62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN][RCH] RichCoin - The Coin continue add value to your wealth | Launched on: June 20, 2013, 07:39:35 PM

Intro
Richcoin is a new innovative alt coin, based on Litecoin. It thus uses scrypt for mining.

Richcoin is built with a rich sense of "8", the number liked the most in the world. People especially in Asia think 8 represent fortune and rich. In Richcoin, we set all paramters using "8", wish Richcoin holders can keep their wealth growing up continuously.

Specs
Each block rewards 88 coins, it will be halved about every 508 days. Target block time is 88 seconds. The diffculty will be retargeted every 88 blocks (or 2 hours 9 minutes and 4 seconds). Richcoin will have a total number of 88,888,888 coins!

Richcoin has a very low transacftion fee, only 1% of the current other crypto coins. It has a 3 confirmations for transaction, and 88-confirmation maturity for newly mined coins.

Richcoin will be started in a fair launch:
   block 0-588:       0 coins

very true. Id like to get a few myself but am opting to wait a few weeks and see where the prices are at.
I am doing the same too, the flip side is that the diff is going up quickly, because many ASICs released into the mining

Ltc should be back up to 4 by Sept.
I'd take it as a joke. No one knows.

Unless they bought in bulk, or are in it for the very long term, people will most likely not make an ROI. Also, the price has already dropped on the Erupters and its going to keep dropping I suspect. This is why you see a lot of people selling off Erupters and blades, they overspent on the hardware, and now its losing value before they could make a ROI.

Even in bulk it is 1.99 BTC I think. Same conclusion. I don't see how the investment can be returned, with so many ASIC is pouring into the market.

69  Other / Beginners & Help / Will people ever get their investment back on USB Erupter ? on: June 18, 2013, 08:12:28 PM
Each USB erupted cost about 2-2.3 bitcoins, and has 333Mh/s hash. According to calculator, it generates 0.25 BTC per month, at the current difficulty. This requires at least 8 months to beat even, with rapid diff increasing, I think people who buy USB Erupter now will never get their investment back. Any comments?
