61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 27, 2017, 09:38:37 PM
it will depend on the situation of the bitcoin, but yes I would accept the bitcoin without problems, maybe if they will pay me 2k $ today, tomorrow it will be worth 2k500, but hey risky I confess
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally legal in India on: September 27, 2017, 09:33:54 PM
This is good news, anyway a country can not banish the bitcoin, which is good is that the bitcoin is accessible to everyone, unless the country decides to ban the internet to its inhabitants, but I do not think that this can happen, all this to say that instead of forbidding the bitcoin, one must learn to monitor and master
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leave Bitcoin in Exchange? on: September 27, 2017, 09:15:18 PM
I advise you to use a windows / mac wallet, it is much safer than a wallet online, it allows you to sleep quietly without worrying about your bitcoin
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: September 27, 2017, 08:39:54 PM
The worst of the reactions is to panic, it is necessary to keep its calm even when the bitcoin is at the lowest, do not sell your bitcoin. I do not stop repeating it but nobody listens to me.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this a possible way 'they' could criminalise bitcoin? on: September 27, 2017, 08:25:46 PM
I think it would be easy to do so, but watching the bitcoin is not an easy thing to do, it's hard, so it would be easier to ban it, you know, all that governments can not monitor their fear

Apologies for the delay.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fork failed? on: August 02, 2017, 02:52:50 PM
Someone say yes. someone say no. Could anyone explain that fork has been occurred or not?

the fork has been done so bitcoin cash already created from that fork

that is an altcoin, not a fork, the fork didn't happen theymos said so in his thread, bitcoin cash is an attempt to do a fork but they created an altcoin, but i don't know why they both share the same private key

Same chain, just different miners and thus different nodes.  I don't know yet how the network differentiates between the different nodes.  But if it isn't able to,  BTC and BCH nodes get a lot of transactions that are invalid.   So not only do BCH miners have to sort through a lot of invalid transactions, they have to do this with not a lot of hash.

Not unusual for this to get stuck for a very long time.  We shall see.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fork failed? on: August 02, 2017, 02:12:15 PM
The fork did occur, it was very successful. Bitcoin cash is up and running, it was 35% up on coin market cap the last time I checked. It is no 3 on Coinmarket cap. Welcome to the free market.

Is a coin 'up and running' if it can't transfer coins?  The last time I checked,  the last block was over 11 hours ago.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fork failed? on: August 02, 2017, 02:11:05 PM
Overall it fails as a currency, but does decently well on exchanges in spite of the inability to deposit.
You mean because of the inability to deposit. Nobody who wants to dump their Bitmain Crash coins can send their coins to an exchange in order to do so.

Not only deposit,  but actually move the coin elsewhere.

Needs at least two steps  (1) move coin into a new BCH address.  (2) move coin from BCH address to exchange.   At 11 hours a block, that will take quite a while to happen!
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fork failed? on: August 02, 2017, 02:08:14 PM
The fork did occur but many miners abandoned BCash coin right after it split from the main chain. The exit of the miners results to extremely delayed block creation due to the pre-calcuated difficulty and as a result no transactions with BCash can go through. Overall it fails as a currency, but does decently well on exchanges in spite of the inability to deposit.

Once the difficulty goes down more miners would go back if there is a profit incentive.

Nobody can really say it is failed until a few months from now. There is still a chance it will succeed as an alt coin.

If the difficulty drops by 20 times and bcc is worth 1/5th of btc, then miners will to to bcc. They will just switch between coins imo

How the does the difficulty go down if there aren't miners to create blocks?

My prediction is that there will be people going to pay a bounty to have blocks mined.  This is so they can get their money into exchanges.

It's is kind of like having gold, but its stranded in a country without transportation!
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why no BCC/BCH block after 478570 for last several hours? on: August 02, 2017, 02:06:32 PM
It will take a few weeks for the difficulty adjustments to balance with the available hash power.

Difficulty adjustments only happen when blocks are mined.  So without any being mined (since 11 hours ago),  there are a ton of BCH just sitting in limbo that aren't going to move unless miners make a sacrifice.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to get your BCC and your BTC if you had BTC on paper wallet before fork? on: August 02, 2017, 02:04:40 PM
so how to send bcc to exchange? bittrex and kraken not accept  Cry

Well,  the blocks have to be mined first to get a confirmation!   Last block was 11 hours ago.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHY BCC PRICE KEEPS INCREASING on: August 02, 2017, 02:01:44 PM
It might be a indication of investors trying to pump up the price of Bitcoin Cash before cashing them out, but it is too early to tell how the future of Bitcoin Cash will develop as the market is still very unstable and is very subjected to high volatility, maybe it would be better to observe for a longer period of time.
Could possibly be that, price pumped a lot the past few hours, now it has started dropping in a dramatically high pace, indicating how risky it even is to try and invest in BCC.

There is less risk pumping the coin in a small exchange.  That is because nobody can move BCH and exploit the inefficiencies.

The game plan is likely to pump in small exchanges and dump coins in large exchanges.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHY BCC PRICE KEEPS INCREASING on: August 02, 2017, 01:58:25 PM
Artificial scarcity.

The only ones who have BCH in exchanges are the ones who had BTC in the exchange.

The last block was mined 11 hours ago.  So it will take days to get even 3 confirmations to move BCH.

Also, you can't arbitrage between exchanges since it takes too long to move BCH.  Meaning you can't buy low in one exchange and sell it high in another.

Seems like the video has been removed.
Can you update the link?

I don't recall who the original author is.   So its indeed unfortunate.

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tau-Chain and Agoras Official Thread: Generalized P2P Network on: June 19, 2017, 08:14:02 PM

I understand your concern and I do agree with you in a lot of points, but there is no other project that I know is that interesting as Tau is, I also invested a significant amount of resources into Agoras, but I know that this project as disruptive it sounds has it's chances to never see the light and I'm  fine with it.

I've been following some other projects in the crypto world, and being doing some good profit "playing a little", but as far as I understand Tau is a game changer, if this success it will mean a lot.  But again, agree with you on the secrecy and I also would love to see something tangible. But like old good brandy, we may need to wait a little and I'm patient.

As an investor in this project I like it to succeed,  therefore I'm willing to help in all I can for it, maybe it's not too much but I'm here for the project.

When is the ICO date?

Sometime in July.

Already a DL based token

https://beth.jp/

That's a closed end fund. This one is completely different

The specific difference is that Beth may use Deep Learning for its trading algorithms (like a hedge fund has its own proprietary algos) while in contrast Intuition Fabric (iFab) is a marketplace for training, developing and using DL technology.
