62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox account compromised on: June 10, 2011, 11:08:15 AM
The same thing happened to me too. I login my account today and found I lost 42.9$ in my account, and I have no idea about the latest two trade in my trade history. I mean even my account is week, the hacker shouldn't know my username. Someone in the office must be leaking user's information.
63  Economy / Marketplace / Re: REWARD: 5 BTC for the identity of b4rrydoyle on BitcoinMarket on: June 08, 2011, 07:44:38 PM
I was scammed by #6038 in BCM. When I checked out this post: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=12678.0, I find some connection betweem the four scammer listed, like this ip 217.23.3.57 is used by #5284 and #6038, 82.16.104.171 is used by #5806 and #6038, and one reply to the thread says "I saw a lot of high price activity from both user #6038 and #5810, especially between themselves."

I think it is very possible the four of them is the same person. What do you think?
64  Other / Politics & Society / Re: China Has Divested 97 Percent of Its Holdings in U.S. Treasury Bills on: June 08, 2011, 04:42:33 PM
Yes it is affecting American's lives.  How much, depends on which American.
……

Thanks you bitcoinBull, that's the real situation of American life.

I guess gas price climbing up is a global problem, the price in China is about 4.5$/gallon. It doesn't affect our life as much as the housing, but it
drives up the price of food and other goods of everyday use. Which is not the most horrible thing.

The insane price of housing here is most caused by the fucking government.(sorry) They are a bunch of greed monster, who use force to "buy" the land from people at a very low price, then sell it to the development and make a fortune with it. The bank loan money to the development to build houses, so they are benefit from this housing thing too. Beijing made some move to decrease the housing price but doesn't help at all, because every part of the government is benefit from this. And the Beijing keeps an eye close to this, the only thing they care is GDP.

Sorry for getting a little political, but this is how we are struggling. This can somehow explain why the middle class of Chinese tend to overseas emigrate. And USA is always our first choice. Grin

Does the USD falling down affect your American's life? I am Chinese and just curious. Just for you to know, in a big city of China, the average income of people is about 3k RMB but the price of a 100m2 apartment is about two million.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMD announced to switch from selling hardware to selling BTC ;) on: June 06, 2011, 05:24:32 PM

67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can anyone tell me what is this code means? on: June 05, 2011, 05:02:06 PM
the hashes are probably md5'd passwords, then the random characters after the colon could be user specific salts for the password hashes

So it not possible to crack it. Sigh.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, I have some bitcoins... ...now what? on: June 05, 2011, 04:57:06 PM
I do live in a third world country and don't have a stable economy, so give it to me.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can anyone tell me what is this code means? on: June 05, 2011, 03:59:46 PM
the password seems to be hashed with a salt

witch basically means that your not going to reverse engineer what the password is.

if you wanted to figure it out in theory you would have to have a known password and then see what the salt is Hash(password+salt) = the answer

Thanks for you answer, but I have a question:
For example the line 7:
Admin:c752ce49e7b6d62ca576d6951f155a6b:-rFR'';3EPpgJYlb`,TN.)#)6hXn9{, ImmidsBiamY:198dc22576304ee4a008add15797f957:XY2x&:u7="@/y98^3++#Qe=RIskK:2,
The word ImmidsBiamY is not any hashed code, so what is it?

I get it, it just another username.

In 0.3.22rc5 a bug was introduced that may cause this problem. Please try an earlier version, and use -rescan.

Thanks everyone, I receive the transactions after I download all the blockchain. Take me 2 hours
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: (Please help) Why can't I receive the bitcoin? on: May 30, 2011, 06:10:55 AM
Is your client connected to the network and do you have an up to date blockchain?

I just realize that, havn't get the blockchain yet but I am working on it. I found bitcoin client 0.3.21 get more connection than 0.3.22.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / (Please help) Why can't I receive the bitcoin? on: May 30, 2011, 03:28:24 AM
I installed the bitcoin 3.22RC5 and got a new wallet, and I tried to transfer all my coins to it.

I made three transactions to my new address and you can see it here.http://blockexplorer.com/a/xUUZgFm7L

All three transactions are on the status "Not yet redeemed". I open my bitcion client and see no income.

The first transaction to this address is one day ago. Is there anything wrong with my wallet? I tried different PC with my wallet copy and still get no income.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mybitcoin on: May 29, 2011, 05:30:07 AM
I'm not so sure it works great.  I sent 50 bitcoins earlier today to my account and it hasn't shown up yet.  Here's the transaction:

http://blockexplorer.com/tx/78a8f799ea97a55a875a9b281a096319a9706213ef2e1b2a6efd0e89ee018da3#o0

It has a status of "not yet redeemed."  They were down for maintenance earlier today.  Hopefully they haven't lost any keys.

Did you get the money finally? I now have the same problem.
