so, to continue.... 1.3Tb over 3 seperate pc's, for 2 days, found 1 block on the last machine I added with the smallest -lot of 50Gb.

checked it again, same.

but to clarify - my generate bat files has my 'numeric ID' not my text passphrase. right?

maybe silly hint but are you 100% sure the passphrases you use when login to wallet is the same as in the passphrases.txt, because with 1.3T you should have something

yup, that's running.
the original instructions say to run the run.bat (server) in root, then the wallet's run.bat in the burst subfolder, then generate(s) bat

does the order matter?
still trying to figure out why 3 pc's are getting nothing.

the run_mine.bat should look like this?

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx750m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner mine "http://127.0.0.1:8125"%*

am I missing my mining address or anything else from this file?

You dont need the address because the miner is using the plot files which contain your address.

You do need the wallet server running though

500Gb, 500Gb, 200Gb
+
50Gb
+
50Gb

nothing found on any.
still plotting the 500Gb's

I manually sync'd.

so;
- after your plots are done being created, the 'run_generate.bat' will close on its own, and you will have only the wallet and 'run_mine.bat' running?

- the burst wallet screen site idle for the most part?
My last activity in the 'wallet' window was 2 days ago.

I have 3 pc's running, nothing found yet....

did you sync your system time before mining? dev said it's very important
how many total space did you use?

- also maybe a bug in the wallet webpage
does anyone notice on the Blocks menu - 'All Blocks' and 'Mined By You' does not change\refresh when either buttons are clicked?
(or is my wallet stuck)

?

thx

the calculation to use in the bat file for the size of plots you want to create\dedicate

Like this (I think)

Drive Capacity In 'Gb'    Plot #
6400                         25600000
3200                            12800000
1600                            6400000
800                            3200000
400                            1600000
200                            800000
100                            400000
50                            200000
25                            100000
12.5                            50000
6.25                            25000
3.125                            12500
1.5625                    6250
0.78125                    3125

any math geniuses can do up a simple chart for hard drive plot sizes?

1gb =
5 gb =
10 gb =

etc.?

What do you mean with "hard drive plot sizes"? The number of nonces?

I have 4tb still waiting for plotting to complete.
How long did it take you?

It would be nice if someone is able to confirm if mining is possible on the network mapped drives. Thx.

it can't i suppose, because if you want to read or write the network mapped drivers, it will still download to your local first, like you can't edit file in the network mapped drivers directly,,if you can use the network mapped drives like local hdd,,,than who will by the hdd...just apply lots network mapped drives!

i have my miner running on a network mapped drive. i'm using one of my spare 4tb ext4 formatted disk in my qnap whose shared folder i have as a mounted drive on my windows 8.1 machine and i've found 4 blocks with it so far.

1. backup your wallet and conf files.
1b. backup your wallet and conf files again.

2. try adding these nodes to your conf file;

addnode=162.243.222.146
addnode=198.199.116.77
addnode=162.243.205.200
addnode=162.243.49.230
addnode=162.243.222.146
addnode=198.199.116.77
addnode=162.243.205.200
addnode=162.243.49.230
addnode=72.187.27.243:24242
addnode=188.178.145.136:24242
addnode=85.238.96.186:24242
addnode=24.212.252.61:24242

if no luck, then you may have to

3. delete the blockchain files (NOT your wallet.dat or .conf)

Interesting how so many coins all fail at the same point during launch...

Always seems to be source is late, not uploaded and compiled in time for launch
How hard is it to distribute a file - in this case a 'filesharing-based' coin cant share it's own wallet in time?

- why not try putting a password on the file, then only release the password at launch...

c'mon people...really.

coin wallet is disabled at bittrex, I'm assuming this is expected?

thx for info

I just compiled the wallet for my pool. I tested the wallet and mining. Transferred to Cryptsy. I am on the correct chain. If anyone else would like to mine, come on over to www.diggerpool.com. You CAN mine with your Cryptsy address. No registrations.

that format crashes it on launch.
you have to do: Addnode=83.212.117.249:55560
I already had that in my conf
...still same problem

ya, 8 active connections, but frozen at ~18926 blocks

Addnode: 83.212.117.249:55560

and try again
