2fa authenticator, and don't ever use password that is related to your personality so they can't get any hints from you.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: June 15, 2018, 02:53:55 PM
In my side, I will not put or invest a big amount of money. I will only invest or buy crypto coins that I can afford to loose. Although it only have a low gained of profits, but still it is the most effective and consistent way to avoid the risk and become failure in life.

Well, in all aspects taking risk always gives you to results, negative and positive. But always remember that as a new Comer's in trading world, you need to prepare your self not just having huge amount of money but, you should be mentally prepared,  learn how to handle stress, don't panic and always think positive. If you already master those kind of treats then you are now ready to get involved in trading world.

{bolbau, legend378}
{LBX, hamade}

The above have been tagged for obvious reasons (i.e. time between merit tx's).

misteid, mohamed reda and big.pharaoh have all only received merit. The last one was kind of difficult since all the posts were deleted but if you start tagging the receiving user in merit spam, then you open up access for scammers to falsely link themselves with regular users.
Good find.

hello thanks for your attention, let me clear this problem. that was my friend account, we are just trying a new merits system, how its really work. in this case, we are just want to know, if im sending 1 merits, hes really get 0,5 smerits to send or no. i dont sell anything. I give merits of my own will, not for any profit, you should be able to prove that im trading, do not make subjective judgments. if you think this is abusing the system, abusing for what? profit? the forum rank legend378 did not even go up, and im sending 5 merits for nothing, i do not understand why this is called abuse merits system. tell me. I can prove if im not doing any merits trading, but I want my reputation back good.

this is my prove if im not selling any merits. me and my friend is an active bounty campaigner. if you see on our daily post, you know what ETH wallet address we both have
legend378 (my friend) eth address : 0x2a868BC141599377d718032EB40baB7033791529
bolbau (me) eth address : 0x068151497c5CDe138A4d4635132A5A051fE2C336

if I selling merits, there is no transaction that legend378 has sent a number of eth to me in the time range 16 march - 1 april (giving merits). our only transaction is on the 13th of March, where I give some eth to legend378 to pay gas price. so obviously I never get any benefit from the legend 378. this is obviously just an experiment for our knowledge (merits system work).

this is our prove that legend378 is not alternative account or my second account. im searching how to know bitcointalk account ip address login history, but some thread said only moderator can do that. so we using another option to make you believe us. we really trying to solve this problem.

1. this is bolbau (me) login computer and ip address screenshot

https://imgur.com/a/CZcNHAQ

2. this is legend378 (my friend) login computer and ip address screenshot

https://imgur.com/a/6dBIIZB

you can also see our bounty campaign report that we dont have the same facebook and twitter account.

the conclusion we can give is that there is no element of abuse of merits at all, whether for personal gain or both parties. the problem is purely just our experiment to know how merits systems work. we do not really care about the number of merits we get, thanks.
I know that what we both do is not good and suspicious, here I am just trying to explain honestly. at least we both now know, what not to do with merits system.
thanks, I really appreciate your work for the good of this forum.

If this is out of your curiosity, sending 1 merits is enough but unfortunately you send  merits for how many times in just one day, this is a way to easily increase your rank. And I didn't mention any selling of merits, It just cought  my attention on how you abuse the merits system.

After reading some of the member post and the way use their merit and smerits, it catch my attention with this account.

73  Other / Meta / Re: [Tutorial] How to add image to a post on: May 29, 2018, 05:44:42 AM
You neglect to mention the fact that Newbies cannot post images - they would require a copper membership to do that. Try harder. Smiley

Edit - you also neglect to mention the imgur link MUST have a jpeg/png extension. Linking to an "album" in imgur using img tags fails with proxy error.

what i need for a junior member? i will make a post with images, but i cant.

first of all try to read all the guidelines and rules in this forum before anything else. you are eager to post images for what? to have merits? as what "owlcatz" mentioned, newbies cannot post images.

try to visit this thread in order for you to learn everything about this forum. Wink

75  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to gain more tokens ? on: May 22, 2018, 03:38:06 AM
Hi I'm newbie here, i just want to ask if anybody knows how to increase gaining a token ?

there's a lot of way on how to gain token. in this forum you can joined bounty campaign were in most of the payout is token, but before that, you need to create first an account to any social media out there like, twitter or facebook. after having an account in any social media. your account need to audit so that they can check if your follower is real or not. after that you can joined any bounty campaign and they will pay you token.
76  Other / Meta / Re: 100 Days of Merit on: May 22, 2018, 03:08:53 AM
all graph seems to be very informative, it shows how this merits affect each member. most of the  graph dominated by a higher ranks in giving merits to everyone. you can also determine that full member and above are the most active in giving merits to a person that they think they deserved to have merits. it also shows that merit system become more effective to avoid shitposter to rank up their account.
77  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system is not working, failed! on: May 19, 2018, 12:14:16 AM
The merit system is not working, look the merit points of people on the forum, it does not move (even for the more relevant posts), the forum established a system which was suppose to penalize newcomers flooding the forum with useless post, but the forum penalize itself, good luck everybody, If you think people will give you merit points for free you are mistaken.

I think the member itself should choose a topic that really contribute to this forum, cause most of time people prefer to post in a thread were in, it's already have 1-50 pages. Usually this kind of thread are just repeating the answer by everyone just to complete their required post. So try to find a unique topic, and give an informative post so you can get merit.
78  Economy / Reputation / Lesson learned! on: May 17, 2018, 10:37:11 PM
I know that this place is a place were member usually have the same colors, "the red one". And most of the time they keep on appealing about their negative trust.

First and foremost all DT  member have work hard just to have that position.

They don't just leave neg. trust without valid reason cause I know there are eagles eye watching them also.

If you got red paint just move on, stop making or spreading some thread just to have a sympathy with anyone else.

Worse thing is, you will totally banned in this forum.

If you don't want to be one of them follow all the rules, that's the simplest way to avoid neg. Trust😉😉😉😉
79  Other / Meta / Re: An easy question - post count in BTC on: May 17, 2018, 08:45:35 AM
Hi, I am aware that a few people including myself donīt understand the post counting in Bitcointalk, that is, once in a while I will post five times in a day, but my post count only increases by letīs say three.

Why is that? Is it because I am posting fast or twice on the same thread or is there any explanation?

Notice that posts are NOT deleted nor spam nor moved, simply not counted.

avoid posting in a thread that already have 1-50 pages cause its already considered a trash thread. it will not counted to your activity cause that thread will be deleted soon.
80  Other / Meta / Re: Why are so many accounts being reported as hacked? on: May 17, 2018, 08:38:59 AM
The forum login doesn't appear to be particularly vulnerable to me, and the use of a decent anti-virus package should provide some additional protection. My instinct is to believe that most of the hacked accounts are sold accounts, but I'm not sure that reporting them would be of much benefit.

The other alternative is a lack of sensible precautions. Leaving a computer logged into Bitcoin Talk whilst you go to the 'loo, or some other place, would seem to be pretty stupid if you are posting from a location with other computer users nearby. Allowing your browser to supply passwords is fine if you are sure nobody else will use your machine, but if you are in a dormitory, and leave your machine unattended, then it may not be the most sensible thing to do.

So do we have a profile of the people who are losing their accounts? Are most of them posting from educational establishments or libraries?

phising is number reason why theirs a  lot of account have been scam. most of the scammer send a personal message were in, if you open the links it will automatically copied all your important information so better stay away from all the message that is not related from you or anonymous sender.
