What does everything think will happen with ripple in the near future and distant future
Any good news or bad news on the project
Please give your opinions
XRP is a centralized coin for banks. Even if you don't like the bank like i do, banks will not go anywhere. They will try to survive in order to catch up on the game. Agreed, of all things, it seems the most 'backed'. When they're so cheap, honestly I can't see the harm in owning a few.

I hope Peter can re-open the ANN thread so we can all discuss about the price. It is very low at the moment, too low compared to the ICO price It is low, but it's picked up a little since the first days of trading! I don't think they want to hear from us however lol!

I use myetherwallet. So far so good! The rest I keep on my exchange. While the exchange I use recommends that you store in a safe wallet, I have found their site to be secure and really hate shifting things around, when I'm planning on selling often etc.

Sorry you got scammed! Thanks for the list. I nearly got scammed with one, but realised, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

I have bought a few hundred for the long term, because really, they're cheap as chips and why not. Worst case I lose some money. Best case they hit the sky. I have a little bit of money I play the market with, short term, I've already played and made profit with xrp.

I have joined the sig campaign. When I did the code was too many characters for the newbie signature allowance, so you might want to delete some of the spaces like I had to.
O wow. Well spotted and thank for telling us. Since I'm a newbie, Ill test it and get it changed. No worries I spotted it because it left the code " [cente " Glad I could help

I don't think you'll really get an 'honest' answer here, too many people trying to "sell" their own product or make gains. I'd say independent research is always the best answer. Look for something that is new and innovative, that you can see real world use for. Try to avoid the company that's repackaged the same product 50 other companies have created.

I think overall Ethereum is a better chance of increasing dramatically than other currencies. It seems to have more uses and things requiring Eth. I believe that after the hard fork, Eth will jump back in value. It dropped less than BTC did with the Chinese announcement.

If I could only choose one I'd choose gold. It's a tangible object that I know will still be here in 10 years and still have some value.

My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.
same, a friend told us about them in 2009, should have paid attention

Money doesn't buy happiness as such! But it sure does make life comfortable! You can be poor as a church mouse, content and happy. But life can be much more of a struggle.

To be honest that seems better than having actual posts deleted that seem slightly off topic which I've had done O.o yet I've seen posts with pages and pages of links to tweets etc. How is that even allowed? I guess the "I've joined" means it's public, but posting updates on your twitter/retweets here is annoying and somewhat pointless. Also I'd not seen the original post. thx

Hi there
I have been thinking about this for a while and I have seen the same question in the Spanish thread. So, if you die do you have a plan to give you currencies to your relatives?
This is mu strategy: I have copied the paper wallets in a usb key, compressed with a password. The usb key contains a file with the instructions to guess the password (you have to know me in person). This usb has been put in my house, in the drawer, with some clothes. So if anything happens suddenly to me, I hope that my family, one day, will remove my clothes off and the usb will appear. If the follow the instructions the will keep all the money.
Any other ideas?
I don’t know if this is true, but I have heard that those usb sticks or thumb drives will lose data if they sit too many years not plugged into a computer. I think I’ve heard that they need the charge from a computer about every 5 years to retain the data. Like I said, I can’t say for sure it’s true, but I don’t trust them with my Bitcoins or altcoins. I rely on paper printouts of my public and private keys and store them safely in multiple places that no one will find. I don't think that's true! I've had sticks for years and they still work 100%. I would google the answer if you're really worried. You could always check it every year. It wouldn't die in a year!!

Anything that sounds too good to be true, usually is Why would they give you this for free? Surely they'd keep it all for themselves. Unless they're trying to sell you something, and this is to whet the appetite, it's a scam.

It's an interesting question. One for which I do not yet have the answer I saw someone say they own lots of USB's and they doubt family will look at them. I am pretty sure eventually someone will. I highly doubt they'd just throw them out. I actually had a friend who told us about bitcoin many many long years ago (when they were oh so cheap). I worry that he actually did buy some, he died about 7-8 years ago now. I imagine if he did have them, he'd probably just have saved the info on his computer or an email address, which would be long gone. So those BTC's are forever lost :/

Ats not pay the bounty reward, every bounty hunters scammed.
This is not really true. I've received my reward just like the friend of mine. Maybe some cheaters didn't receive any indeed. But I'm sure that ATS is not scam. I referred 3 people none got their tokens, but I did O.o how does that even make sense? Also my mother and I paid, I got both my paid and 'free' tokens, she only got her paid.. Emailed, but nothing in days :/ It's because they have not paid - you will see earlier posts by Anduin, he explains it quite clearly, almost 50% of the users have not got their tokens. I got my tokens, however my 4 ref's did not, they were only going to get 75 tokens. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2234745.100 - you can check here. All these morons who are creaming their pants over ATS are deluded, this is an extremely poorly managed token and it will be a miracle if it even gets close to the fantasy price Nolan put on it. You can't trust people who weren't even competent enough to ensure freely distributed tokens got into the right hands. His calculations looking good BUT unfortunately there is almost no chance to get tokens or change the situation devs moved on Yeah I ended up seeing that post. I hope in the end that my paid tokens will be worth something! Currently much less than I paid for them :/ at least there is some value hahah.
