Short term holders jumping in for 8% and 9% will not affect price that much.
Big bag holders would have to drop to see price go even lower and I don't think that will happen if they've already held through a 60% drawback.

As a trader and long-term investor into Bitcore, I wanted to share my thoughts on what I witnessed over the past few days...
Bitcore market cap on Feb 18 was $362M and today it's $125M - a 65% drop in 16 days!
A massive $237M literally evaporated in just a few days and all this because 1 guy started to ask questions!
This guy deserves the "Jamie Dimon" medal of honour for creating the most significant market correction in the short history of Bitcore!
I've been somewhat active in the Bitcore community since July and what impressed me the most over the past 3 or 4 days, is to watch all the sheep that this guy was able to convert from hardcore believers into haters! Indeed it's impressive to see people (I'm not going to name anyone here, but I think these guys can recognize themselves) going from a Bitcore cheerleader at 200% just a week ago and to now a total "hater"!
A lost of $237M in just 16 days and all this was for nothing! You know why?
Because nothing has fundamentally changed about Bitcore during these 16 days!
For everyone that still believe in Bitcore as I do, that have a long-term vision that exceeds April 30th, 2018, I have a suggestion to all of you.
When the next "Jamie Dimon" comes into the Bitcore world, be vigilant and do everything you can to convince him to voice his concerns privately with the dev team. We're lucky to have a dev team that is still accessible to us and it's our duty to protect this positive spirit that Bitcore had since Day 1 if we want to see this project succeed, not only because we want to make money, but also to help the Bitcore team change the world with their AMAZING TECH.
Never forget that anyone can learn and do marketing. There are millions and millions of marketers in this world... but there are just a few hundreds of gifted programmers.

The price has been falling weekly for the past month, more than the airdrops cover.
The Dev's don't seem to have active conversations on bitcointalk/ann or Discord with anyone asking what is going on.
Advertising seems to be 'get amatures to make youtube videos for them' without knowing anything but the posted timeline.
Spend company funds on entertainment in 'Franfurt' Germany, according to their website, I wonder if that's near 'Frankfurt' Germany.
New exchange listings are from places most people have never heard of.
Bitcore value at 4 month low earlier today.

BTX has been one of the most price stable coins in the game during the big market declines, and during big swings in total market cap.
The Airdrop is building the network, and growing size increases hedge against volatility.
I just grabbed 100 more. Crazy not to.
By the end of April, BTX will have paid for ALL my investments in over 20 altcoins.
BTX is EASILY the best alt-coin investment out there - and on top of it all is an amazing tech that will be here for a very long time.
With a few smart moves BTX will be in the same class as ETH, LTC, BTC, and BTH -- BTX can be the top currency - the tech is that good.
IT is FAST, FAST, FAST - and once other tech builds pay portals - FAST will be more important than ever!!!!
Don't worry people - Get all you can cheap, and HOLD - by the end of the year, you will be Very, very, very happy that you hold this coin.

Finally i sold most part of my stake, i don't want to wait few weeks before the end of airdrops, i don't want to risk so much and i settle now. I made a really nice profit and no other coin gave me that, thank you so much to the supporters, the team and the project. It was fantastic, thank you again BTX.

unless you get 250k BTX every monday, we are still having troubles, since that much is given freely every week. 7% and 8% airdrop is proving to be very bad... I still wish we continued 3% whole year. i'm sorry, this thread has a lot of posts and maybe i've missed something. Why this month we have 7% of airdrop? I think is too much! Ok that's strange!
I installed the new wallet 0.15.0.2 on a second computer and I now have 2 different balances... let me explain with fictitious numbers.
OLD wallet installed on computer #1 (previous balance as of last week) = 100 BTX
Today's airdop shown in OLD wallet computer #1 = 6 BTX
OLD wallet balance computer #1 as of today = 106 BTX
NEW wallet installed on computer #2 (previous balance as of last week, when install 0.15.0.2 on computer #2) = 100 BTX
Withdraw from NEW wallet to Cryptopia initiated last Thusday Feb 22nd = 20 BTX
Balance shown on new wallet from computer #2 = 80 BTX
Today's airdrop shown in NEW wallet computer #2 = 6 BTX
NEW wallet balance computer #2 as of today = 86 BTX
OLD wallet from computer #1 show 106 BTX vs. NEW wallet show 86 BTX... that's strange!
Despite the fact I did a withdraw. I was credited the airdrop amount as if I hadn't make this withdraw... that's also strange!
One thing to point out is that the Cryptopia deposit is still not showing after 4 days, which I think explains why the airdrop was calculated on my previous balance. ... but still strange!

There are obvious advantages that distinguish Bitcore from all other forks. At this point, the developer is trying to solve the volume problem in CoinMarketCap. It is obvious that this coin trigged someone. Otherwise the position of this coin right now is a complete shame. If you have some, I recommend to you to hold. If they can enter to a big stock market, it will sweep out all others.

Agree. Most altcoins (except Bitcore) moved more or less up and down with Bitcoin over the past few weeks and since the 18th, this tendency stopped. |

Watch news and social networks for positive/negative market sentiment.
When price is low and market sentiment is negative, it's time to buy, when price is high and market sentiment is positive, it's time to sell!
