61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confidence in Cryptocurrency on: May 25, 2019, 07:25:25 PM
it will be good if the cryptocurrency will be accepted by the government and then confidence in these tools will appear from investors

That's is just the major opposition cryptocurrency has, that's the government. If the government can accept cryptocurrency, it will be more confidence in the minds of the prominent investors wishing to come in big time.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens prices are decreasing? on: May 25, 2019, 07:21:38 PM
i don't hold any of them in first place to want to decide what to do when they get dumped! we all know that sooner or later all the altcoins out there are going to get dumped so the only question is when to get in and how long to stay in.
the answer depends on the market itself and the potential of the ongoing pumps that the specific token has. then as soon as that pump ended you must make your exit instead of waiting around.

Holding a coin is really for the strong in mind. I just wonder how one will see a coin dumping and wouldn't want to sell and take out capital at least. I guess that's for a longterm hold.. Waiting for the price to rise back to expected price is just a risk
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TO DO ABOUT 2019? on: May 25, 2019, 07:17:18 PM
like the previous prediction, everyone predicts the end of 2018, then they change it to the beginning of 2019, but I see market recovery taking years time.

And your own prediction of market taking years time, how do you see it now that the market is recovering? One thing I dont do is say a thing on price because, crypto is very very unpredictable. The same market recovering now might turn out to become something else tomorrow.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have any books to recommend? on: May 24, 2019, 11:44:01 AM
I don't know if there are books that already published about crypto but I think there are so many alternative way to enhance our knowledge about crypto and the way we earn. Like in this page bitcointalk.org we can learn based on personal experienced of the investors and I think this is better rather than objective type of learning like in books.

The first thing is knowing actually the kind of books the poster is interested in reading because he/she didn't state this. If it's motivational books, there are a lot of them online one can download and read. But my problem is how people actuary combine reading books with crypto activities. I prefer visiting forums in between my activities to read and broaden my knowledge.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important question to Investors!! on: May 24, 2019, 11:38:47 AM
I prefer sto's but for ico i am looking for deflation system.

Like % of some transactions are continuously burning. Also, a product that makes sense.

STOs are not so rampant like ICOs and IEO that are overtaking the space now. To me, all are similar in some way. What do you mean by % burning? Like the project burning some percentage of their token? I think I hardly hear about this these days. ICOs are becoming discouraging now. I just go with an ICO has a working product and good usecase with a dedicated team.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: sick of high fees Ive moved over to alts on: May 24, 2019, 11:35:05 AM
I used to be in the bitcoin core crowd but after still paying ridiculous fees recently Ive moved over to bch and SV, I Guess this is kind of a rant, but I dont understand who the hell wants to pay high fees to send money to someone.

Hahaha.. This is definitely a rant. You realized early cos no one wants to stay in a place where losses will be higher than gains. All these platforms are making enough from people, exchanges too that's why I quickly abandon any exchange that charges high fees.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS Discussion on: May 24, 2019, 11:31:28 AM
I write for https://www.eoswriter.io/ and will be posting some of our most exciting articles and research here. Also, I am going to be attending the June 1st Block. One event in Washington DC, ping me if you are interested in meeting.

This is a nice one to see updates on EOS. I have been postponing to get an EOS wallet. Keep it up and let the updates fly in.. Lol.. For the event, I really wish I can attend but location is a barrier here. Success..
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only the strongest will survive the great altcoin purge on: May 24, 2019, 11:24:30 AM
This speaks of choice and I make ethereum and bitcoin the right choice because if we look at them simply both are future projects.

Exactly, the bone of contention here should be future coins. Most of the alcoins there exhibit behaviors to show they won't last in the space. I can only go with coins that show considerable increase and involvement of the team. Not just a project of group admin and community members.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your past experience will always be an added advantage on: May 19, 2019, 03:16:01 PM
My past experience is a big lesson for me in this space, and honestly the lesson is pushing me on. Anyone who ignores or doesn't think back on past experiences only calls for more failure in life.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: May 19, 2019, 03:13:53 PM
As you know, the cryptocurrency market can see huge changes in a matter of few minutes, making it very unpredictable. However, there are some fundamental factors which can influence the prices of any cryptocurrency. Prediction of Cryptocurrency future price are base on two factors 1) Historical price trends
(2) Historical volume trends. So,  there can not be a single and concrete prediction of any Cryptocurrency because of the very nature of cryptocurrency.

What is your view about Cryptocurrency price?

Anyone who predicts cryptocurrency price is only making guesses either to lure people and make money or just for selfish purposes. It's never possible in my opinion unless if course one gets firsthand information from the whales who are said to control the market..
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Can $50 Million From Banks Add To The Crypto Industry? on: May 19, 2019, 03:10:53 PM
The banks should get in more. I don't believe this news though, but if it's true, then cryptocurrency is getting to where it's expected to be. Banks are enemies of crypto and I wonder why they should pump money into cryptocurrency. It's doesn't add up.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good investment? on: May 19, 2019, 03:08:23 PM
I'm not sure why you are still asking here as you seem to have done your research already about this project and concluded that it is good. Would you change your mind if others would have a different opinion?

It clearly shows the post was just made for posting sake. I don't k ow why people do that. You will see almost similar post  across the forum made by different people. I just wonder, is it that they do not read others posts or what? Most frequently asked questions like this one have already been answered here many times.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about this "industry" on: May 19, 2019, 03:05:09 PM
judging from this post, the conclusion is one - now there is a continuous lawlessness!

Absolute lawlessness in the industry. Nobody cares about growth, all people want is just to make money in whatever way and whatever means available. If some of these behaviors can be curbed, this space will be a lot more better and profitable.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does crypto keep screwing me over?? on: May 18, 2019, 04:25:00 PM
Its soooo unfair..  Sad like i will hold USDT for weeks at a time, and all the coins will pump!
but the day i decide to finally invest in a altcoin, it instantly turns into a blood bath!
EVERY FRIGGIN TIME

and i buy at the BOTTOM of the BOTTOM... whyyy does this always happen to me.. its totally not fair  Embarrassed

anyways.. what do you guys think about Wabi and KMD.. do you like these coins?

thnxx

Try to get over it dude. You are not the only one. But this happens when you do not check properly or follow the trend of the market well before investing. It's not good to investing when you see market is doing well, a good trader will tell you to buy when there's dip.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: May 18, 2019, 04:23:18 PM
I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.

The only comment is, just move on. Keep exploring. Someday, you will get the project that will give you more profit than you imagined. But truth be told, investing in ICOs, a very risky journey for those who have funds to spare.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to invest now? on: May 18, 2019, 04:19:14 PM
Seeing market slowly recover then it is a good sign that there could be next ATH. So, while crypto is cheap.now, Do you think that it is better to invest now? How ready are you to do it. Are you going to invest all at once or make a succeesion of investment over a period of time.

Please let me know your plans and strategy and how you think you can earn from the market.

I advice you keep your funds tight or rater invest in a good low sat coin. Researching crypto projects will be very useful at this time cos if you follow the trend or listen to calls going on now, you will end up in a very big loss.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suggest participate in airdrop? why? on: May 18, 2019, 04:17:12 PM
It's been quite a long time I participated in airdrops. I won't even advice anyone to participate in airdrops now because the reward is nothing less than shit. Before you can earn well, you need to build a very large nwtwork of referrals and people abuse that these days.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a whale is buying Bitcoin then I too will buy Bitcoin. on: May 18, 2019, 04:14:32 PM
If the whales are secretly buying up Bitcoin than I will buy Bitcoin at the current market rate. Even if it goes to 2500$. Gives me sum hope in the crypto space. Only if I find out they are buying through forums etc.

And if you actually did as you stated in this post, I will need to pay you a visit cos you are in some big profit.. Wow.. If only I can kow when the whales are stocking up bitcoin.. Well, it's good to follow one's mind. I ignored my instincts when bitcoin fell, if not I would have been smiling very well now.. Lol
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP rises quickly! on: May 17, 2019, 08:18:26 PM
What is the main cause that makes XRP prices rise significantly to reach the price of $ 0.41. Or indeed this is the impact of changes in the conditions of crypto market capitalization in the last few days. Give your opinion here about XRP and the latest news. Thank you all.

People are now convinced we are moving forward for another bull run and XRP is one of the trusted cheap coin. As we have seen in the last bull run, cheaper the price sooner it would double and hence more profit.

I already loaded up my portfolio with XRP and hoping it goes up more. The problem is, hope this is not the end of the bull run, and if it's correction, it shouldn't give me a huge loss.. Infact no loss at all.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will mining be profitable again? on: May 17, 2019, 08:14:36 PM
Now that bitcoin is at 7000k plus is mining becoming profitable again? Or bitcoin still have to surge more in price before profitable mining returns?

Am yet to know what is involved in mining but as I hear from friends who are miners, the business is a very profitable one. I do not know if there's a way prices affect mining but am thinking a surge up in price will give positive return when it comes to mining. Mwanwhile, you should ask this question on the mining section to get clearer answer.
